My first interaction with them was over the phone, checking on the wife's car repair, and I found Mike to be very friendly - enough so that I decided to forgo the dealership for the next change on my car. It proved to be a great decision. Mike was very amicable when I arranged the appointment and even more so in person when we dropped it off. He patiently answered my questions and left me with a feeling that the car was in good hands. When I picked the car up I found that they had taken the time to check the manual for the best oil type and had matched the dealer's price for the typically expensive full synthetic change. I brought it there to get my car inspected and to have the oil changed. They changed the oil but said they couldn't pass my car for inspection due to a new law against cars having tinted windows. Not long after that, my car broke down. The dealership I went to told me my oil pan had been damaged, which must have happened at McCarthy. I want to believe it wasn't done on purpose, even though the man seemed happy to tell me he couldn't pass my car for inspection. Like I said, all of my previous experiences there had been positive.
