I wanted to rent a jeep wrangler. I saw they were offered at this location. I called ahead to confirm. I was told yes go ahead and book online. I booked the rental of a 4 door jeep wrangler online for three days. With a two day notice. I was suppose to pick up at 10:00. When I arrived I was told that they did not have a jeep but they could put me into another vehicle. I specifically wanted a jeep 4 door wrangler so that I could drive it and see if I liked it before buying one. I had also planned to use it to go to jeep week in Daytona this weekend with my grandson. Very dissapointed. I was told that the person that had rented it didn't bring it back and had extended their rental for 2 more days. I was told there was another jeep but it had a flat tire. No one called me to save me a trip. When we were leaving another customer said that they did not have his reserved vehicle either. He said that we should not let them get away with it. It is an extremely busy location, so I can understand why wait times are long -- I'm sure they are always met with a group of people who aren't very patient. This car rental experience was eye-opening and in fact, kind of made me sick to my stomach. From the moment I called to verify reservation. People could not be nicer to me. I have rented here before privately and through my insurance company and never got such white glove treatment before. The last time my vehicle needed repair and my insurance company set up to pay for it I was driving a Lincoln a nice enough car. Same exact insurance company same exact coverage. I hated the vehicle that was given to me when I showed up, a cheap compact wasn't even in the same class of car, no one cared however, This time people jumped through hoops and bent over backwards to make sure everything was to my liking and I finally found out that your treatment and the rental you get are comparative to the vehicle you drive daily. Until I received acknowledgment of this fact from another car rental company that I had to call to find out if it could be true, I had no idea. This time my brand new top of the line Jaguar SUV had to go to the shop. I skipped the line of people waiting to pick up their rental cars and was given a premium SUV rental, I have not increased my coverage or my daily rental limit from the last time, I received calls every other day to make sure that I had no issues at all with the rental from the manager, and that has never happened ever before. Some people may think this is fantastic and it is ,but it should be afforded to all of their customers not just those who drive nicer cars. If you call one customer, you should call everyone that's just my opinion. Some people would give this a five star review because they got five star treatment. Completely rude set of individuals at the harbor city location in melbourne, florida. My grandma booked a rental days in advance for 2pm, which she had confirmed on the phone by an employee & via text confirmation as well. She spoke to the establishment around 1pm same day as pick up to ask them a question regarding her rental & not once was she informed that her 2pm time was "after hours". We start driving there expected to arrive around exactly 2pm, which was when her confirmed rental time was. My grandma was nervous they would turn her away when she arrived, so she called around 1:50pm and the man on the phone reassured her MULTIPLE times that they would still help her when we got there. Well we pull in at 2:01pm and there's a gentleman locking the door as my grandma is walking up to the doors! When she tries to flag someone down through the window, they turn away from her. A gentleman walks out of the establishment & she tries to let him know that she had JUST spoke on the phone with someone who assured her that she would still be honored her appointment time, and he was a complete jerk. Argued back and forth, not professional at all & really rubbed us all the wrong way. Basically made my grandma seem crazy! Then another gentleman walks out & laughs at my grandma visibly upset. She asked "are you the man i spoke to on the phone just a few minutes ago" & he responded "i have no idea who you are lady, get out of here". 0/10 customer service & absolutely disgusted by these employees as my grandma has been renting from here loyally for YEARS. The two cars they offered REEKED of tobacco smoke... and the car I had to take was still filthy!!! So how can you be reassured that it was sanitized. The car had marks on the outside and the guy is telling me it's tree sap. Ok sap creates super straight lines and horizontal ones too? No they don't... the smell in the interior triggered a migraine so my work trip and work itself was not fun! Will tell my corporation not to rent from this location again. read more

My insurance company was doing work on my car. The representative from Enterprise met me at the collision center. He said to me (without me asking) that since my car was a midsize SUV and all they had was a compact that he would switch me out for a midsize SUV later in the day when they got one in for no extra charge. I called later in the day and spoke to someone in an attempt to collect on this offer. The manager I spoke to stated that he could not honor what his employee had offered me earlier in the day. later that evening enterprise called me to see if I was happy with the rental. I said I was not because my family is large and the compact car doesn't work for my family. the representative told me to come in the next day and she would get me into a rental that worked for my family for no extra charge ( possible a mini van. After she told me this the same manager interjected and said that he would not honor this second employees offer. at this point I called the 800 number and complained about the mixed messages I continue to receive from this branch. This latest rep said the manager of the branch I was dealing with was wrong not to honor the promises made by his employees and sent me to the airport to swap out the car for a larger vehicle. Once I got to the airport they also said they had no larger vehicle to swap. I have never dealt with more unorganized people in my life. I am highly disappointed in this company's complete lack of willingness to help the customer. My father-in-law reserved a vehicle on a deal: $46 for a one-way trip from Florida to Oklahoma. We thought that was a Godsend, because we are on a really tight budget. When we got there to pick up the vehicle, his card was denied because his paycheck had not cleared yet. When I asked if I could use my card for the $200 hold, they would only agree to do so if I signed on as the primary driver, and paid an extra $50 in additional driver fees, in essence doubling the total, and having me on the line as the primary driver of a vehicle I would not be driving. There was nothing they would do to work with us. Could they take a debit card? No. Could they let me pay a deposit without having me as a driver? No. Could they waive the additional driver fee? No. Could they hold his reservation until the following day for the same price? No. Was there ANYTHING they could do to help us? No. Now my father-in-law is stranded in Florida without transportation, and the rental fees are back up to about $460 for the trip. I find the complete lack of assistance in this matter appalling, and have no desire to do business with them again. read more

Mostly because they are always so late in picking me up. If you need picked up by 2pm then schedule for 1pm. Maybe they'll get there by 2pm. The drivers, Curtis and Bill are super nice guys though and the sales people do their best to be accommodating when you eventual get to their location. It's just getting picked up on time that bothers me. Otherwise, I'm loving their $9.99 a day weekend special. Huge selling point and makes it worth the hassle of renting with Enterprise. read more

Customer service sent me to another location 35'minutes away with a reservation and when I arrived they didn't have a truck either. I have rented a vehicle at this particular location on 3 different occasions in a short amount of time and every single time, the experience was nothing short of amazing. This last time I rented an exotic model and my customer service representative Jeff was fabulous. He went above and beyond to insure that I was a happy camper. He literally detailed the vehicle personally to make sure it was perfect and ready for me. He made sure I got the best deal possible, was very knowledgable and informative about all the specials. Even educated me on the Auto Sale practices that Enterprise as a company utilizes. Enterprise sent a pick up for me and needless to say, he was punctual, professional and very personable. Everyone at this location is just an absolute joy to deal with. I will never stray to any other rental company and it's strictly because of all of these amazing people who work at the front line. I would not refer to them as sales people, I would label this team "Client Relationship Specialists" because their number one priority is in fact the happiness and wellness of every single client that walks through the door. WORST rental experience and disappointed being from a large franchise like this! Schmooze you into a bunch of BS then bill you and don't email you or send the detail for all the charges, I call there and I ask for the details of the $352 charges for 2 days or a stinky dirty car with partial fuel and a rental sales guy that thinks he's a comedian with his insulting jokes amongst other patrons and employees. I call back and they continue to put me on hold till the location closes for the day so they don't have to answer! Waited 20 minutes to get picked up at the Mazda service department which is less than a 1/4 of a mile away. Vehicle was not ready. Took another 20 minutes to clean it. Then I was told that usually they have a half tank-full of gas in their rentals, but this one was almost empty. Did I want to wait for someone to go get some gas? I asked how long that would take, and was told the gas station is right down the street and would be quick. Waited another 15 minutes. read more

Beware! I was charged over a year later for services that should have been direct billed to Mike Erdman Body Shop. I spoke with the branch manager on multiple occasions as she called me to let me know that they had something mixed up in their system. Turns out, she is no longer with the company and when the new branch manager or district manager, Ryan, took over, they went ahead and charged me without resolving the issue. I called ahead before dropping my rental car and asked if they had someone to take me home if I came in 20 minutes. They responded "yes we have plenty of people to take me where I was going". I was ready to accept this slight but then I receive an email form a Stranger who forwarded my receipt from Enterprise, they had set it to the wrong email address!
