Although the classes were easy and Judy was an absolute sweetheart, it honestly feels like I was ripped off. No one will hire me with the experience I have from this and the externship. When I asked the school for help, they sent me an outdated list of "job leads" in which half of the sites did not work, and most of the others weren't hiring. When I tried to give input about this, and ask for any tips about how to get employed, I was ignored. If your looking for a phlebotomy school that won't rip you off and will guide you through the whole process, this the school you want to go to. Judy and Veronica are very helpful and always willing to answer your questions. One of the main reasons you should go to this school is because they will schedule your clinical as soon as possible as long as you are comfortable and ready to be out on the field. Other schools will put you on a waitlist for your externship that might take from 4-6 months due to not having enough clinics to send you to but Wagners as multiple clinics that they will schedule you from 1-2 weeks even sooner. I went there years ago had an issue with the location they had sent me I could not get all my sticks there wasted 3 days finally after speaking to Judy I was sent to a place that I could get all my sticks. Years later Sent my son there as well and he to had issues but his was not resolved. Veronica who is extremely rude, unhelpful , unprofessional getto is the only one answering and taking messages. I have tried many times to reach Judy but Veronica will never transfer me to her. Only takes messages and after 6 months of calling I've given up in trying to reach Judy. Unfortunately i made the worst mistake going to stupid AUMT phlebotomy institute and they never helped me register my state license (from the information aumt gave me I misunderstood , and I thought my NHA was my STATE license) I called Wagner institute and Judy helped me even though I'm not her student. This school was amazing I can't thank the staff anymore . Judy was amazing she hand walks you threw any issues you have . No other school cares about your success like this . They literally hand walk you threw each section unlike other schools. They give you plenty of stick practice unlike any other school I know of . The staff made everything so easy . I recommend purchasing the practice test online prior to taking your test online. Basically if you don't pass this course you weren't really even trying it's that easy to pass . I would like to start off by saying this "school" is a joke and only wants to take your money. They are basically a scam. BOTH Veronica and Judy are rude display favoritism, are very stereotypical, and are not careful with the rude words they say. When you ask for help they don't "have time" but spend most of the time gossiping in the office instead of helping their students. This program is short and yet there's a long list of complaints. This school does not offer an adequate "break space". But yet we get yelled and scolded like 2 year olds not to drop water on her carpet because it cost money to clean. The reason I say judy only cares about the money is because she has told students the faster you pay the faster you will get placed in clinical. I have been given the run around multiple times by Veronica with clinical I have been told come back to practice and she would speak with me regarding clinical well I have done just that and when it's time to speak with me the response I get is "I don't have time today come back another time" now she is saying I won't have a clinical rotation for 3 more months! Judy will basically yell at you for using her supplies she's very frugal with the supplies given to practice, but if we PAID for this course don't you think we should have access to as much material and supplies needed. And then if you aren't doing it to "HER" standards she will say nasty things like " oh you must me a nurse because nurses don't know how to draw blood". Words like that can be extremely discouraging and almost a form of harassment. I am extremely upset I am wasting my money on this ridiculous program I should have gone elsewhere but now it's too late and I have to wait on them to receive my clinical so I can be done with them. I will be making a small claims report against them for the way those two are running this program. The two male instructors are awesome. The front desk lady can be a little short tempered...granted she does deal with a multitude of teens, but still. The lady in charge of everything is quite the enthusiast. As for the program itself- it's expensive. There are a few out there that are cheaper. However, this program schedule allows for those who can't commit to weekday courses to complete it on the weekends. The drawback on this is that it might take a while to finish. The facility? Clean. Supplies, ample. Practice time, good. Clinical sites, superb. Do they help you find a job? No. This is a school. The rest is on you! read more

I love this school! The instructors, staff and owner are very helpful and knowledgeable. They guide you every step of the way. Judy Wagner answered all my questions and concerns. She was very helpful when I went to apply for my state lisence. She is very knowledgeable and very caring to all her students. She makes sure you do things the right way and gives you advice and pointers on how to apply for jobs. I love that she is very straight forward. This school gave me the confidence I needed. I enjoyed going to stick practice because there was always an instructor guiding us. They don't rush you to do the clinicals. They allow you to go as many times to practice to get the skill down. Once I went to clinicals I already had the skills I needed and was able to complete my hrs with no problem and pass my exam with a high score! I wish I can do the school all over again because I truly enjoyed it! As of today I'm officially a licensed CPT 1! This school is the best for those who go to school or work during the week as the classes are on the weekends. Not only that but the course is completely flexible when it comes time to do your externship and schedule your exam. It's completely at your own pace and only when you're ready to go to the next step. I'm lucky to have been referred to by a friend to this school. All the instructors are great and very knowledgeable on the curriculum. They do a great job explaining the lectures and going over anything that may be confusing and they'll provide you with a study guide for the exam! When it came to clinicals, I went to as many stick practices as I could during the week and Veronica and Judy really helped build my confidence with my draws. This place sets you up for success but you have to work for it! Don't expect it to be easy but don't let that discourage you, the people here want nothing but the best for your career. Loved how the instructors made it enjoyable and easier to understand on certain subjects. They really build up your confidence to do the work nice and clean. There were practice test that are very helpful to study for and a great guide to pass your test. Everyone here is very thoughtful, nice and extremely helpful. I had this ongoing little problem that I want to share with you guys. When submitting my application to the state, Judy and her staff seriously went above and beyond correcting my application and helping me take care of the issue (keep in mind it was a mistake on my end and they help fix the problem). They kept up with me every morning to check the status and also to fax or email documents for me to the state!! Now and days you don't get that kind of generosity. At the end of the each class level you get a questioner survey, you can voice your concerns or comments on that as well. Over all Judy has a great team by her side and this is great schooling to get your phlebotomy training done in the one month time frame! Schooling itself was def enjoyable and instructors and staff are so funny and make it easy to understand to educational course. read more

This place is a joke. The only thing the owner Judy cares about is money. I was the best student hands down in my class and she held me back from going to my clinicals every chance she got. She would play games with me and offer me a site and then say oh you took too long to answer. Finally I took the NHA exam and scored almost perfect. Two years later I still don't have a job doing phlebotomy because that license doesn't mean a damn thing. Save your money and go get a nursing license. Unless you want know nothing and do grunt work like CNA's and MA's. read more
