I trust this shop with my wallet, my car, and my life. You should too. I got quotes from many places on the NW side, and Avondale was the cheapest and most transparent in their pricing. Also, the experience I had with them overall was phenomenal. At every point in the process, from my initial walkthrough and estimate, to drop off and pickup, I was continually impressed by how kind and communicative the staff were. Nino was always so clear, kind, and ready to spend all of his time with me to help make sure the process was smooth and painless. He called me even when he didn't have any new updates, so I wasn't left wondering -- I really appreciated that. When my car was ready for pickup, it was the day of my brothers wedding, and they made sure to not let the insurance and car rental company know that; they also convinced my insurance that the scratches on the rest of the bumper (from everyday parking) should be covered. I don't know how much Nino is getting paid, but, whatever it is, it's not enough! He made this normally dreadful and expensive experience so amazing. I cannot recommend this shop enough.

To say this place is fantastic is a serious understatement! My car had been hit while parked outside my house, the whole left side needed replacing, I couldn't even open the doors. I had just bought it 3 months ago with 400 miles on it, I was devastated. I saw the awesome reviews for Avondale Collision and went the next day. Jose completely took care of everything and made all the paperwork SO easy! My car was done almost a week sooner than originally estimated and looks even BETTER than when I drove it off the lot! Jose even came in on his day off to hand my car back to me, that's how important good work and customer service is to them. They say their goal is to have you fall in love with your car all over again, and wow, that is so true! I cannot stress enough how much of a good decision it is to go here. They are professional, extremely kind, efficient, have fantastic communication and do completely stunning work. I will tell anyone I know to go here, if I could give 10 stars I would!

This place is across town from me, but the trip was well worth the find. I called with my inquiries and spoke to Oliver. An appointment was made, and I sent links to D.I.Y. Videos to help streamline the installation process. Oliver was very straightforward. During the 3 days my car was being serviced, he kept me updated on the progress. This seems to be underrated with most businesses, but it's very important to a customer because nobody likes being left in the dark, especially when their car is left in the hands of someone else. Updates help build transparency and reduce the perception of being taken advantage of. Good communication encourages repeat business and referrals. It also leads to positive online reviews like this one. The installation work done on my car was superb. Everything looked like a factory install.

They handled my issue (scuffed paint from rubbing a post on the side of the car and tar on the hood of the car) same-day with impressive speed and professionalism. While other shops quoted me over $1,000, Carrectly completed the work for just $80 -- I even offered $100 because I couldn't believe the value. They were honest, transparent, and didn't upsell or inflate the price. The quality of the work was excellent -- even my wife commented on how great the result looked. If you're looking for a team you can trust that delivers quality work at a fair price, I highly recommend Carrectly. This was the best auto service experience I've ever had.

Rude. Unable to answer basic questions. A "quick drop off" with a "five minute wait for a rental…read morecar" turned into an hour of confusion, incompetence and personal attack. I was pushed to this location by the lincolnwood location. i took my car there for an assesment on a different day. when asked about why i was dropping the car off, i said "it should all be in the assesment from the previous location. they told me that they arent affiliated and that the process would happen again because they don't share information for some reason. they then said my car was going to another shop on division because this location was too busy for the next three weeks. they i was asked to sign documents for the work at the division shop that couldn't be done at rockwell. when i questioned how division would get the info from rockwell, when rockwell couldn't get the info from lincolnwood, they called me "difficult" and told me i could go elsewere if i didn't like it. i was speaking with the person at the front desk, and when she couldn't answer questions with anything other than "that's not my responsibility" i was verbally attacked by three beefy dudes from the desks behind that maybe need to tone down their testosterone treatments. they offered no help, but instead threats. they talked over me, shouted me down and told me I was the one that needed to calm down. I was verbally attacked by three men and a woman at the same time because none of them could answer my questions, then was tone policed by one til he was tired out finally done yelling at me. All this and they arent even going to fix my car at this location. I could've dropped the car at the original location (which was far more courteous and knowledgeable) if you need to take a car to crash champions, DO NOT take it to this location. Will update when damages are fixed. UPDATE: the entire experience at the rockwell location was so poorly handled by everyone involved, i decided to not let them service my vehicle. do not go here if you can avoid it. they are rude and attack as a group when they feel irritated.

When I called the second time the individual I talked to - Carlos - stated that I had already received an email (when I had not). When I told him I had not gotten an email he became defensive and said he would send it again- this time I actually got the email (checked my inbox initial email was never sent when he said it was). When I called back to schedule drop off, they said they can not take my car for two weeks from now?? When I got the quote I was initially told they could take my car early next week. When I asked to speak to a manager the women on the phone stated he's not available- when I asked to leave a message she seemed unamused. Overall, this is the worst customer service I have ever had from a body shop. I would not recommend this place to anybody. I can not even imagine why you would risk bringing your car to a shop that is unwilling to prioritize communication

I can't say enough great things about Avondale Auto Repair, Nathan, Rick and their staff…read more As a first-time customer, I came in with what I thought was a simple issue--my 2017 Toyota RAV4 key fob suddenly stopped working. I'd replaced the battery before, so I tried that again... nothing. My (very mechanically inclined) husband tried too--still nothing. That kicked off the search for a replacement, and wow--what a frustrating experience. The dealership quoted me $600 to replace and program a new key. Automotive locksmiths were all over the place--$180, $250--and the whole process felt vague and transactional, like you couldn't get a straight answer without jumping through hoops. Then I found Avondale Auto Repair through the Costco Auto Program--and everything changed. Rick answered the phone, and within seconds I felt reassured. He was straightforward, knowledgeable, and refreshingly honest. Instead of trying to sell me something, he explained the pros and cons--how aftermarket keys often don't last, and how they source directly from the dealer but can usually save customers about $100. No pressure. Just real, helpful information. When I came in, that same feeling continued. The shop itself is clean, bright, and welcoming--nothing like the typical auto repair environment. Nathan (Rick's brother-in-law) was at the front desk and immediately made us feel comfortable. Friendly, genuine, and incredibly helpful. Before recommending anything, he opened up my key and inspected it to confirm it wasn't just a battery issue. That alone told me everything--I wasn't being upsold. They were actually trying to help. Then Rick came back from lunch and did the same thing again, just to double check. I paid a deposit and they said they'd call once they got the key from the dealership. It took a few days. Even though they were short-staffed they week of my FOB order, Nathan handled everything with professionalism and kindness. He called three different dealerships to track down my key (since it was out of stock everywhere), coordinated the order, and made the whole process seamless. When I came back to drop off my car, even the staff helping me park were warm and courteous--it's those small touches that really stand out. We used to have a go-to repair shop nearby, but after a change in ownership, it just hasn't been the same. Now, we've found our new place. Avondale Auto Repair didn't just fix a problem--they earned our trust. And that's everything. That's how you do it, Nathan and Rick!
