Nice and friendly staff. I had the sparkling sweet and white wine tasting and my husband had the red. The best wines that I had was the sunset sangria and country girl. My husband said the high 5 and tannat were good. Stop by and enjoy.

Stumbled across this place while visiting Salado for a friend's wedding. Not only is the structure beautifully redone from an old home, but the owner Steve is friendly as can be. Oh, and I can't forget to mention... the wine is AMAZING!!

    Montepulicano it's dark,rich, and delicious!

Knob Creek rocks, Elijah Craig rocks, a Ranch Water (a bit too sweet), and a classic Italian Aperol Spritz. Dinner on the patio starting with a smoked bacon appetizer followed by a wedge salad. Sugared bacon was delicious. Wedge didn't have the salad core removed which was a bit disappointing. Shared a coal-fired Margarita pizza with chicken added. Pizza was cooked perfectly and was delicious with a healthy amount of ingredients, including the excellent blend of cheeses. Our waiter Peter was very professional, friendly and informative. Definitely recommend the Vineyard for an upscale night out with excellent ambiance featuring a Mediterranean decor. Will go back.

It looked pretty, but nothing came together, and the biscuit was very dry. We also tried the Cuban sandwich--way too fatty and overly thick, hard to enjoy. The loaded croissant, however, was very good, and the fries were solid. The artichoke dip had little to no flavor, and the bread wasn't grilled like the menu said. The atmosphere was beautiful--you feel like you're in a villa. The country drive out there is nice, and the grounds are gorgeous. Drinks were on point and the wine was good, though pricey for a small pour. Our waiter was friendly but not very attentive. Overall, probably won't be back. We've had much better experiences at wineries in Fredericksburg. I don't mind paying for an expensive meal if it's worth it--this just wasn't. Very disappointed.

The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, the wine selection is thoughtfully put together, and the staff? Absolutely top-notch. Hannah made the entire experience unforgettable. She's incredibly knowledgeable, so kind, and brings such a joyful energy that it instantly puts you at ease. Her passion for wine (and cheese!) is so genuine, and she made the tasting both fun and educational--without ever feeling stuffy or scripted. Every wine and cheese pairing came with a little story or insight, and it completely changed how we experienced each sip. We've done wine tastings before, but this one felt totally different--in the best way. It was personal, engaging, and you could really feel the love behind every detail. We made the trip up from Austin and honestly? We're already planning our next visit. This time, we're bringing more friends so they can see what all the hype is about. Huge thank you to Hannah for making our day so special--we left smiling and can't wait to come back. If you're anywhere near Salado (or even if you're not), this spot is a must. Highly, highly recommend!

Our server was very young and wasn't very enthusiastic about any of the wines and seemed like she would rather be at home playing video games. It didn't help that she had a face full of pustulous acne and gave little information about each wine and kept walking off. The place wasn't busy and there was another woman doing a tasting with a few ladies on then other side of the bar and some people sitting at the tables having a whole glass. Needless to say we were very disappointed in the whole experience. The wines are all very good and made in super small batches but were very expensive. The tasting even was more than most other wineries in the area. I really enjoyed the Cornelius and Temp-Cab but at nearly 100$ a bottle with no romance story behind them was hard to take any bottles home. She gave as much enthusiasm about each wine as a fast food clerk gives taking your burger order. Then the last wine Ch. Marie LaRose was amazing but why have it on the flight of wines to sample when it's not available to buy? Lower the price of the tasting and leave out the last wine that you can't buy anyway. I would've taken pics but there was really nothing amazing to capture.
