The only dilemma was which one of my dogs! So I decided to do my Dad's dog for a Christmas gift. So all the instructions to pay online and how to submit a photo or two of the dog you wish to paint were easy to follow. Natalie would then have a sketch of you dog on canvas ready for you to paint. I arrived at the venue on time and everything was all set up and ready to go... apron, easel, paints, bushes, my canvas, and nice music playing in the background. Natalie was great at guiding me and the others thru painting the different aspects of our dogs... background, highlighting, fur stokes, eyes. Natalie has a true gift not only in art but in teaching as well. All of the students dog portraits came out GREAT!! I would totally do it again with one of my own dogs Thanks for a great and fun evening!! 8/9/18 Had a great time tonight at Hickory Ranch Steakhouse in Yucaipa at their "Paint Night" even with Natalie (Lady Nouveau). They were very communicative and helpful in helping to find the perfect craft for my mom's party and up unto my mom's party. The best part, they provided a few snacks and had popcorn and margarita machine for us to use. We were also able to bring in our own decorations, snacks and beverages. Marcus was our instructor, he was very professional, funny, and helpful. He even provided additional help and care to those in the class that wanted extra help perfecting their work of art. She was really flexible with my changing head count and just shared the minimum cost which was around $330. She had me choose what design I wanted to paint in advance too, which was easy! Review - I planned this for my birthday and I had such a fun time. Davina really walks you through the steps in an easy to understand way and shows you how to do each step on her own canvas. It was totally fun and doable for my friends who are not generally crafting people! The studio has great decorations and ambiance, Davina gave us glasses, glow in the dark hair clip, and a hat to take home with us. The final painting is so pretty and glows in the dark. Super recommend, especially for kids, families, friends. COVID - we didn't wear masks but you could wear masks. Davina shared she is vaxxed and boosted.

It all started when I made an appointment online at 11am when we got here nobody was here or answering the phone finally after over 1.5 hours I called and got ahold of someone who was extremely rude. And told me they don't open until 12.... I'm sorry your system made the appointment for 11? I spoke with the owner who is such a sweet person but it's sad that the people she has working at the studio are really taking the fun out of it and treating customers poorly. I wasn't going to make a post and just let the first situation go but after coming to pick up my children's pieces today and again dealing with rude customer service I feel like I need to warn people. Over $100 for crappy service isn't okay. Super unfortunate. Oh yes I forgot they waived one $8 painting fee When I went to pick up I walked in and nobody was there until I walked towards the back and was great as of I was a burden. I would not recommend their summer program. I enrolled my high functioning 10 year old son with…read moreautism in their summer art program and they called me frantically to pick him up early on his second day. They said a parent is threatening to sue them because my son allegedly trapped their child under a chair. The owner never found any video footage of this supposed incident, and my son does not have a history of this type of behavior. I didn't want to push for my son to stay in this summer program though if there is such a lack of adult supervision that they would even be unsure of the children's whereabouts during the hours in their care. The children are in a small space throughout the day during the summer program, and if there is no adult witness that can say with surety that an event did or did not occur, they are not actively supervising these children effectively
