I was not able to attend this year's Yelp Holiday event. Instead, I volunteered to organize one the limo services for the south bay Yelpers. After yesterday's performance by their driver staff and outstanding vehicle impression, Joel and I will be working together for my future events. I was able to see their Van Terra Transport up close and personal (since the initial departure spot was at my house in San Jose). The Terra was very slick, clean, beautifully well crafted, and sharp. That's how I like my luxury vehicles - executive / presidential style. I'm not a big fan of the party limo vehicles. Literally, a few days before a multi-continental flight, my executive asked if I could help find a ride to and from the airports. At first, we were thinking taxi or Lyft or Uber, but my executive is a VIP, and I needed to make sure that he was on time to every location that he had to be at in the different countries. This was my first time trying to hire a car service for someone who isn't me. I needed a reliable company that works in all the countries that my executive needed to visit. I received a referral from a really good friend to contact Caroline Cua. I contacted Caroline, the Vice President of Client Experience at Gateway Global, and she was extremely helpful! I divulged all of my worries about international travel, and my need to have everything be perfect for my executive. She assured me that Gateway's car service is always punctual and extremely professional. She was able to help me through my unorganized craziness that I needed her help to sort out. Caroline was able to schedule 8 trips either to or from different airports in 3 different countries for my executive's trip. During this trip, I was such a PAIN! I worked with Amy Zhen to book a 23 passenger shuttle for my 30th Birthday wine tasting trip to Livermore Valley. She was detailed, very responsive and was able to provide me with a presentation of their fleet in PDF format. The quote met the price point I was looking for and I definitely made the right choice in booking them. Our shuttle was clean and comfortable. No complaints about the vehicle whatsoever. Our driver, Ahmad, was pretty quiet but was professional throughout the whole trip. I hired gateway global to bring my wife and friends to the pink concert in Oakland arena and I couldn't be happier. Our driver was Thomas and his professionalism was second to none. From the time he picked them up at our home to the time they left the concert he went above and beyond to make sure they were safe and that they had everything they needed. The SUV was very nice and clean, the driver was very good at his job, we had text messages, emails from the company every time there was a pickup or drop off. Gateway Global was a preferred vendor for transportation for our wedding at Nestldown in Los Gatos. We needed shuttles to get people from hotel to venue. They shuttled all 100+ guests to the the venue on time so our wedding scheduled was not delayed. They were kind and easy to work with leading up to our big day. They have a diverse fleet of shuttles to customize to the number of guests we had. Their drivers were also extremely nice and go above and beyond to accommodate. One of the drivers, Thomas, has a very professional and positive attitude. He helped carry one of our guests who was sick, along with carrying our stuff all the way up to their apartment after the wedding. That's the name of our driver for our trip to downtown SF which as everyone in the bay area knows is a hellish drive especially during the hours of 5pm and beyond during a week night. Surprisingly we got there in 30 minutes easily from the Peninsula without any problems. And when we riding back, the limo was still in pristine order (He cleaned up our messes we made earlier). Absolutely fantastic service from Joel Amato and team @ Gateway Limousine. For the Yelp Unwrapped Holiday Party, I was tasked with captaining a limo for some of us lucky guests living in the Santa Clara area. Gateway to the rescue! Joe was very curteous on the phone, very prompt with follow-up and even made sure aftwards that everything went smoothly. As for the service itself? The driver was on-time for pickup, drove like a mad-man to get us there early (much appreciated), and stayed in the area of the VIP line so anyone in our group who wanted to stay warm in the van could do so (while the rest of us froze outside!). Pickup was right in the front and we arrived at our destination safely. Not only was I lucky enough to get to attend the Yelp Holiday party this year, but we got to go in true style thanks to Gateway Limousine and CC. Joe was our driver and he was quite attentive to all of our needs and made sure everything was taken care of on the way there and back from the party. Joe even had an umbrella to make sure we got inside without getting wet and I thought this was a nice touch. The ride was smooth and he made sure we had the beats while we were getting our drink on. Also instead of freezing in the cold, he stayed curbside so people could stay warm as long as possible before they started to let people in. Even on the way back, my man hooked us up with water and got us back right on schedule. I definitely felt like we were treated like celebs and will think of using this service again in the future. I shopped around and found this company on Yelp w/ good reviews. I spoke w/ their Sales rep and he setup on RES for a Exec Sprinter Van. The driver, Fabio, was friendly and he was early for the pickup which was nice. He drove us around SF bars and put up w/ some drunk dudes BUT provided excellent Customer service all nt long. I give GG 2 thumbs up & would highly recommend them. I also feel bad since at the end of nt, I was too drunk to recall our tip so i think we didn't tip enough sorry Fabio- ! We used Gateway mainly for shuttles for our wedding guests to get to and from the venue from the hotel. We did also use a limo for transportation of the bridal party to the venue. They were a really great service to work with - specifically Amy. We let her know what we were trying to do and she made suggestions of vehicles and timing that would work for us. The drivers were very friendly, professional, and punctual. The vehicles were even nicer than I expected. Although it was pricer than I expected, I found that they were about average for the services, and beat out some of their competitors in terms of price and customer service. i was recently recommended by a friend to use this company for my friends bachlorette party to napa and the service is amazing!!! I actually booked the wrong date and didn't find out until the day of the party. I was really fortunate to have a nice lady pick up my call at 5am and make the changes for me and she saved my friend's party. I used gateway limo for our July wedding and working with the company was a great and easy experience! We worked with Amy throughout the planning. She was really quick with emails and helpful to find the right vans that fit what we were looking for. We ended up using 2 7 passanger vans to get to the venue and one 14 seater van on the way back. The vans were huge! They have pictures on the website but I still wasn't expecting them to be so big. When the vans picked us up from the hotel they had signs saying Mr. & Mrs. (Last name) wedding party. It was so cute! The vans were really clean and on time for each arrival. I recommend gateway for a wedding! We also used them a few years back for my 21st birthday and rented a party bus. Same great experience then! read more

I had a wonderful experience with this limo company. I was put in touch with Joel (my sister and her bf recommended them) and he gave me excellent customer service which is VERY VERY VERY important to me. I had the idea to rent a limo and have a Napa tour for my moms 50th birthday and Joel made the day come to life. I had no idea what wineries to go to (with such a big group) so he recommended a few. Our itinerary was perfect! Oh and we had my 4 year old daughter with us so it was important that the wineries were family friendly, which they were! Every question I had was answered promptly by Joel via email and/or phone (and I asked a lot of questions--sometimes the same question 3 times). We rented the limo bus which was AWESOME!! It's better in person than in the pictures! The ipod hook up was great because they got to listen to their own music. It was clean inside and out and soooo comfy. Everyone in the party loved the limo style bus and loved the fact that their was head-room. Our limo driver was Larry and he was great too. He put up with my mom and her friends. ;) He was knowledgeable about Napa and the wineries which was fun. Oh and the limo was a surprise so it was necessary, at the pick up place, to hide it from my mom which Larry and Joel did fantastically! I communicated with Larry via cell phone that morning to let him know not to come to the pick up point yet and he was already waiting for us down the street like I asked Joel when arranging everything. I added Gateway Limousine quite late onto my ever growing list of vendors that would be part of my recent wedding in Half Moon Bay this September. Despite the last minute part, Amy was fantastic and gave me complete attention from beginning to end. After dealing with Amy by email and on the phone, I had no doubt that I didn't need to worry about this part of the wedding, and I was right. Both shuttles arrived on time and provided great service to my wedding party. I first thought the service was a little bit expensive, but after checking a few more places, I realized they are incredibly competitive. Any way you look at it, it's a lot cheaper than a DUI :-) To be honest, I wouldn't have minded paying a bit more, because Amys customer service really was above and beyond. I used Gateway Global for my wedding in January and I'm extremely happy! At first, I was really worried about the shuttle service. Admittedly, there was not a lot of communication required between me and the client services manager Janelle, but being the Type A person that I was, it bothered me that I wasn't entirely sure if everything was completely ready for the wedding. Plus I had a weird schedule and I worried that the driver staff simply wouldn't understand what I wanted. But thankfully, everything went exactly as planned. Unfortunately, I couldn't quite remember the name of the limo driver that drove me and my bridesmaids to the ceremony from our hotel. Though he was a great guy, he was simply overshadowed by the wonder that was our shuttle driver, Fabio. Fabio is the best. It's as simple as that. He was extremely attentive in making sure that everyone was on board and that he was on schedule. When we all got to the ceremony site, he was also extremely attentive to making sure I didn't get my dress on the limo tires so that the dress wouldn't get dirty. He even helped me pin back my dress accessory thing. My guests also loved him - although I partly think that's because it was the end of the night and the best man was just really really drunk. He even tried to start a Fabio chant... In the end, I'm really happy with how everything turned out. read more

THOMAS IS THE BEST!!!! My husband got a car service last night for my friend and I. ( I refuse to take uber for safety reasons). We had to go to Oakland for the PINK concert. Thomas showed up to my home on time. He got us to the concert on time. He waited for us the entire time, and when we left the concert he was right in front waving and calling my name. I felt so safe and extremely spoiled. The service that Thomas provides is definitely 5 star service. I hope that the company appreciates employees such as Thomas because it's truly a reflection of their company. The car we had was clean and brand new. Water was provided. Had the worst experience as i was being taken to the airport to catch a flight i said hello to the driver And gave him my bags he didnt say anything back no hello ok cool... Another person says hi he didnt even acknowledge.. Now i know hes a problem so now we get to the next hotel and the driver decided to take a break to smoke for 20 minutes he didnt say anything or i will be back nothing... He disappeared and went for a smoke but I COUGHT HIM I SURE DID!!! Well thats not the end after he came back i didnt say anything so we are by the airport he gets into an argument while driving he starts laughing as he thought putting our life in jeapordy was funny! He cursed at the driver next to him and said " F*ck You come get out and fight me and pulled over" like are you kidding me dude holy crap?!
