The customer service to help get the wheel repaired the first time was outstanding. Unfortunately the other three wheels didn't match the new wheel and it was off balance. We took it back in after speaking to Joe, who said "yes bring it in, we will be happy to take care of it for you and make it right." We took it back and the staff sent it out again to be fixed. This company offers great customer service, the way I think every company should run. Kudos to Joe and the staff who work at this store. You all have been amazing. Update: my partner got the suitcase back today. All 4 wheels are now perfect and they fixed the handle we never mentioned. Wow! This company amazes me and I am so thankful to see good customer service in action. Way to go Samsonite! Thank you from us both.

They replied with an email stating that it was a "normal wear and tear". How could it be a normal wear and tear when my luggage zippers were working perfectly fine before I checked it in for transit. This is the first time I checked in this luggage as it is a carry-on luggage and I have only used it several times so it's still in a fairly new condition. I only checked it in this time due to a full flight. I emailed them again and explained about this and they returned my email blaming it on the design of my luggage zipper. I can almost say that most of the zippers are design the same way as any other luggages. I have traveled to different countries with bigger size luggages that have similar zipper design and none of them were ever damaged! They just don't want to be responsible for the repair.

According to Ryann's Luggage all replacements would be executed in 7-10 days. Today's date is 1/20/2025. Still nothing!!! I have called and left messages as well as send emails to customer service with no reply. In my opinion this is a poorly run operation. The company does not reply to emails or phone calls. This does not build credibility. It has been over a month and still NO REPLACEMENT!!!!

She said they are just down the street, have better prices, and if I don't find anything, I can always come back to SM. She was so right! I was about to purchase a carry-on at SM for around $100 and found almost the exact same style and color at Luggage Unlimited for $40, unbelievable! They are a wholesaler that has been in business for 17 years that also sells to the public, and they have the largest selection of bags I've ever seen. They have luggage, make-up totes, backpacks (adult, child, and hiking) picnic baskets, compartmentalized lunch bags, wallets with wrist straps, tons of bows, and a large selection of crystals for bedazzling all of your purchases. They do have a smallish selection of nice handbags, but most of their handbags are the slouchy cloth type. This store is huge, cluttered, and packed. It is more of a small warehouse type of place, no frills. Be prepared to spend a lot of time here. They don't have a public restroom, so take care of your biz before you arrive.

While I recognize the annoyance of such a large group being in the seating area near the store and can understand the need for them to disperse, the actions taken we're unprofessional and overly dramatic. In past visits to this mall, I have noted scowls and less than welcome looks from the staff at this store but dismissed them as perhaps just being their resting face. From this recent incident, I now wonder if it is sincere misanthropy.

(Five stars actually, but still rating four stars here for this location because did I mention the luggage tag issue?) I have traveled with these suitcases (the Large and Medium) internationally and domestically multiple times plus lots of roadtrips. I recently packed four pieces of my grandmothers pottery (in separate boxes with padding) and it all arrived totally intact after a 14 hour flight. AWAY luggage has proven itself to be super dependable, durable and trustworthy. Rolls beautifully, handles still go up and down smoothly, zippers and fasteners still work perfectly, and yes the exterior attracts scuff marks, but to me that's a badge of travel honor. Still won't set foot in that store ever again, but this company gets a lot of credit for a great product! Worth every penny and then some.
