Tried charging me $180 for something I easily fixed on my own. Handed him my Xbox and let him know the disc tray was stuck but everything worked fine. He gave me a price estimate of $25-$55 and walked back into his house. Fast forward a week and I receive my first update that the disc tray is fixed and will cost $75. Felt a little steep but no problem I can support my local gaming tech. Took it home and plugged it in and the issue was not fixed. It was pretty much exactly the same. He provided a 7 day return window so I quickly hit him up and let him know. I drop it off again and after two and half weeks I receive an update that it needs a completely new disc drive and he'll let me know how much. Fast forward another four weeks and I text him again asking for an update. He tells me it'll be $180. At this point I'm done so I just ask for a refund on my $75 and he tells me he can only refund $25 since he charges a $50(!!) diagnostic fee. Really wish I knew about this fee when he gave me the $25-$55 estimate almost two months prior. After picking up my xbox and refund I come around to just opening it up myself and notice multiple screws missing and the inside looked practically untouched. After a couple youtube videos I fix the simple issue in less than 20 minutes. No new expensive disc drives or parts needed. Just wish he let me know he knew very little about Xbox's instead of just taking $50 from me with a smile and wave. read more

Okay someone else on yelp left a 1 star review explains how they kept dropping off their item to be repaired multiple times and the guy kept saying he will fix it and never did all 3 times, I thought maybe that guy is just a lousy customer, so I gave it a shot anyways, well he wasn't lying, avoid him if you wan't guaranteed work! He told me he is going to diagnose the entire PC's components to to verify why it's over heating, so I dropped it off, he had it for 24 hours and told me he checked "everything" and it all looks fine it's you're thermal paste and pc is alittle dirty so I cleaned it it's ready to go, I pick it up and test it out still over heating and pc shuts off when gaming! I asked him if he tested everything he said yes but I did not test your cpu cooler come by and I will put a new one in there! I was like whattt!!? I was shocked anyways he is not reliable, not with PC's anyways, he seems to mostly repair console and iPads.. he also refused to return my full refund only the fee to add thermal paste and wipe it down.. He's "thrown away" $130 to "fix" the HDMI cable portion of it and it's still not fixed. Doesn't guarantee his work which is pretty crappy. Especially when your 16 year old son works hard for his money to fix his things. I would not suggest him fixing anything of yours. He's a scam he gave a friend of mine a controller that was supposed to work but was worse than the 2 controllers with stick drift. When they tried to return it he said there's a 24 hour return policy when on his website it says 3 day return policy, he then made them wait a whole day so they couldn't return it.
