I booked Limo 5 Star for a trip to Napa from SF and it was a great experience. Firstly, they have the best rates I could find in the Bay Area and a great range of vehicles at different price points. Our driver arrived on time and was very accommodating for any stops we needed to make and changing our drop off point. We were 12 people in a sprinter van that could fit up to 18. They had comfortable seats, drink holders, and ability to play your own music. Lastly, the booking process was very easy. I was able to communicate with the business via Yelp and make a reservation within a week's notice. Overall, if you're looking for a limo service in the Bay Area for any occasion, I highly recommend this company. read more

We will be using this service again. Yerlan was our driver. He was punctual, professional and very helpful. He drove us both to and from the airport. The vehicle was very clean and had water for our family of 5. I found that the price was significantly better that other services. Because of this I was worried it was going to be a get-what-you-pay-for situation. Not at all! I couldn't be happier and will be using this service again. After Yerlan dropped us off at home we discovered that our daughter left her backpack in the back seat. The plan was for me to drive to their office the next day to pick it up but it turned out that we all had Covid. I reached out to Yerlan the next morning and he was kind enough to agree to ship it that very same day. Above and beyond. read more

We used limo 5 star to shuttle our wedding guest back to the hotel from Sonoma to Petaluma. Driver got us back safe and sound. Austin and his team were able to answer all my questions and reached out promptly whenever we had concerns. They also have a variety of shuttle options. Would work with them again! read more

Super fast and helpful response from customer service team which was critical to event planning. Nice range of price selection/fleet. Transparent pricing and easy reservation/booking process. Billing also seamless. Everyone super friendly and helpful. In terms of day-of, got driver's contact info ahead of time for easy communication. Right on time and even early. Clean executive sprinter with Bluetooth for music. Schedule and stops given to driver ahead of time which made logistics easy. Got to and from each place super easily. Would recommend. read more

We booked this bus for prom pretty last minute. Austin was extreme helpful and understanding during the booking process. Everything went smoothly and our driver, Jorge was awesome. He accommodated to everything we needed and was easily reached with a quick phone call. The reason why I am leaving a 4 star is because the Bluetooth did not work. When we first got on the bus, we tried connecting it and it didn't work. Jorge ended up FaceTiming someone to ask how to do it. The guy over the phone was not very helpful and was acting like Jorge and I were doing something wrong when we were doing exactly as he was saying. We ended up starting our first drive with no music. I asked Jorge if he could try to figure it out for when we get back and he was very nice about it. Unfortunately he tried and was not able to. We ended up trying 3 times we got on the bus and it didn't work. Other than the Bluetooth, everything went very well. read more

We used Limo 5 Star this past Saturday for a 25-person trip to Napa! The owner and manager, Ernest, was extremely communicative when scheduling the bus a month ago. The bus was large, clean and our driver Joseph was early and very accommodating. I would highly suggest using this company for any large trips moving forward. read more

My son and his friends were at a concert in SF that ended just before midnight. I wanted a reliable company that would not flake at the last minute to collect them and bring them to the South Bay. I couldn't be happier with this service. This trip to OAK + SF was the first time using the hybrid airport transport service. When I arrive in OAK with a companion, I usually take a cab to the BART station, and then make my way to the city. Given that I was flying solo and arriving late at night, I wanted to make sure that I arrived to the city safely. Yelp pointed me in the right direction with Limo 5 Star! I booked the day before I arrived. I made phone reservations and prepaid in advance. I was told that a driver would be tracking my flight and would text and call me upon landing. Sure enough, when I switched my phone from airplane mode to normal, I received a text from my driver Jan that he was at the airport and to text him when I had my luggage and was ready to leave. He called to confirm a curbside pickup point and told me that he would be in a black Camry. Everything went smoothly. In the car, there's bottled water waiting for you. Dropoff at my friend's apartment in the city was not a problem. Jan already had the destination address in his GPS. I was so impressed with this service that I booked Limo 5 Star for my return trip to the airport. To my surprise, I had the same driver, Jan! Just like before, he was right on time and called me when he was outside the apartment so that I did not have to wait curbside in the cold. Jan is a great driver-punctual, professional, and friendly-I highly recommend him as a driver and Limo 5 Star. What I love about this service is that the fee is all-inclusive (includes the transportation fee, toll fee, and tip), and you can prepay so that you don't have to worry about carrying a certain amount of cash and worrying about change. read more

Bought a livingsocial deal for 120 for 4 hours stretch limo service which clearly states within 150 of the walnut creek area. I called to book only to be told this is not true and that it's 25 miles with 94116. They would not honor what they posted on livingsocial! *** first of all I did call your company and it was stated that I could not be picked up in the Livermore/pleasanton/Dublin area and it's because of bridge tolls and cleaning fees. It was explained to me that it was living socials mistake for posting this. Now in your comment you are saying I can go anywhere I want within 150 miles of walnut creek area; i was told I cannot go anywhere out of the 25 miles on the phone so you have to make up your mind. What is it? 25 miles of San Fran or 150 of walnut creek and my one star is for that customer service on the phone! read more

As a working professional I have taken many private limo/cabs in NYC, but my experience with Limo 5 Star in San Francisco exceeded my wildest expectations. I had contacted Sunny the owner of Limo 5 Star a day prior to arriving in San Francisco and he was extremely accommodating on my travel arrangements while providing exceptional customer service. Since I was traveling with my family of four I decided to order an SUV for a comfortable ride to our hotel from the airport in the financial district. Their rate was less than the cost of a shared ride for four passengers using the airport Super Shuttle Bus service. Their all inclusive rates are reasonable and in some cases more cost effective, with reliable service, courteous professional drivers while driving in a luxury vehicle. All of their drivers Oscott, John and Dell were always punctual, extremely personable and very knowledgeable of the area. Their vehicles were very well maintained and one of our drivers John provided my family with ice cold bottles of water during our 4 hour excursion to Muir Woods and various key landmarks around the city of San Francisco. John was a great tour guide and ensured we hit the key spots during our private tour. The total cost for a private and personal tour while driving in a comfortable luxury vehicle was a great value compared to the local city tours offered for a family of four. Coming from a large city and being a skeptic myself, this experience exceeded my expectations and would certainly utilize the services of Limo 5 Star while traveling again in San Francisco. Give them a try their company name lives up to their reputation. read more

It's 4:00am. I need to get to SFO from FiDi for a god-awful early flight. There are no cabs near my hotel. Fortunately I'm across the street from a real hotel [that cares about guests]. I walk over and ask about a cab. The doorman asks if I would be OK with a town car. I'm up for anything that gets me to the airport. Limo 5 Star shows up a few minutes later and we're off. The driver is nice and knows how to drive. [Sadly I've taken enough cabs in my life to see the spectrum.] The car is roomy and comfortable. Everything is coming up roses. And did I mention it's cheaper than the cab I took to get into the city when I arrived? How can you not love this deal? read more

When you have a great experience, you return for more. We come to San Francisco once a year (skipped last year) and have used Limo 5 Star 2 times prior to this trip. They always exceed our expectations. The drivers are always helpful, they are courteous and professional. We feel safe driving with them, which you can't always say of a driver! They are friendly but not overly chatty that you feel they are trying to make conversation just because. It is so nice when you land, turn your phone back on and you have a message or text from the driver letting you know he is waiting. It takes a lot of stress out of traveling knowing that someone is looking out for you after a long uncomfortable flight. The cars are clean and spacious, the water is a nice touch, and we really appreciate the excellent personalized service. Limo 5 Star is our go to choice anytime we are in the area and need a car. We will never need to switch car companies again. Nice job again! Thank you again!!! Keep up the excellent customer focus and service! read more

I ordered a limo from for my girlfriends from Chicago as a surprise and it went smooth! L5S saved me in front of my friends who I didn't have time to pick up because of last minute changes. So I looked up limo services in bay area and this one was looked reasonable. They obviously have different cars and limos so i ordered a limo and as they promise the car was clean, driver professional and really helpful (made sure to pick up my friends without any problems with locating, timing especially, gps, or dropping off). Thank you for saving my day! read more

Found Limo 5 Star on Yelp with great reviews. Used them (hybrid) on return flight from SFO to the South Bay a few weeks ago. My flight landed an hour late. They were well aware of this because they track flights..whew! Very convenient as my driver was in the cell phone waiting lot. After I picked up my luggage, I called and he came to the terminal in a manner of minutes. Car was clean and comfortable. Driver was friendly and professional. I will definitely use them again! read more

Wow! Just wow! What exceptional service this company provides. Sam was simply awesome with handling all of our needs. We used this company for arrival to and from the SFO airport. Sam went above and beyond to make our transition to and from the airport as smoothly as possible. I only had to mention one time that we needed a car seat for our 3 year old. He made sure one was provided for us. Sam also provided videos for our 3 year old to watch to keep her entertained while driving. That was very nice. The Suburban was very clean and very classy. It was also very comfortable. I will continue to use this company for airport transportation and wine tours! Thank you Sam! read more

There is a good reason that they are 5 stars from mostly everyone. On a recent trip back to the East cost, I called L5S because the limo service I used in the past is no longer servicing my area. I called these people for the first time a few days before needing a ride from San Ramon to the San Francisco airport. They quoted a very good price (better than most others. Right on time, they show up at the house in a new, clean, high end town car and the trip to the airport was pleasant. On our return trip, a driver was patiently waiting in the cell phone call area and ready to pick us up. Again the ride was great and both drivers were very professional. I will be using them again very soon and highly recommend L5S. read more

We purchased the $120 for 4 hour limo ride on livingsocial for our napa trip. We had such a great time that we had to extend for another hour! Gratuity + fees was about $87 and each additional hour was $110 (everything included). Our driver, Sunny (?), was punctual and friendly. He took us to our destinations and was always ready whenever we called for pickup. Ernesto, the sales manager, was also easy to talk to when we had to book this trip. Everything went smoothly and I would HIGHLY recommend this company for any events! They also had a bottle of sparkling wine for us in the limo =) They also give you a 15 minute grace period in case there's traffic so you don't get charged for a whole hour if you're 5 minutes late coming back. This was much fun and we hope to ride again with Limo 5 Star! read more

Lately it the service/reliability has dropped off. My business has a corporate account and has had issues with the last 3 of 3 reservations. The latest was last week. Had a reservation for 11:00OM, for which I received a confirmation email. However, the car hadn't arrived by 11:15 so I called to check status. Was told somehow the reso didn't hit their system and that they had no drivers available. They offered no solution (what about sending an Uber and covering the charge?). So, now 20 minutes after the car should have been at my house I was left scrambling to find a solution. Nice people and good prices, but we are pulling our business. read more

If I could put 10 stars I would! First, from home, Ernest the office manager, was SO amazing. Patient, reliable, honest, and fair. My wife and I needed several different times in a five day period, and he put us in a Beautiful Escalade. The car smelled brand new, He put us for our whole trip with George. George had as much fun going out of his way to catch perfect pictures as we did. His energy and smile added to our very special trip. I would recommend this company for any occasion. Pick up and drop off at Airport, 10 hours to Napa, and tour of city. Thanks again Limo 5 Star read more

Had a wonderful ride to the airport; professional, clean and on time. On the return the ride-not so great. Sorry Ryan. I know the weather and traffic weren't cooperating, but having to cross over to the taxi lane and have you reach over to get my luggage (1 piece) and then to make it easier for you (in the rain by the way) run to an area where I could get in the taxi was VERY unprofessional. I was cold and wet and you were the guy who was supposed to make this adventure safe, dry and NOT charge me more than I paid for the ride to the airport. If you had picked me up at door 5, like you were contracted to do and not complain that there was a lot of traffic I would have gladly paid the extra $7.00 because of the inconvenience of Mother Nature. Sorry I had no control over the weather and United's legendary tardiness. read more

We used Limo 5 Star for a recent trip to Napa. In the beginning, it seemed that everything was arranged with no problems. However, the problems began when that day and have continued ever since. I'm sure they do well for short drives to the airport but when driving for hours in Napa, they lack. Our driver was pleasant and courteous but we were all girls with heels. Since they gave us an SUV, we had to repeatedly ask for him to help us out of the car (once or twice is understandable but it got old really fast). Then, when we knew the correct route, he would unfortunately not pay attention, having to then turn around and wait in a large pile of cars to get back on the right road, making us late for time frames. In my opinion, this blame cannot be solely on the driver but also on those that trained him. When we got back to the hotel (15 minutes late), the company tried to charge us for 2 hours! When we called to get the problem resolved, the driver got back in the car and tried to leave without anything being resolved! This is the beginning of where it went super downhill. I have been cc'd on the various emails that Sunny the manager sent since he was trying to threaten to post video posting (which is actually against the law unless the people in it consent to it). When we figured that matter was done, they tried to double charge us! It is completely unprofessional for a company to do these things. I understand there were some mishaps that happened on this trip and I was willing to not say anything figuring that the company would resolve it maturely. However, after all that occurred, I felt it necessary to write this review. Limo 5 Star, you could have been classier about this but took it there. This make 5 Star Limo a 1 star. read more

Our driver was 30 minutes late to take us to SFO. We had to call several times to find out where he was, and the driver made up various excuses about his GPS not working. We live five minutes (and only three turns) off the freeway, so it's not exactly rocket science. To the driver's credit, he took $30 off the fare, but it's not a worthwhile tradeoff if it means you're going to miss your flight. To cap it off, when I asked for a receipt, the driver said he couldn't give me one, but could mail one to me. Seriously? -update #1- Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, it does. The owner just called (my cell phone!) and harassed me about my Yelp review, claiming that I was 10 minutes late (to my own house?). In fact, his driver was the one who was 30 minutes late for the pickup, and my wife and I were ready and waiting when he arrived. The owner's reply: the driver couldn't have been late because he was on the phone with me trying to figure out how to get to my house. This makes no sense, and is basically an admission that he was in fact late. Super late pickup + calling my cell afterward to blame me about it = double not cool -update #2- Just got yet another email from the business (at least the third), this time claiming that google maps doesn't show the right directions to my house--even though it does. If only these guys were as dedicated to on-time pickups as they are to harassing former customers... read more

I found Limo 5 Star on Yelp and pre-booked with them to pick me up at the SFO airport and take me to my hotel downtown. I had selected their service because they offer infant and toddler car seats. Their rates were reasonable and were less expensive than another company I had found on Yelp. The driver picked me up on time and was polite and professional. The Camry was clean. Great experience. I re-booked with them for my trip back to the airport a few days later. They were very accommodating in changing my pickup time when I learned that my flight was going to be delayed. They sent a different driver from my first trip. John was very friendly and I enjoyed chatting with him. He did make a wrong turn after arriving at the airport and had to circle back around. He said he doesn't drive to the airport that often, and apologized. It was not a big deal, and I still arrived with plenty of time for my flight. He provided bottled water, which was a nice touch. The hybrid car was clean. I felt that the price I paid was a very good value and would use this company again when I return to SF in a couple months. The booking agent on the phone was polite and professional too. Thank you for the great service! read more
