So much fun and it's something different. Before you start throwing sharp objects around the place they give you a quick and helpful how-to lesson on safety & proper throwing methods. They then assign you to a lane where you have two targets and two axes. There's a whole point system associated with where the axe lands on the target (actually based on the world axe throwing league rules) so that's pretty cool. They play awesome rock music the whole time and there are some light drinks and snacks for sale. It's kind of hidden in an industrial park area but there are signs off the main street that easily lead you to this place. The employees/owners are also friendly and approachable. They want to help you where they can and will give advice if you're struggling or maybe not doing something in the safest way. We booked an hour reservation and that was sufficient for our family of three. Will definitely have to come back with more family and friends!!

I was looking for an axe throwing place. They have one in Upland, but there were many complaints that they don't have ac. And it being over 100 degrees, we would definitely be needing some ac. It's nice here in that they have 2 targets per lane. So you can have 2 people throwing axes at any given time. It's a good setup. The axes that you're able to use are a good quality. The actual board they use is a softer imported wood as suppose to ply wood, which would be a lot harder for the axe to sink into. It was pretty hot and musty inside. Their ac unit just wasn't able to keep up with the heat outside. They do sell drinks, including soda, beers, and water. The people who work here are pretty nice and helpful. Seems as though it's a family operation here. They teach you the proper ways of throwing the axe as well as how to improve your aim and accuracy. They have a whiteboard to keep score. As well as chairs and small round tables to sit at to take a break or watch others in your group play. It's easy to make reservations online. It was about $40 per person for 2 hours of use, which comes to about $20 per person per hour which is not bad compared to other activities (bowling, VR, top golf, etc.) Granted they don't have the different axe throwing games that the ones in upland has as well as in San bernardino. But it was fun nonetheless. I would love to come back any other time that isn't summer because it would've been a lot more fun if it wasn't so hot in there.

Another great session, second time here and it was as amazing as the first. Great staff and fun times.

What an amazing place to bring friends and family. Came here with my boyfriend in a Friday night to do experience something different. Brian the owner greeted us at the front and was super friendly and knowledgeable. We had mentioned neither one of us has ever done this so he spent some time with us and walked us though. Had some beers, and laughed a lot what an amazing first experience. Super clean and friendly establishment, will be coming back soon with a group of people. I love that they have snacks, both alcoholic drinks and non- alcoholic drinks.

    Great rock music

This was the first time I ever went ace throwing. It was a blast. This place is very clean, checks of the list for the moms out there. There are many safety precautions that the owner has implemented and they made me feel safe. Axe throwing is a great fun recreational social function that allows one to experience adrenaline and the joy of being reckless with out the consequences. Reckless precision. Please visit.

Great time. The owner was really personable and we had a great time because of the atmosphere he created. Definitely recommend and will return!

Went to Axe Slayers Throw House for date night. We had a blast!! I loved how they explained how to throw and took time to answer any questions. Can't wait to go back. Loved their beer selection too. Good vibes/music.

It is for sure a new fun activity worth trying out . The owner is great he gives you instructions and tips with such charisma it makes the whole experience enjoyable. The place is clean and with separate boards it feels like it's just your party there. 100% coming back :)

Are you able to add people to your reservation (up to 8) after booking a lane?

Yes but you will have to call us to add people to your reservation.

If we have our own axe that meets WATL regulations would we be able to bring it to throw?

Yes but we would still have to look at the axes to make sure that the handle is not broken and the head is not loose.

Do you serve food and beverages?

    Some snacks and can/bottled drinks

Every single game we have played here has been thoughtful, creative, immersive, and absolutely flawless. Matt, the owner, is truly amazing. He is incredibly talented, warm, friendly, and so helpful throughout every game. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and it shows in every detail of the experience. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and taken care of. The rooms themselves are stunning. Everything is beautifully designed, well thought out, and crafted with so much care. Every puzzle feels intentional, clever, and satisfying to solve. Nothing feels random or thrown together. You can really tell how much time and heart goes into every single detail. We just completed Far Fetched and had an absolute blast. The puzzles were super fun, smart, and just the right level of challenging. The whole experience was exciting from start to finish. The…read moreplace looks flashy at first with all the lights and screens, but after a while it kind of feels like they're trying way too hard to make bowling feel like a nightclub instead of just a fun bowling alley. The lanes were fine, but the whole experience just felt overpriced for what you get. Food and drinks cost a lot, and it didn't really feel like the quality matched the price. The vibe also felt a little corporate and forced, like everything is designed to squeeze money out of you instead of just letting people have a good time. It's not a terrible place if you end up there with friends, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. There are definitely better bowling spots around that feel more relaxed and actually focus on the bowling part instead of just the flashy atmosphere. Overall... just kind of meh.

Spacious and built with a second floor to handle corporate events and a backroom with a couple of archery courses, Valhalla Indoor Axe Throwing is more than just an axe throwing venue - it was also decorated for the Halloween season and had a giant Viking chair and giant semi-animatronic dog for a photo op! It goes without saying my enthusiasm for this place means if you want to learn and do axe throwing I definitely think this is the place you should go to. Chris, the owner was incredibly nice and easy to talk to and showed us the basics of axe throwing posture, safety, and etiquette, as well as what the different size axes, ninja stars, and shovels (yes you read that right) could do. Since it was my birthday, he also gifted us an additional half hour, which I really needed as I quickly found out I was pretty terrible at axe throwing. My wife, however, bested me in 9 games (probably more) as we axed our way out of some zombie themed levels. She had some really clean axe throws at those zombie heads - I now know when the zombie apocalypse comes, I married the right person.

We arrived a bit before 4 PM and found the doors closed, but we patiently waited in the parking lot. Soon, a friendly gentleman arrived and got everything set up, and we were welcomed inside. Initially, it was a little warm since they had just opened, but after about an hour, the temperature became comfortable. The atmosphere was lively and inviting--a perfect place to hang out with friends or for a fun date night! Since it was our first experience with ax throwing, we were pleasantly surprised by how much fun it was! The cost was $30 per person, which felt like a great value for the experience. Just a heads up: there are about 6-7 throwing lanes, so if you plan to visit on a date night, you might encounter a wait. I recommend going during the week or at off-peak hours to avoid any delays.
