Used Glass.com to submit a bid request and out of the ten that showed up, Avondale Auto Glass was the lowest. They came out, replaced the windshield and did a good, thorough job at almost half the cost of Safelite. No complaints and I would easily use them again. read more

Extremely dissatisfied with the quality of service they provide they have managed to scratch the outside of my windscreen while using their blade to cut the film to size to put inside. It's a brand new vehicle that cost almost US$130,000 The job was tinting The windscreen the first installation they did had multiple bubbles and dust and debris that needed the entire film to be removed and redone and even the second job has debris in it and air bubbles that they have managed to cut the film to release extremely poor job very poorly maintained premises. I would never recommend this place to anybody who has a premium vehicle. read more

AVONDALE AUTO GLASS - THEY DAMAGED OUR VEHICLE My spouse brought our Lexus to Avondale Auto Glass on September 30, 2024, for a window tint, and it turned into an absolute nightmare. Within a few days, the tint on the passenger side window started bubbling and ripping. We waited the recommended 3 days plus another 3 days before rolling down the window, but after the first time, the tint caught and tore. I contacted the business on Monday, October 7, and they told me to bring the vehicle in for repair. As I was working, I had my spouse go in again where the wait was over an hour and a half, only for them to tell my spouse that the tint pro was on vacation and to come back the next day. To make things worse, they damaged and etched the paint on our passenger door. When my spouse returned on Tuesday, they re-tinted the window and attempted to buff out the scratches, but they made the damage even worse! There were marks all down the passenger door. My spouse was facing difficulties with them, so I left work and headed over there. When I arrived to try to resolve the situation, the staff became incredibly defiant and refused to take responsibility for the additional damage. I mentioned I'd call the police to file a report, and they basically said, "Go ahead." So I did. After things calmed down, we looked at the car again, and the second tint attempt on the passenger window was horrible. One of the staff offered to fix it again, but I was worried about further damage. I only would agree if I could observe them re-tinting it, which they refused. We left with more damage than when we arrived, and about 30 minutes later, I received a call from the police officer informing me that the business had issued a no-trespass order, meaning neither me nor my spouse could return, voiding their so-called "lifetime warranty." I asked the police officer to call them on my behalf to request a refund, but the business refused. This is the worst service I have ever experienced. They damaged our car and showed no accountability. If you care about your vehicle, I would recommend avoiding Avondale Auto Glass at all costs. read more

Here is my experience: On 08/07/23, I had my windshield replaced on my Toyota Tacoma by your business, Avondale Auto Glass. I was recommended by a friend to go to your business and noticed your website stated, "Our Experts have over 10 years of experience in the industry and we can guarantee we will get the job done in a professional and timely manner. We offer lifetime warranty in workmanship and we are licensed and insured." With that in mind, I had no doubt that my truck was going to be in good hands and your business was going to get the job done right. I have not had my windshield replaced by any other business since I last visited Avondale Auto Glass. Both Arizona and California have a very dry climate for the most part, so I did not experience any air/water leaks during that time. However, with the recent rains, that changed. On 02/01/24, my truck started to experience some electrical issues, which caused me to call Toyota and schedule the initial appointment. On 02/02/24, I was unable to start my truck, so I had to have it towed to I-10 Toyota located in Indio, California. According to Toyota, the malfunction resulted from the aftermarket windshield being poorly sealed, causing water intrusion on the lower left corner of the windshield inside the vehicle. To replace the damaged parts the total cost would be $2,268.39 in total including service fees. The new windshield installation would cost $1,317.06 in total including service fees. Toyota estimated the entire cost to replace my windshield and the damaged parts to be $3,635.50. I contacted Avondale Auto Glass regarding this issue as soon as I found out and spoke with Aldo. I remembered your website stating, "We offer lifetime warranty in workmanship and we are licensed and insured", so I believed your business would take responsibility for the damages your work had caused my truck. On 02/06/24 I spoke to Aldo and explained to him what was going on via phone call. Aldo requested more evidence of your shop being at fault and I forwarded everything he requested from Toyota in a timely manner to the email he provided to me (avondaleautoglass1@gmail.com). On 02/07/24, Aldo was contacted by my service representative at I-10 Toyota, Marcos Hernandez, regarding the damages your business' after market windshield has caused my truck. Since then, I have personally contacted Avondale Auto Glass and spoke with Aldo on 02/06/24, 02/07/24, 02/09/24, and 02/12/24 trying to get this problem resolved. On 02/10/24, I received an email from Ana Arroyo stating, "According to our records it has been more than 6 months since the windshield replacement. When there is a water/air leak, you can tell usually in the first 2 to 4 weeks. We can not assume that responsibility due to the time that has passed and we do not know if the windshield was ever replaced again during that time frame. Again, we are sorry but we cannot assume responsibility over this matter." I did not appreciate Ana Arroyo for defaming my character by suggesting I was being dishonest when she stated in her email, "we do not know if the windshield was ever replaced again during that time frame." Again, I have not had my windshield replaced by any other business since I last visited Avondale Auto Glass on 08/07/23. To add to that, both Arizona and California have a very dry climate for the most part and I did not experience any air/water leaks during that time . After having my service representative at I-10 Toyota contact your shop and having all the information I provided to Avondale Auto Glass via phone call and email, I was still told your business was not going to assume responsibility for the damages. My car was broken into and the side window was completely smashed! I had called around with my insurance company on a Sunday, no less and found Avondale Auto Glass was open and available or only for windshields, although not for side windows... Make sure to always have insurance kids! Luckily, they were able to pull one, from the downtown warehouse and get it, to MY workplace promptly at 7:30am! Talk about phenomenal customer service & mobile installation to boot! The installer, Kevin was done in less than 30 w/ great attention to detail, as well. I had to bring it to the facility, in order to get the correct tint amount procured & guess what?... There was Kevin, at the ready to knock it out & finish the Vaccuum of the old glass, too! Alex, the owner was extremely nice, helpful & professional as he explained the revolutionary new methods they use for ceramic tint that absorbs the sun; we definitely need this, living in Arizona! I've had three vehicles tinted here and they have done an excellent job in the past. I mentioned that I needed to get a windshield replaced and they offered to put a clear/IR film on the windshield if I had my insurance replace it thru them. I made an appointment and have been waiting for an hour and a half and they are just starting to remove the old windshield. I was told it would take two an a half hours because of the calibrations after installation. Last time I looked, the new windshield was not present, much less tinted, so my belief is that I was lied to about the timeline. I really don't like being lied to so my next vehicle will probably be tinted elsewhere. Integrity means quite a bit to me. So... They finished the windshield and it looks great but, the kid doing the work broke the cover for the wires and lane keeping camera. I wish it would have ended there. He tried to surreptitiously fix it with super glue and black paint to no avail. Worse yet, he tried to do this over the driver's seat and dripped super glue in several spots on the pleather seat. The manager ordered a new cover and drove to my house and installed it. He also tried to clean/remove the super glue spots with nail polish remover then goo be gone which did not work. It did fade the pleather in the areas that he scrubbed. Supposedly, he is looking into getting my seat Reupholstered. I give them a zero star with the one star given solely due to past performances which were good but only involved tint. read more

I emailed for glass and also gave them my vin #, they gave me a price and I also asked if this was with calibration, and they said yes for $350.00, when I got there it went to $600.00 because they said I gave them wrong vin # not true, I said go ahead and do it, then they said my truck was messed up because they tried to check calibration and they said I have a problem with my truck, I went to Safelite glass today and got a new windshield and calibration for $525.00, I feel it was a bait and switch. read more

My windshield needed to be repaired again on and my Yukon AT4 was giving his guys such a hard time with calibration and he literally went above and beyond to make sure it got calibrated correctly by trying several windshields and even having the dealership check it out. Would not go again!!! Not a good experience. First of all , I made an appointment was so happy they can come to my home . They told me it would get here by 4pm . They didn't arrive till 7 almost 8 it was already night time I was so worried because because the 2 young guys were not going to be able to see my dad even went outside and I told them maybe we can do it another day but they said they had light . No light at all they were using there cell phones as a flash light !!!! I regret it. First off one of the plastic trim peace that goes inside under the windshield flew off. I have a 2023 how are u guys not going to be careful and install properly ' And then the glass inside wasn't clean I have cameras near my windshield and sometimes my safety features won't work because they didn't clean it good. I might have to go back to complain and tell them they need to re install. But I don't know if I want to deal with them again. 2nd I got a chip rock that same week and the guy said I can bring it in. They did an awful job!!! So much glue it's like they rushed it. I could have went to auto zone and bought the kit and do a way better job!! I just bought a new truck for my Business ( Maxx Hauling LLC ) and will be traveling all over the country . I recently had a windshield put in my other dually here at Avondale Glass and remembered they did tint , I really dont want the hassel of being pulled over for this in Ca. the guys here at Avondale Glass recommended the Clear 75 tint which is a clear tint but keeps all the heat from coming in . I had them tint both front windows and the windshield, my truck stays way cooler and now the sun's not beating down on my legs or left arm. Replaced my windshield and had to go back more than a couple times. First time was because the weather strip came undone and they glued it back together. second time was because water was leaking through. And finally the final time they replaced the windshield completely. When arriving home I've noticed a crack/chip on the top of the windshield maybe during installation. A week later goes by and windshield cracked completely and that's when I gave up completely with this company. Had to get my windshield replaced through another company and they told me they installed the wrong size windshield and damaged the windshield clips but instead they glued it smh read more

The worker wet the whole truck instead of just the back window not sure why he had to wet the whole truck. Not only that he didn't clean the windows after he was done with the back window. Place is not professional at all returning someone's vehicle back in this condition. When I was waiting for my truck to be pulled up to the front I waited 10min. Gauged and dented the edges of the frame of the car that houses the windshield. They then attempted to cover up the damage they caused with body filler and by painting the area black. The car is silver. Also paid to have the window tinted. The tint has dozens of bubbles, gaps, and even tears. They tinted the window twice and the result was the same both times. Never seen anything that incompetent in my life. There are multiple reviews that reflect similar situations. These clowns are just backyard day laborers. These people barely speak English. There is not a single employee that was trained to perform the services offered at this business. The owner, Alejandro "Alex" Torres, initially took accountability for the damage and offered a refund when I advised him I have pictures of the car prior to his shop working on it and can prove they caused the damage.
