Tobias actually became a friend along the way. He patiently listened to what we were looking for, then brought the car up for a test drive. He answered all of our questions. We felt as if we could leave at any time, which is different from previous car purchase experiences. But we didn't want to leave because we were learning so much. Blair Berg gracefully walked us through financing and we obtained a better loan than we expected. Thanks to both Tobias and Blair for such a comfortable experience. John and Barb

Bought a 2024 Audi A5 in June, 2026: Here's my experience:…read more POSITIVE Saw the car I wanted on their site and because the make, model and color would be snapped up ASAP, they grabbed it right away and it was transferred from another city/state within a week later. At my request, they held it for me for 5 days until I could get there from my home 90 miles away. The salesman was nice, personable, accommodating and answered all my questions. He should get a better job elsewhere. The car was in pristine condition - inside and out. They attached one license plate for me and gassed the car before I drove it off the lot. As I'd been renting a car from Enterprise, I was able to drop it off there (different location from the rental origin) without an extra charge. NEGATIVE They will push the warranty, even if it includes flirting shamelessly! It could be that I was in a hurry, but they should have attached the second plate. Now I've gotta pay someone to do it - I'm not handy. I was paying cash for the car which at first, I going to do via wire transfer. However, telling me it would take a day for their "corporate office to receive the wire transfer", they wanted me to do the wire the day BEFORE I was scheduled to pick it up. While I was 95% sure I wanted the car, I'd only seen it online and I wasn't about to pay for it until I'd seen it in person and test drove it! It's 2026, folks and wire transfers are immediate! Don't test our BS meter. I paid by cashiers' check instead. Also, because I wanted to get miles on my credit card, I asked to put $10k of the $34k+ cost on it, but $5k is the most they'll let you put on a card (obviously, they want every opportunity to finance the cars they sell. One day soon, someone's going to challenge this in court and win). They wouldn't even let me put the warranty (which is a separate purchase) on my card. (the two points above are likely not under the salesman's control) Finally, and the most disappointing part of the experience: Once I bought the car, I immediately drove it to a mechanic I'd made an appointment with to have it checked out. They spent several hours inspecting it and told me that Internally, it was all good. BUT, while it was up on the lift, they saw it had been in an accident: the passenger door on the driver's side had been replaced and cheaply done with 'Bondo'. Sure enough, the paint doesn't exactly match. No accident was reported on the Carfax report. I called Enterprise Car Sales to discuss this with them and the dealership manager said: If it's not on the Carfax report, we don't have to tell you about it and we're not responsible for it. FYI: Don't trust a Carfax report.

The invoice shows no note of inspecting the belt, tensioner, or pulleys, despite the technician working directly next to them. 21 miles after I picked the car up, the serpentine belt snapped while I was driving. The roadside mechanic who helped me confirmed the tensioner was already seized before he touched anything -- he had to force it just to get a temporary belt on. I had the belt, tensioner, and pulleys properly replaced at another shop for $1,812.45. I brought this timeline to Barnaba, including in a conference call with owners Ron and Chris Barnaba and service advisor Matt Richardson. They denied any responsibility and didn't offer an explanation for why a part sitting right next to the area they'd just worked on wasn't checked, despite having direct access to it during the repair. I'm not claiming certainty about root cause -- I can't prove it. What I can say: they had hands-on access to the failed components during a recent repair and documented no inspection of them. If you're considering this shop for anything, I'd ask exactly what they inspect and document when they're already in that area of the engine.
