I think I've made it my mission to hit every cool coffee spot within a 2 mile radius of my house. I've seen this one when I drive up and down Eastern multiple times, but never stopped in. Today I decided to take the plunge! There's plenty of parking, so you don't have to worry about being too far from the front door. When you get your coffee and food items. Items. May want to just sit down inside and have a cup of coffee in your food, the vibe is very mellow, and super inviting. The place has a great mural on the far wall, with some wood geometric patterns on top of it. It. Definitely a chill place. When I went in, there were people working, reading, and just hanging out. They had some Lo-Fi music playing which was really nice and added to the relaxing feel. I ordered the bourbon vanilla latte, and a package of the matcha crinkles. Fair warning, they do not have extra bourbon for you to put in the vanilla bourbon latte. But I decided to push through anyway. The people behind the counter super friendly and just as chill as the rest of the atmosphere. I really enjoyed it, as sometimes you go to places where it feels like they're trying to get you in and out like a fast food joint. Joint. Aware coffee. It's almost as if they're inviting you to come in and relax with them. The bourbon vanilla latte was really good. Had just a hint of bourbon to it, but I will say the star of the show was the matcha crinkles. These things are off the chart! I asked the girl behind the counter about them, and they are made fresh daily and brought in... And you can totally taste that! They come in a pack of four, so I two there and took two home for later. Bottom line? I'm currently on a personal mission to find the best local coffee spots around town, and Aware Coffee caught my eye while I was visiting another business in the same strip mall. I honestly didn't even realize it was there before, which made me curious enough to circle back and give it a try. I arrived just before 8:00 AM and was surprised to see an empty parking lot. For a moment I wondered if they were closed, but they were open. When I walked in, I was greeted right away by the barista, who kindly asked me to watch my step since she had just mopped the floors. She was genuinely friendly and welcoming, especially after I mentioned it was my first visit. The space has a moody, artsy vibe. It feels intentional and creative without being overdone. It was very quiet while I was there, which actually made it feel like a hidden little work haven. The barista recommended the cookie butter tiramisu coffee, which she said is a favorite. I usually love trying staff picks, but I'm not much of a cookie butter or tiramisu person and was worried it might be too sweet. Ironically, I ordered a caramel latte instead. Since I was the only one there, my drink came out almost immediately. And I have to say, it was incredibly smooth. No bitterness, no harsh aftertaste. Just well-balanced and easy to drink. The to-go cup itself didn't feel as elevated as some other local spots, but they had a unique lid I hadn't seen before that worked well and was actually a nice touch. What stood out most was how calm and quiet the environment felt. Some larger coffee shops can be chaotic and hard to focus in, but this one would be ideal for bringing a laptop and getting real work done. Before I left, I mentioned I hadn't realized they were tucked back there, and the barista shared they've been open for about three years and have a second location in town. It definitely feels a bit hidden, which may explain why it flies under the radar. Overall, great service, a smooth and enjoyable latte, and a peaceful atmosphere. Cute place and liked what we got! We came in on a Monday around 10am for coffee before our errands. This place is quite big! It looked like there were some people working, a little alcove with people as well, I could see working from here. We were the only ones in line and 1 girl working the whole place. We didn't have an issue waiting or anything, just felt bad for her, but she handled everything perfectly and was quick! I got a tiramisu holiday iced coffee and it was strong. Once you mix everything up it was good! I also got the tiramisu like stacked donut. I wasn't sure I was going to fully like it, but it was yummy! Definitely had a croissant like texture and was covered in sugar, heaven. I've been to the Aware in the north Centennial area part of town a looooong time ago so I was really happy to see the one in Anthem, since it' closer to home. The ladies that work there are super friendly and helpful. Everything we've ordered has been delicious.. my only gripe is that they keep running out of Vietnamese cold brew :( ...(insert lots of sad face emoji's).... please.. keep more in stock because that's my favorite drink! My hubby and I stopped by on 11/27/25 for a quick pick-me-up, and ordered their pistachio matcha latte (for him) and pistachio latte (for me, I needed a strong shot of espresso). Hubby also ordered two pastries on impulse. Their almond croissant was stuffed with a creamy something... to me it tasted like a cross between marzipan and almond butter. Then there was something that was akin to a cronut, stuffed with a pumpkin filling and topped with an icing that tasted like a pumpkin cream cheese. Both were sooo good. Stopped in on a Sunday to grab a couple drinks. Aware Coffee is tucked in one of the shopping strip building on S. Eastern Ave. plenty of parking and entering the restaurant reveals a lot of space to relax and enjoy your drink or snacks. The servers are nice and the space is pretty quiet. Unfortunately, on this first trip, while the drinks themselves looked good, they were not very good. The Thai Tea was pretty weak and the Matcha was really not good. Decided to finally give this place a try and I feel like I have been missing out on a very close by hidden gem. I was a little hesitant on going because they don't have a huge breakfast menu, but I found that even though the menu is small, the food was absolutely incredible. I ordered the make it balsamic toast, and the caramelized onion jelly was super flavorful, it made the toast. And the lemon ginger dressing that I opted to go for on the salad, holy hell, it was delicious. The mochi donuts were fantastic. We decided to grab a half dozen to bring home to friends that were coming over and everybody raved about how good they were. The tiramisu, I believe it's a limited flavor, is so creamy and delicious. We got a couple coffees which whatever brand they use was really good. I got the cookie butter tiramisu latte which sounds like it would be sickening sweet, but it wasn't. I found it to be a really good ratio without even having to taper it down. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. They were great at answering questions for us first timers and being friendly. The inside has a few really long dining hall style tables. They also have a bar that you can sit in that faces the outside. A very simple design inside but efficient. The ceilings are very tall, which added to a nice look. I'm really happy that this place is close to the house because it's somewhere I feel we will go frequently. read more

We visited the café around 12:30 PM on Monday afternoon. There were only two people inside studying, so it was fairly quiet. As first-time customers, we expected at least a greeting or some kind of welcome. Unfortunately, no one acknowledged us when we walked in--we didn't hear a single word until we placed our order. To be honest, the staff working at that time didn't offer a warm or friendly experience. Good customer service starts with basic friendliness, and that was definitely lacking. Attitude and energy matter, especially in hospitality. A more positive and welcoming vibe could really improve guests' experiences--and might even earn more tips. I really don't like making reviews when I'm unsatisfied with the business... but since I've been coming here for months now because I like how spacious and less busy it is. I can enjoy coffee, the food and actually work in quiet. But things changed. My favorite drink is the salted caramel latte and the sandwiches plus their salad is great to me... But the last few times I've visited, customer service has been really bad. I couldn't enter my rewards number and then it felt I was rushed when there was nobody in there. This place is cute. High ceilings. Lots of long tables. I went in because I heard the Vietnamese coffee was good. I love Phin coffee: Vietnamese coffee filtered through a Phin while it drips onto condensed milk, mixed to a beautiful caramel color and then poured over ice. This is not it. When I asked the gentleman behind the counter if they used Robusta beans he said he didn't know. That should have been my cue not to order it, but curiosity got the best of me since others said they liked it. Unfortunately, not only did they forget my order but after they helped everyone who ordered except me. I had to repeat my order. While watching them make my order, I realized they had a premade batch (no Phin) and instead of condensed milk, it looked really watery...more like evaporated milk consistency. Two different things. Sure enough, taste was acidic not smooth like Robusta beans and whatever the "milk" was, it just didn't do the coffee justice. Now, if you're not used to good Vietnamese coffee, this is passable. I'm giving them a 3 for the aesthetics of the cafe itself and they did have a good mochi donut. If you're looking for a better representation of Vietnamese coffee, go to Pho Saigon where they actually use a drip or Pho Saigonese or Phin Smith. read more

When I am in different areas of town, and I have some time, I always look for a different coffee shop I haven't tried. Today, I opted to try Aware Coffee. This is definitely a place you need to be "aware" of before heading out. Its location does not face Eastern, so you can't just stumble upon it unless you're already visiting a business in the surrounding business area. From the outside, they have a sign but the windows are very dark so it almost looks closed from the street. When you enter in, the space is really open with long communal tables, some bar seating by the window, and a separate group area on the opposite side of a half wall. The decor is intentionally sparse, with the focal highlight being the large mural on one wall. Previous reviewers commented on how this is a perfect place to study. While it is not conveniently located near UNLV, I can see how the spacious tables would accommodate spreading out work to study. Teachers would also like the space to grade. My daughter said the lack of distracting decor would help her focus. I found the lack of decor to be uninviting..but I suppose my coffee seeking experience is more traditional than modern. When we arrived, there were not many people, but it did start to fill in when we left. There was only one barista. She was really friendly and accommodating. I always order a traditional drip coffee, and usually a latte. The drip coffee was very bitter and needed entire side of milk, 3 Splendas still had a bite. Some may prefer that flavor, it's not for me. It could also be that I prefer a sweeter sugar substitute. I usually use Sweet n Low, and they didn't have that. My initial cup was cold, and not because I had used too much milk. It was literally the bottom of the pot. I asked the barista for a new cup and she brewed a new pot altogether. The food choices are limited. We ordered a breakfast burrito. It was not bad, but wasn't remarkable either. It was basically a reheated frozen burrito. The highlight of the visit was the Iced Cookie Butter Tiramisu Latte. The sweetness of the latte and cream foam helped tame the bitterness of the coffee. It was not too sweet either, just make sure to blend the flavors together. Overall, I could see this as a local place to get a signature latte if I lived in the area and needed a quiet place to work. I wouldn't classify it as a remarkable coffee experience though. At $30 for 2 people, it's a little pricey for what you get. First learned of this cool coffee shop after it popped up on my Instagram featuring May 4 Star Wars themed mochi donuts! Like are you kidding me, I immediately added it to my calendar to make sure I didn't miss these donuts. However of course we procrastinated that morning and almost missed these and got the last donut on display. It was so worth it tho and even Obi-Wan Kenobi would approve of the Storm Trooper white chocolate mochi donut, pic attached. Ok enough about donuts, the coffee is equally as good. Aware is literally my favorite coffee and my favorite study spot in the whole wide world. The playlists are always fire, and there are always so many places to sit and get work done. The tables are big with lots of seating options and outlets, and also wifi. On top of that, the employees are always so friendly and accommodating. One time they made a small mistake on my drink, and I told them it was okay and they didn't have to remake it, then a few minutes later they brought me a new drink, remade to my specifications! So sweet and unnecessary. My absolute favorite thing here is the cold foam. Holy moly, I've tried every drink with the cold foam at this place and it blows me away. The cold foam cookie butter latte, pumpkin cold foam latte, and especially the tiramisu matcha latte. I love them all and have to spend so long deciding what to choose each time I come here. The only thing stopping me from coming here every single day is the price. I find it to be a little bit steep for coffee compared to other places in the area - for a large cold foam latte with alt milk and tip, it's pretty darn close to nearing $10. But if I'm at Aware studying all day, it's definitely worth it for the quality of the drinks and the good vibes of the study space. Love this place!! read more

Well guys I've done it! I've found THE coffee of my dreams. I've always been a latte connoisseur and the Honey Lavender Latte is to die for. I go out of my way to come to Aware as someone who lives about 20 mins away. After going to Aware I went to other coffee shops and tried their honey lavender lattes and theirs goes unmatched. My husband has tried some of their other lattes and loves the Golden Latte! Alright let's move on to food! Their donuts and treats are delish but the real must have is their breakfast burrito! You'll thank me after you try it. I love coming in and grabbing a cup of coffee with my girlfriends or with my kiddo. It's so clean and a perfect place to spend a little bit of time away from home. WOW! I've tried matcha only at Starbucks and wasn't a fan. Was recommended this place bc of the quality and yummy flavor of tiramisu topping and let me say this DID NOT DISAPPOINT! My husband got the iced pistachio latte ($5.50) with almond milk ($0.75) and noted that he liked his drink on the sweeter side. I thought it was too sweet, but he liked it like that. I also wasn't a fan of their pistachio flavor - tasted a bit artificial to me. I got a large iced pumpkin tiramisu latte ($7.25) to share with my cousin. It was better tasting than the pistachio latte and had a good balance between the tiramisu cream and the coffee. I went to a few coffee shops in Vegas already and they just taste very different from coffee in California.
