MRS. E!! That is all…read more Our kiddo was enrolled here over the summer, it's been a few weeks since her class came to an end and I haven't heard the end of how wonderful Mrs. E is. Thank you to Mrs. E for making our child's summer better. She really enjoyed being a part of your art class. As a parent only stopping here to bring my child in for a little something to do over the summer, I was taken back by the beauty in all of the the art found here, especially those pieces found in the art room where the children gathered for class. Astonishing works of art decorate the walls. My kiddo brought home some very unique and creative works being a student here. Classes were always punctual to begin and finish. The class instructor, Mrs. E, is really awesome with all the children. She's very soft spoken and has a calming demeanor. She's hands on in her instruction which is essential when working with young children. She kindly converses with her students, compliments and treats them with respect. We very much appreciated all of this. Little people appreciate this as well. So thank you! We will be back next summer. If I could change one thing about the several visits we made to the Redlands Art Association, it would be in the way we were received by the lady who wears a blazer with the short dark hair and glasses that sits up front. She's not very welcoming for being a receptionist or what you first encounter walking into this place. She isn't friendly, no smile, quite rude actually. Never once said hello, or attempted to speak to us. My 5 star review is specifically written for Mrs. E. If I were to rate my experience based on the lady sitting up front, and the way she acknowledges others, (or better yet, her lack of acknowledgement towards others) this would surely be a 1 star rating. There's another lady with light brown shoulder length hair and bangs that is very kind and welcoming. Much better! Nobody wants to leave their house to be treated rudely by another person, especially on a consistent basis.

9/28/19 Amazing…read moreevening painting with Lady Nouveau - Natalie!!! When I saw on her website that she was offering a "PAINT YOUR PET" night, I couldn't sign up fast enough. The only dilemma was which one of my dogs! So I decided to do my Dad's dog for a Christmas gift. So all the instructions to pay online and how to submit a photo or two of the dog you wish to paint were easy to follow. Natalie would then have a sketch of you dog on canvas ready for you to paint. I arrived at the venue on time and everything was all set up and ready to go... apron, easel, paints, bushes, my canvas, and nice music playing in the background. Natalie was great at guiding me and the others thru painting the different aspects of our dogs... background, highlighting, fur stokes, eyes. Natalie has a true gift not only in art but in teaching as well. All of the students dog portraits came out GREAT!! I would totally do it again with one of my own dogs Thanks for a great and fun evening!! 8/9/18 Had a great time tonight at Hickory Ranch Steakhouse in Yucaipa at their "Paint Night" even with Natalie (Lady Nouveau). Upon entering, I realized the shop was much larger than I had expected. Looks like it may have been 2 shops merged into one at some point. There's a large connected room with a massive Anime books and poster collection. Lots of fun and unique finds. The man at the cashier was friendly and helpful. We left with just a couple small figures but would love to spend more time looking over the variety of books and collectibles. Any shop that includes Hip Hop has my vote!

Good selection of the big name newer stuff, and lots of up and coming indies. Great atmosphere and just a pleasant place to look around and decide what you want to read next. I decided to bump this up to 5 stars though because the employees are so great. Mal, Miguel, Cy, and Logan are always super pleasant and friendly. They give good recommendations and are extremely helpful. I still wish they had a dollar bin. However I feel lucky to have such a nice shop near by full of great people.

You are admiring the male physique from afar. Your model will be full on naked, & a few girls were shy, but in the end, everyone agreed it was definitely an experience worth having Contacting The Artful Bachelorette was easy & they were always so quick to respond & answer question. The class is 2 hours long & you get a teacher, ours was Violet, & a model, ours was Franco. They bring easels, paper, charcoal pencils. Make sure you have a speaker so you can get in the mood to unleash your inner artist with their soothing playlist. Franco is so handsome & sweet! & Violet guided us through several drawing techniques. A few in the group were already known artists but some of us were shy because, like me, I am not an artist. But we were all so pleased with our artwork thanks to the encouragement & teachings of Violet! Participated in Debbie's class "Tune into your inner artist"…read more... AMAZING!! Wonderful class.....and no artistic ability required! After a brief meditation the class mindlessly painted to some wonderful music and enjoy Debbie's musings. When all the paint was spent, our works of art we read not only by Debbie, but other intuitive class members. The artwork created in my class was nothing short of miraculous. I'm in awe. I found the class relaxing and exciting. Just what I needed after a hectic week. Can't wait for the next class. I've told all my friends....and now you too!

We paid for this class at Glen Ivy and she said pick any color you want and just paint whatever you want! Ummmmm that's not what we paid for. I could go to Michaels and get a canvas for $4 and do this by myself at home with all the wine I want - not just one glass at Glen Ivy. Sorry...not my favorite. Glen Ivy should specify that this is a free for all with no instruction whatsoever. At the end, she "read" our paintings which is sweet but a little oddly "mystical" for me. I didn't sign up for a psychiatry class. Anyway, she was a lovely lady, but please be aware that her style is opposite of all the painting classes out there. (Oh, and her husband or assistant came along but slept for most of the class which is hilarious because that's sort of how I felt too.) I should also mention that her class only lasted 30 minutes and she practically forced us to stop. Most painting and wine classes are about 2-3 hours. one star for the wine and one star for her kindness.
