My putting green needed maintenance which is required to keep the green smooth. After several calls they finally came out to assess and brought the wrong equipment to fix. Then they called and told me they could come out tomorrow but would be $250 for maintenance. This same maintenance was $150 last year. Asked why the big increase and was told because prices went up. I searched for a masonry contractor, call a half dozen, three came out to the site, and we really "clicked" with Braulio. He grew up in his father's and uncle's construction business and has now branched out on his own. I cannot recommend Southwest Valley Contracting highly enough. Braulio and his employees (including his brother and cousin) are polite, prompt, and know their stuff. Braulio communicated both in person and via text multiple times throughout the process to be sure we were always on the same page. He listened to our ideas and concerns and then gave us his professional insight. His price was right in line with the bids from the other two contractors and very fair considering the brute labor required in 100+ temperatures! They demolished our existing wall and began trenching for the new footer in one day. Then the rebuild began with perfect integration to the existing wall. They even came on the weekend to finish what they started. Plus, they regraded the backyard, fixed a couple of broken irrigation drip lines and cleaned up all their construction debris. In less than 2 weeks, we had doubled the sized of our backyard! Our beautiful new wall is stuccoed and ready for paint. We will definitely call SWVC when we're ready to put in our fireplace and pavers. Even our neighbor was so impressed he wants to use them for his next project.

In a final attempt, I asked for a referral, and they gave Braulio's info and high praises. They were right! Braulio answered all questions in a very knowledgable manner, gave the second lowest price out of six bids, and was the most professional across the board. Even hitting a snag with the project, which is not uncommon in construction, he made sure there was communication, follow through, and resolution. I couldn't ask for anything more. He did a great job and at a reasonable price. Even with me being a bit of a control freak, Braulio never missed a beat. We made sure that there was clarity on what I wanted, what he could provide, and if it was a good fit. This project was for cutting back my block wall and widening the gate opening, as well as using a composite material for pickets versus wood. We are very pleased! We have already discussed that we will call on him again when we are ready for our paver/gas firepit addition. I don't give recommendations freely but will for Braulio and Southwest Valley Contracting!

I (my son helped also) was able to transform my backyard to a masterpiece with my purchase from Purchase Green (PG). Every time I called someone answered the phone immediately and answered all of questions, without trying to upsell me or rushing me off the phone. Not to mention the pricing and quality compared to the big box stores. PG has 15' rolls (for waaaay less) which meant I didn't have to cut and do seams, which I would have had to do with a 12' rolls from one of the big box stores. I showed up took a look at their selection and chose the AZ Platinum!!! I also purchased the slag (75lbs. bags) and HeroFill infill (50lbs. bags) since I have dogs. Was able to save on costs doing it this way, thanks to Adrian. They also loaded everything on my trailer with zero issues. Rented the big tools (compactor and power broom), and border blocks from my local box store. Any additional supplies I ever need for maintenance, etc., I will go here first! Neighbors have already asked me to come do theirs next. Wife is extremely happy as well, since she finally listened to me...for once. Happy customer here!!!
