Richard's did an oil change quickly at a decent price. Nice fellow, I wish him luck in his new endeavor.

I love this repair shop! Highly recommend. Wish I could leave 6 stars…read more Derek = the best. Always so accommodating. Is willing to do something quick for you even if it means he gets stuck past closing hours. Work is always of a high quality. Friendly. And he's honest and is good at managing customer expectations. The mechanics that work under Derek are courteous and do great work. I've never had a bad experience with them. Great reputation across the capital district and its duly deserved. Note: dropping by in person seems to be the best way to set up an appointment. Not by phone.

About 2 weeks later the car developed an oil leak from the area of the crankshaft seal and or the timing cover as well as the front valve cover gasket, all of which he had to change. I paid James 900 dollars cash and I supplied the parts needed to do the job. Now after 2 weeks of text messages and 2 or 3 phone calls to my place of employment, James said he has not forgot about me. I have now taken the vehicle to another mechanic for the repairs. This review is not about Capital Tech itself but the mechanic. I am expecting these repairs to cost another 300 to 500 dollars on top of the almost 1600 parts and labor already spent. This post from a dissatisfied customer who is retired but work a part time job Sincerely Larry Ellis

I scheduled a follow-up appointment and dropped my car off first thing in the morning. After wasting an entire day waiting, I called at 4 PM only to be told they hadn't even looked at my car because they were "too busy." If that's the case, what's the point of making an appointment? Things only got worse from there. When I returned to the shop and expressed my concerns, staff openly used the F-word in front of me, complained about having to deal with the issue, and showed zero professionalism. Instead of standing behind their work, they suddenly claimed the noise was coming from somewhere else and that there was nothing they could do. Jaden was especially rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. If you don't know much about cars, don't expect clear or honest explanations. I paid $800, got the same problem back within three days, lost an entire day because my appointment was ignored, and was treated disrespectfully when I returned for help. Save your money. Save your time. Go somewhere else.
