Very clean and the staff was amazing I need to remember his name he was a life saver ! 10-10 room was perfect

If I could give this establishment zero stars, I would. I arrived to this establishment with my wife and the room smelt disgusting like cigarettes and it was really hot and the AC didn't work, this establishment made me feel like I was living in Englewood projects. All you could see around the hotel complex were African-American people that looked like gang members, this hotel property is extremely disgusting and I would never visit this place again, I feared for my life and for my safety. read more

Stayed in Lush, had an amazing experience and it was the best part of my Chicago stay. The jacuzzi and steam shower were like being at a spa. 10/10 read more

The rooms are nice but there are things in the room that are defective especially the "surround sound" didn't work in room 101 as well as burn holes in the furniture which I saw in both room 101 and 129. I paid over $1000 for a two night stay here ... no worries I'm used to that for a nice place but the customer service here sucks ... when I asked for the names of the front desk staff they said their names were Crystal and Rori. Both of their attitudes are snotty but Rori is flat out rude . And after purchasing a few adult toys from the hotels lobby one of them broke in the middle of the night when we opened it .. I texted the guest service number I had been using to communicate with the hotel shortly after And they said they would notify the front desk so that I could get a refund only for me to get down there and Rori to advise I should have called the front desk instead of texting guest services and since they have no knowledge of it (although I showed him the text messages ) he said oh well it's nothing he could do after I spent the money I could have spent at sybaris that has a pool and awesome customer service. I was at sybaris for a week and decided to stay here for two days following Sybaris for my anniversary.. it was a bad idea I should have stayed at Sybaris . I will never come back Here and I'm waiting for contact info for corporate. I just checked out at 5pm today . read more

It's a very cozy atmosphere. Dark walls, fireplace, some rooms have very tastefully placed mirrors on the ceiling (blushing) it was a great experience read more

Unfortunately, due to this COVID bullshit we missed my fiance's 40th Bday bash in NY so we were stuck here at home. Trying to think outside of the box with limited options I found out Axis was still open. THANK GOD!!!!! I booked the best room available the Lush for an overnight stay to surprise my babe and when I tell you HE LOVED IT, He was sooooo surprised something was even open. Man they saved the day! It was very romantic and perfect for us we loved it. I'll definitely be back. Comparable to Ambiance & Aura. Axis is the shit!!!! read more

Expense but nice clean and private nice location nice layout different suits available I have no complaints

the idea of a fun night out at an upscale sexy hotel sounded great. the pics looked good but we arrived to a poorly put together motel with some lights and sex beds. we were completely turned off and left immediately. dirty. poorly kept. staff was very friendly read more

I enjoyed my stay here with my partner and had an amazing time. The room was amazing, the spa bath was nice and big, as well as the shower. The only bad thing I can say about this place is that you can only stay one night, but I think that makes the experience better. read more

So I've stayed at 3 different suites and I wanted to have a extra long stay so I paid for a 4 hour stay in addition to my overnight stay so I was charged 639$ there was supposed to be a dance pole in our room well there was but it was loose pulled up out of the floor it wasn't secured to the ceiling so it wasn't able to be used out hot tub was dirty it had black stuff in it I recommend taking bleach and cleaning the hot tub yourself read more

Axis Chicago - This was our hot tub and the dirt in it after filling it ! - Hotels Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

It all started with a tragedy! The city making repairs to the sewer & water lines in front of my house which caused my home to be without water for a couple of days. Instead of going to a traditional hotel I decided to book a room at the Axis for me & the Mrs. WOW! Is the least I can say! Customer service was great! (Kudos to Cynthia!) The room was modern & clean! The Champaign & chocolate covered strawberries added a nice touch! Needless to say - the Mrs was very surprised & happy. Which of course turned out favorable for me! read more

A must go to place in Chicago! The room alone was a vibe that every couple needs to experience. I enjoyed the intimate time that occured, no interruptions, an adult only location, privacy and simply a nice place to go and getaway from all the noise that is around you in everyday life. I would strongly recommend couples to go at least once a year. The membership alone is a great small investment. read more

This place should have much better reviews in my opinion. Front desk staff was friendly. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. We stayed in Aspire room. The hot tub was huge and jets worked great and also had a great very large shower that included 3 shower heads. The room had a fridge and a coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable. I've been to other couple getaway places and this place really is great especially for the price. They also have so many different rooms and stay options that you can choose how many hour you want to stay or over night. We can't wait to stay in other rooms. read more

I love this place we spent the night in the Elate room and let me tell you it was so relaxing with my girlfriend we spent hours in the large jacuzzi. And loved the huge shower they have. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a fun sexy and relaxing time. read more

I had a reservation I flew into Chicago at 10:30pm the lady brittney that worked the night shift at the 53rd pulaski location declined my reservation because I asked her a question and she didn't like that another question was followed behind her rude ignorant response it was my first time staying there so my question was official she inconvenienced me i was tired she was very unprofessional and I will never go back there, im sure if and when any manager finds out how she treat patrons im sure they wouldn't want her at their front desk read more

Horrible customer service, room cancelled within an hour of scheduled time, had to rebook. Was afraid room would be cancelled again so arrived early, told room was now unavailable, had to wait another hour. Beyond aggravating and inconvenient bday experience for my partner, I will be cancelling my membership and not returning. Front desk employees had no concern and made no attempts to see if the room was available. You can't come early, you can't come late, life happens, going back to a traditional hotel where you pay in advance and arrive without stress. read more

6/29/24 I traveled 4 hours away to only get the Elite suite room 107 that turned out to be a waste of money. here are some things she should consider when booking. I ordered strawberries and bel air with my room set up which they didn't include I had to call for them to bring out. Also the music bluetooth and outlets in the most of the expensive room doesn't work proper. I'm knowing I'm not the first to be put on that room and have the same complaints as the last guest it's clearly damaged from steam! I couldn't connect what so ever and they offer me a Bluetooth speaker box, but it was dead upon receiving . So I wasn't able to enjoy the music my whole weekend stay plus I wasn't able to be enjoyed te full axis experiance out the suit. Over all I think the price was still way too high for the few major issues. special shout out to Jessica she went above and beyond to surprise me with a special bday set up due to this being my first year without my mom read more

Beautiful room but the service was horrible, I waited for ice for over a hour and also let them know the jets wasnt working properly it took so long I figured it out my self. Now the next morning towels was needed to shower they never came that was the tipping point, cant shower even after calling twice I was just ready to go. For over 200 dollars this is beyond ridiculous the other 2 I never had these problems wont be back to this location read more

Went here for my boyfriend birthday and he loved it and it was nice clean we definitely enjoyed our selves

Man I loved it! I think the prices should go a little bit lower but besides that it's a good place to take the girlfriends. Loved the steam shower and jacuzzis, super clean and if you need anything you could just call room service and they will take what you need. read more

I give no stars for this establishment after an incident I have had with them. I had a reservation with them. I made them for two people. One of them was an out of town visitor. I explain to them that I would not be staying but the other person is a member. They said only one member and one guest are allowed to stay. They refused to switch myself to the other member for the room. They also refused to refund me my $500 for the room. They ended up requesting us to leave and they revoked both our membership. Cruel staff is all I can say. Plus, one of the staff smiled the whole time. They would not give us a break. We were longtime members with them and they just cast us away. read more

My stay was decent enough to say this is an ok getaway spot but not decent enough to believe I will stay here again. I was here within the first 40 days of it opening and it seems unfinished. I compared it to Aura (which besides the paper thin walls I really like) and Aura kicks this one's butt. The staff i encountered were very nice at Axis. Granted, I have only stayed in 1 room at Axis and 3 at Aura, axis doesn't seem to set the mood. No vibe lighting, no hook up for music or dvd, 1 color fireplace, no special accent cover or pillows on the bed, outside light can easily be seen and you using the bathroom (be it to sh*t or shower) is too open (you can lay in bed and see your partner in there without trying). I had a room that apparently is next to an employee access area and all during my stay there was constant door closing/slamming and conversation, LOUDLY. I am thinking that with all of electronic devices that people travel with now there should outlets for charging them by the bed. It kind of is, only you have to climb under the table and look behind the refrigerator to get to it. I hope that all of my negatives will be addressed for future guests. I don't think I will be returning. read more

Loved it , best service ever and rooms are clean . Best weekend vacation in a long time

Staff was so off-putting by far worse service out of the 3, I was informed that because I was over room limit I had to leave immediately this after only being on the property for less than 2 mins after check-in, I Kindly obliged and requested that I be refunded, they switched the complimentary bottle of champagne I added to the room with sparkling wine after I requested it be given to me since the add on was nonrefundable as stated by them. The misunderstanding could've been rectified by just having my extra guest leave but then I was also informed that they would be "blacklisting" my account. I've been to Aura and was never treated like this I will be seeking additional action in light of this situation. I should've listened to previous reviews and just went to Aura but this location was closer to my new home. read more

My fiancé is from Chicago and he told me about this couples hotel as well as another so we make plans to go to his hometown an visit his family as well as spend a special evening together and we chose this one. I called to make reservations and they said well you can't stay here you have to live in the area. I just don't understand why if this is a place of business and your around to provide a service why can't people from different areas come visit as well? Especially if we are willing to pay a membership fee to come? Who knows how many times a person will visit or not? And since all of his family is there I'm sure we would visit here more than once if the rooms are up to par. It would be my first time staying in Chicago and I just wanted to explore different things this being one of them and being told I can't because I'm not from there I just don't get. read more

My stay there was ok over rated I checked in before in the past & it was nice & all but recently had a problem with the jets in the whirlpool as if things like that don't get checked out before checking in the price 300$ a night ruined my anniversary cause after complaining my room was switch to another room were the waterfall wasn't working so its not the upgrade of the room it was about the stay & trying to just relax but it didn't happen that way 12/23/21 read more

It was actually dope staying here. The only thing that bothered me and my girl was the A/C fan started making a lot of noise because we left it on to make the room cold. Other than that the staff was helpful and the room was very clean. We'll be staying here again very soon read more

The two star rating has nothing to do with COVID. The place was beautiful and phenomenal. My husband and I plan to go back. I just didn't appreciate how I was treated about my license being left there. First of all, they sent us to the wrong room. I ordered a birthday package for my husband and it was no where to be found. I paid for it (I could tell by my total at Check - In). I get it though! Mistakes happen. But that's not what started to grind my gears. I was trying to call from my room and I got absolutely NO answer. I called three times on my cell and I also tried the hotel phone. So I had to waste time running across the lot to the main lobby. Waste time that I paid for. Turns out, they put us in the wrong room. No problem. They said it was all set up and everything. AWESOME. So my husband and I had a great time. On our way home, I realized my license was not in my wallet on my phone. I was like "are you kidding me ?! Something else ?!" (We also live about 30 minutes away so that was time wasting to go back). I always, always put it in my wallet. Also, the card that I used to pay was in my wallet so that showed I put it back right away. I was double checking my purse and nothing. I called the hotel and the person who answered my call was trying to look for it. They said "we have a specific place that we put them, and it's not here." And I had no other way to prove that I KNEW FOR A FACT it was there ! They said they would look again. And, again, not there. I'm like "but it's there. I know it is. Maybe it's misplaced ?" And that person actually said "Lynn." Like to calm me down. They started to get a little snooty with me. I said "the person who helped me before put me in the wrong room. I already had an experience early. I know for a fact it is there." My husband remembered the person who took my license made a copy. I asked the person on the phone to check the scanner. Oh! Look at that... it was in there !! I was SO aggravated. They tried to butter me up but I was very upset. This person was basically saying I was lying. So all 'n all... it was a pretty bad experience with the guest services. Didn't even offer a discount for the next stay or the one we just had. Not a free bottle of champagne. Nothing. We spent over $200 for that four hour stay. But the hotel room was phenomenal. I hope next time it's a better experience. If not I'll just stick to the other locations I have been going to since 2016. read more

The rooms are nice and all however that doesn't matter if you don't receive good service. I booked a room a few weeks back as part of anniversary gift to my fiance. The room was booked for 11pm to which I subsequently showed up, made my payment only to find out that the room wasn't ready. Apparently the previous occupants overstayed their booking and I was told that the room wouldn't be ready for another to 30 to 40 minutes. By this time its already 11:10pm. I was told that they weren't expecting us until 11:30pm or midnight which makes no sense sense I reserved the room for 11pm. I understand things don't always go well in the service industry and I'm sympathetic to that. However, what matters is how you as merchant respond and act accordingly when those problems arise. They completely botched this one. First of all the desk attendant was not at all sympathetic about it. Here attitude was matter of fact about it "it is what it is" type of attitude. There was nothing, no asking me how they can make up for this inconvenience, no discount, not even a sincere apology just a simple S-O-R-R-Y. I then asked to cancel and receive my refund. The attendant claimed the refund included the deposit however this wasn't so. I called the hotel the next to get my deposit back as well. I was told that I need to speak with the Manager. It's been about month now and the Manager still hasn't returned my call after leave multiple messages. The overall message I'm getting from Prestige Clubs is "whatever", "it's our money now". read more
