Honestly almost all car service companies has horrible ratings online, but when I found Limo SF VIP and it had mostly positive reviews on Yelp and Google, we decided to reach out. I submitted the form on their website with all the details about when and where we needed to be picked up, what Mercedes we wanted, etc. and literally within a few hours one of their employees emailed me back with a quote. And they continued to be super responsive. I had a few follow-up questions and they always wrote me back in less than 24 hours and most of the time within an hour. The quote was reasonable and we decided to reserve a car with their company. The day before pick-up we were notified of who our driver would be/their contact info and on the day of the wedding we received emails with status updates letting us know they were on their way, arriving, etc. Our driver was so professional and on-time for our scheduled pick-up times. We were so happy with LIMO SF VIP's service and will use them again in the future!

Used this company for my friends bday celebration. Started off fine, until about 15-20 minutes into…read morethe ride (we were already on the freeway) discovered that the AC did not work. It was a hot day, and about 13 ladies on one bus. We started off by asking the driver to pull over to help assist us with the AC because it was not working the way it was supposed to be. He basically ignored us for a while until we were all demanding him to pull over. We were melting!! Meanwhile, the AC in the front part of the bus for the driver was just as cool and comfortable. Finally he pulled over, while my friend had the company on the phone letting them know what was going on, they had to communicate to the driver through our phone, before calling him directly. They said the bus apparently had been serviced the day before, but nobody with this company thought it would be a good idea to check the AC before allowing it to be rented out. Some adjustments were made to the AC and we were back on the road (it was still not working the way it was supposed to. We had to HOLD OPEN two different emergency windows during our ride with our hands, arms, and other items so we did not pass out from overheating. (see pic). It was over 80 degrees inside! Once we managed to arrive to our destination, the bus parked and told us that is where he would be until we were ready. We had lunch, and when we just finished paying the bill getting ready to leave, the driver TEXTED us to let us know he just left to get a different bus for the ride back. Not sure why he thought it was a good idea to sit parked the entire time we ate our lunch, and then decide to go swap buses when we were ready to leave. So then we waited for him to return.... After that, the rest of the time was great...thanks to us knowing how to turn up!! Not because of the company unfortunately. This company did not handle this the correct way, and has denied any type of compensation for the trouble we had with the AC majority of our trip. 1.How do you rent out a bus to customers not making sure the bus is up to par? 2.Why would you leave us to get another bus at the end of our lunch? 3. Why do you think it is okay to not compensate us for what happened? Even with them telling us about the bus being serviced the day before, NOTHING!!! I personally would not want to use this company for any future rentals since this is how they treat their paying customers. We were not unruly, rude, nor did we cause any hardship to the driver during this, so to be treated like this was completely unacceptable.

However, most recently we spoke with…read more"Michael" there to reserve a ride from Marin County to SFO and return, for flights to and from Hawaii. "Michael' pulled our file and confirmed our address and cellphone number and confirmed that their driver would pick us at 6:45 am on the agreed date for a 9:00 am flight. At exactly 6:45 am on flight day I received a phone call from the driver, asking whether 21st street was our cross street because he couldn't find our address. I asked him where he was, because there is no 21st street here (oof anywhere in Marin as far as I know}. He replied that he was in Oakland, not in Marin County. I then had to get all of our things into our car and head to SFO in rush hour traffic and fog. Fortunately we made the flight, barely. En route I called "Michael" and told him what had happened. He was unapologetic, saying that he hadn't been told by the driver and that the driver must have been confused or been given the wrong address. When I told him to cancel our return pickup since we obviously had our own car at SFO, he just mumbled "yes, I guess I should cancel." In the past both Pacific's dispatchers and its drivers seems to be Russian, but spoke perfect English, and were excellent in all respects. Neither Michael nor the driver this time were either Russian or remotely alert. I don't know if the company has changed hands, but it certainly has changed its performance. Never again.

I booked Sky 1 Limousine for my sister's bachelorette party. We took a party bus 40 minutes into…read morethe California foothills to go wine tasting at four wineries. Pros: The driver was on time, polite, and kind. The bus itself was spacious and met our needs as far as setting up bluetooth and playing music. The driver followed our itinerary well and was on time for pick ups and drop offs. Cons: On the way back home, the bus started smoking out of the AC vents - it became overheated in the 100+ degree temperatures. After a full afternoon of wineries and about 20 minutes away from our destination, all 13 women had to evacuate on the side of a country road in the middle of no where. We had to carry all our belongings (ice chests, etc) to a small dirt side road in sweltering 100 degree temperatures. The bus was unable to continue the journey, so we had to call ubers and get relatives/friends to come pick us up and take us the rest of the way. While I understand that things happen, I expected more from Sky 1 Limousine in regards to a refund. They offered to cover the costs of the Uber (there was only 1) and refund us for the final 30 minutes of the booking. That is a meager 1/13th of the total cost - over $2100 - which means we will be refunded just barely more than $100. The bus breaking down really put a damper on a wonderful day. We are lucky we had relatives who were willing and able to come get us, given the heat. If any of the women were especially heat-sensitive or had pre-existing conditions that made being out in the heat/ standing for a long period of time difficult, this could have been a much worse situation. I expected more from Sky 1 Limousine and I am extremely disappointed in the service we received. I would not recommend them to anyone moving forward.
