We have…read morelived in Redlands for 15 years.. and have heard and been to previous events and weddings.. But Not now! Don"t trust this place to give you a fair or accurate quote or experience for a wedding reception or a clear enough picture of a great experience or outcome. New ownership is very unprofessional and un prepared. We asked for a tour and instead of letting us know they were remodeling prior to our visit and upgrading to unknowns they still walked us around with no clear picture of what was really changing and or happening. When we walked in they didn't know why we were originally there but yet we had an appointment. We were also very disappointed in the quote which was originally hand written with no clear picture or vendor choices and a horrible menu choice for food options, one page pamphlet, etc. We asked for all inclusive in our first visit, which in first quote we thought was written out, but in our second visit they said it wasn't and had to ask for another quote to be emailed. In the 2nd quote it was also an unprofessional layout and not prepared with very little detail and lots of unknowns and no specifics on vendors for fresh flowers or other vendor options as we requested etc.. leaving us very upset, as we will now be looking outside of are area. The highlight we were shown in the 2nd visit was a new lighting feature with flying dolphins which we don't care for in our wedding reception. Very laughable to be honest and unprofessional. Don't bother getting accurate figures and a promising outcome for a wedding here. We would never spend our hard earned money on a hand written quote nor an half ass written email with no specifics Grading new ownership and remodel an F, professionalism and preparation F, Overall experience an F...

Loved this venue for the wedding!…read more Small-ish, intimate space, for a medium sized wedding (~135 at this wedding). The catering, which I believe was done by an in-house husband and wife couple, was better than expected. The herb chicken, which my cousin said came highly- recommended, was tasty and juicy. The tri-tip was also solid, and cooked to medium as it should be. The wedding coordinator Katie, who came included with the venue, was amazing! My cousin, the bride, kept saying how great Katie was, and how helpful she was during the process. My cousin frequently remarked, "we trust her so much", which is great. Also, as a first time wedding officiant, she really made it easy for me. Also, Morgan the DJ, another venue provided vendor, was great to work with. The venue is on the second floor, which can be a challenge or an absolute deal breaker for some. They do have a chair lift though, which several of our attendees used to get upstairs. Parking could be a challenge, as the venue is located in historic downtown Redlands. According to my cousin, parking at the CVS was allowed, but I'd double check with the venue. We had a Friday night wedding, and I heard no complaints about parking. Thank you to the cast and crew at Speakeasy on State.

THANK YOU BONNIE & TEAM FOR THE BEST WEDDING VENUE EVER!! I will start this review off by saying…read morethat I photograph weddings, so having a gorgeous scenic spot to marry my boyfriend/fiancé of 11 years was the #1 on our list and The Pond (+ the overcast weather haha) DELIVERED. And the #2 thing on the list was having a variety of backdrops to photograph against which we also found here no question. We first toured The Pond and met with Bonnie (the owner) back in September 2022. We had already toured 5 other venues and this ended up being our second to last tour and last day of touring. The second I stepped on the premise I knew we had found our place. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, breathtaking, and well taken care of. The pond is also full of bright koi fish and other cute little friends like ducks walk around. I felt like we were already late in booking a 2023 date, but to our luck they had May 5, 2023 open which was also 11th anniversary! Easy and done. This hidden gem venue has charm and is the most unique and scenic venue I've ever been to. The main selling points for us in addition to the views were: 1. Full Bridal and Groom houses to relax and get ready in. We each had 8 bridesmaids and groomsmen + our family so it was very important to us that we could find a place that could accommodate our large party to get ready in. They also have separate parking for the wedding party right next to the Bridal/Groom houses and another larger parking lot for guests which is also free for them 2. Fun and unique areas for all of our guests to spread out and explore. Including the gazebo overlooking the pond, fire pit (for s'mores), and cove underneath the gazebo to experience a waterfall. There was also a ton of space for all our vendors to set up including a Boba Table and Photobooth 3. Affordable price that included 1 hour rehearsal the day before, 10 hours on the premise for the wedding, and our package also included the DJ and Bartender team. This was great because those vendors are already used to working with Bonnie's team and DJ Richie killed our lighting throughout the venue as well! They also set up heat lamps for us when it got colder at night 4. DIY everything! I have been looking forward to planning my wedding my whole life and had a lot of decoration and vendor ideas. Bonnie and our Coordinator team (YourDayYourWay) helped make all our ideas and plans come to life and were gracious about accommodating everything we asked for including keeping the sails down in the ceremony space for our photos, letting us do special cups for boba, and letting us choose our catering (5 Elementos Food Truck). The whole event was 100% customized by us and this was so cool since I know a lot of venues have strict rules they never bend. And for anyone who may be deterred reading this because they don't want to DIY everything, I promise the venue still looks great just as it is even without all the extra stuff. Seriously! 5. They allow sparkler exits! Not many venues in CA allow this and I was stoked they had the perfect spot for it If you happen to stumble upon my review and are wondering if you should book The Pond for your next event/wedding, just do it! :D

The venue is a gorgeous, beautifully kept "hidden gem" with incredible attention to detail. Meeting the owner, Bonnie, was a highlight; she was professional, attentive, and a wonderful partner in ensuring our guests were entertained all evening. The staff's expertise was truly top-notch--they were accommodating, professional, and made the entire night run seamlessly. I would highly recommend The Pond for an awesome experience for any type of event.

Who knew this little bistro/lounge at the Bear Springs Hotel in Highland, Ca. would have such a delicious menu? Oh, and they change the dining menu options ever so often. They also have a full bar menu for drinks as well. The vibe is upscale casual. There are two dinning areas at the hotel. One is the bistro (for more quiet dining) and directly across the hall is the lounge, where food and drink are also available. Great spot for a fun date night. On Friday and Saturday nights in the lounge, there is live music from 6-9pm. You can just order drinks and enjoy the music in the lounge, but you're gonna want to try the food too-it's yummy! The Bear Springs Hotel Bistro & Lounge is not just for hotel guests. It's a go to spot for locals, vacationers and those visiting the Yaamava Casino. Check it out.

This weekend we checked in and everything was going smooth as usual when we noticed the stomps and banging in the room above us. We stayed in 203. I called the front desk and told them it sounded like kids running back and forth. They apologized for the inconvenience and said it would be address. Needless to say, the running back and forth continued most of the night. I called again after breakfast (apple sausage was amazing) and complained that the running back and forth and stumps was still happening. The tall white guy manager named Josh or Jason did a horrible job of handling it. He kept trying to move us to another room and said there's nothing else he could do. I was like really? It's our anniversary weekend and we're forced to spend it like this? I almost went up there and knocked on the door myself out of frustration. Later on in the evening around 6:00PM, I called to complain again and spoke with Samantha. Now this is a real manager!!! She said that she went up there and heard for herself the ruckus they were causing. She then told me that if this continued, she would ask this guests to leave. The running and stomping stopped shortly afterwards. This year we have spent upwards of $40,000 with Yaamava and really enjoy coming to this casino. Had it not been for Samantha, my wife and I were planning to never come back and go to Morongo for our next outing. Good job Samantha, you retained a valued guests. Sidebar - smoke alarm went off at 6:00AM. Called the front desk and they said someone pulled the fire alarm. I think we're gonna just stay at the hotel on the casino property in the future. It's just too much going on at Bear Springs.
