    This is what I'm being charge €450 for some short bread crumbs

    AVOID!! We arrived at Melbourne airport expecting to pick up a 7 seater suv as we pre booked weeks in advance to then be told there was nothing available for us? We then started to address we had paid in full and filled it all the requirements online and the lady was very rude and told us if we wanted she would upgrade us to a 12 seater bus but we would need to pay extra for all the extra seats? Why would we want to drive a 12 seater bus we only have 4 kids and at the point they are all sobbing and wanting to get out of the airport we spent an hour there trying to work out the next option when another man come over and offered us a lend of the mini van go to Orlando air port and swap it for the suv as they have 32 in stock. We did this it wasted the whole first day of the holiday when we arrived at Orlando they had no idea we was coming they had no suv available and couldn't help luckily some one returned there keys while we was there and they allowed us to take This as it was not cleaned but we was just happy to try get something and go to the hotel there were dents and marks over the car and the number plate was bent to one side we got them to write this all down. Considering they were very layed back about it all never did I think after coming home I would get a $450 valleting bill saying the car was left in such a bad mess. When I asked for the proof there is clean seats clean dash some biscuit crumbs on the floor and a toy wrapper this litrally happened in the airport while unloading our stuff I genuinely think it's disgusting how we have been treated and won't not use Avis again!

    Avis rented us a passenger van that was infested with roaches.

    Nice and helpful staff. Tiny location with less choices, but Vero is only a regional airport.

Manager not helpful either. Finally got my car 45 minutes after my arrival thanks to Janell. She got me my car and couldn't have been nicer. Five stars for her, none for everyone else. To make matters worse when I called Hertz main number they couldn't get anyone to the counter or expedite the process because the airport Hertz business is independent from Hertz. They did apologize several times though. Hertz is no longer #1.

They dont chk their cars and they dont care if you ll have an accident or lost your vacation days being on the phone, calling for their customer service... they fuck up our vacation for being the phone for almost half a day, going to their authorized shop also as they suggested only to find out the shop will not do the service even if you have the extra insurance coz they want you to bring the car back were you rented ....reason ...we did not rent it according to them in a corporate office ....we werent told it wasnt a corporate ....scumbug people ....

Someone picked me up at the dealership and brought me to their location on S Apollo. On arrival the staff were friendly, and the car they put me in was spotless inside and out, even smelled nice. When I was done with the car I dropped it off at the dealership and got my statement emailed to me a couple days later with no surprise fees or anything of the sort. I know my experience may not be the exact same as an airport rental, but I wanted to share since these reviews certainly had me concerned about how the rental would go. I understand that folks are more likely to leave a negative review when things go wrong than a positive when they go right, but the positives should also be shared.

They charged me $100 for cleaning the car because they said they found dog's hair in the car. I never had my dog in that car, my dog does not go out because she is aggressive. I requested pictures of the car inside to proof it and to this day they have not provided the pictures. I rather pay extra in another rental company that will be fair and honest than giving my money to a company that takes people's money because is the only way they can stay open. The only reason why I rented from them was because it was easier for our dealership that was fixing out Denali to get all the paperwork on time. But, I told the advisor at the dealership that I would never use this company ever again.

Even after maintaining the quality of the vehicle, ensuring the…read morevehicle was returned clean and full of gas, we were charged an additional fee which was not clearly explained at the time of reservation (online), point of pickup, or time of drop off. We used this rental due to the advertisement of 'unlimited mileage'. We picked up and dropped off the rental at the same location. We return the vehicle early, and the next day received a surprise bill for an additional $250. When I called to speak with the local office, I was passed to a manager, who tried claiming it was not possible to verify who I was to provide me the information I was asking for. After confirming I was on the rental agreement with her, she tried claiming because I was not on the original rental agreement she was unable to identify me. I pointed out not only did I have to provide my driver's license at the time of pickup, but I also had to sign the document. This did not matter to her. This company will charge you illegally without informing you of what the charges are, and then blame the charges on you when you call. Terrible customer service from the manager, Kelly. It is very important to notate, Kelly is the only individual who was rude. All other individuals that we interacted with were kind, though it does seem that potentially the company should provide more training as the manager seems to believe that her team should have let me know this. The manager also tried stating that the information was on the counter. Unfortunately at the time of pickup, no one from Dollar was available, so we were sent to the neighboring desk. We provided our documents, were up sold roadside assistance (which we purchased). We rented this vehicle for one specific purpose, and we're even discussing the purpose of a rental at the time of pickup. At no time where we informed this additional fee would apply. When I asked Kelly to speak with someone else, she informed me the only person higher than her is the owner of the company. Only after requesting to speak with someone else multiple times where we provided the customer service number by Kelly. She told us was absolutely nothing she could do to assist us. I will never use dollar again, and will be recommending any other rental company to anyone who ever asks me.
