9/28/19 Amazing…read moreevening painting with Lady Nouveau - Natalie!!! When I saw on her website that she was offering a "PAINT YOUR PET" night, I couldn't sign up fast enough. The only dilemma was which one of my dogs! So I decided to do my Dad's dog for a Christmas gift. So all the instructions to pay online and how to submit a photo or two of the dog you wish to paint were easy to follow. Natalie would then have a sketch of you dog on canvas ready for you to paint. I arrived at the venue on time and everything was all set up and ready to go... apron, easel, paints, bushes, my canvas, and nice music playing in the background. Natalie was great at guiding me and the others thru painting the different aspects of our dogs... background, highlighting, fur stokes, eyes. Natalie has a true gift not only in art but in teaching as well. All of the students dog portraits came out GREAT!! I would totally do it again with one of my own dogs Thanks for a great and fun evening!! 8/9/18 Had a great time tonight at Hickory Ranch Steakhouse in Yucaipa at their "Paint Night" even with Natalie (Lady Nouveau). The event started on time. We arrived early and had a bite to eat, then the fun began. Natalie was very good at telling us step by step what we needed to do. She would walk around and assist and answer any questions. I heard lots of positive comments, everyone's "Mason Jar" looked so different, yet the same ...all amazing. I would totally do this again everyone had a great

I started my garden last year, I was a novice. Bought everything at H.D and a nursery in Riverside…read more At the end of the first year, I found that several of my seedlings did not produce quality veggies. My second year I have purchased seedlings from Homeschooling Homestead. Even though I waited a few days to get the seedlings in the ground, everything has been growing strong. After the second week I had tomatoes on my vines. My Green Apple Cucumber Melon, has already a few tiny green cucumber's showing. Honestly this is the way to go, start out with quality seedlings. Why put in all the work to be disappointed because the seedling just never took to the soil? At Homeschooling Homestead, I love the variety of what they offer. The website, provide's you with great photos, of what you are purchasing. In addition, you have detail on how many days , the space needed to grow between seedlings and more. Each time I have ordered, my order was confirmed and plenty of notice given when I could pick it up. I have added HH to my favorites. I am planing on using a third garden box next year.
