AviHair is an exquisite hair salon on Queens Blvd. I love that they have a parking lot which is extremely convenient for me. The environment of the salon is fun, friendly and upbeat. The staff is very polite, friendly and will tend to any need and fix any hair problem. I felt very comfortable and the staff is extremely knowledgeable. Ryan & the entire staff is like my extended family. I can walk in at any given time and tell Ryan something crazy along the line as: keep the length but flirty & he'll know exactly what I want or when I get on my crazy self changes from blonde bombshell to black raveness and vice versa. I've been going to Ryan for haircuts for about 6 years now. Recently, I've been going to him for balyage/highlights as well. Not only does he do an AMAZING job at both, but he listens to what you want and is honest. Sometimes, I go in not knowing what I want and he'll be spontaneous and do something that I always end up loving. He's picked up on my style and taste, and I fully trust him with my hair. Last month I tried to call for an appointment on a day they were closed and did not leave a message or my phone number. I was so surprised when Ryan called me the next day to see what I had called for. This was already my third time with Meenu. Meenu has been taking care of my eyebrows since she was with another salon and I JUST CANT FIND ANOTHER ONE WITH PERFECT HANDS AS HERS!! I found this Salon on a visit to family in queens. I booked a same day appointment with Ryan, who was incredibly sweet and listened to me as I explained what I wanted and how I usually style my hair ( no dry, shake and go curl girl). He cut my hair so that it looks amazing wet, dry, an drying. I wear it straight and curly and it falls so well. I got the cut a few weeks ago and I love it still.
