I asked them to send their top-notch expert technician, and I was very fortunate that they sent Jason and his excellent assistant (Ricardo) to my home the next day. They carefully removed (and disposed of) my old water heater and did a beautiful job of installing the new one (it was made by A.O. Smith Corporation). The installation job required several hours but it was clearly done properly. During the entire installation process, Jason kept me well informed. I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing for any plumbing or water heater installation needs. This is a very professional company what goes out of its way to provide exceptional customer service. He quickly suggested I contact the manufacturer and take advantage of their lifetime warranty. I did and they agreed to send me replacement handles. That was an immediate cost saving measure. Even though he is an independent contractor, he billed the Bradford White water heater to a company he contracts work from (without the owner's knowledge). After requesting an invoice and warranty for over 2 weeks, Cody still didn't respond. Then I found out that he installed a 6 year instead of a 10 year water heater but charged me the higher price. Since I couldn't get him to respond to me, I backtracked the serial number to find out where the unit was shipped and who purchased it. Then I called the owner of the plumbing company who bought it. He was upset that Cody was billing product to his company for his private jobs. (Not to mention swindling customers!!) At any rate, after 3 more days he got Cody to purchase the extended warranty kit so I could finally register my new water heater with Bradford White. Makes me wonder how many times he has pulled a stunt like this. I'm an 80 year old single female. This is just wrong. Be warned! P.S. Benjamin Franklin is currently in the process of digging trenches to replace cast-iron pipes. From what I've been seeing, I did not realize it would be this big of a deal as far as how deep they are how wide they are and how much landscaping that they're ruining. It might all end up working ok and the fact that they told me that they're going to try to put everything in the back the way it was me that if they don't well, they told me and there's nothing I can do about it. From what I can see, has they dug they have put little rocks and boulders on top of the ground cover and unless somebody goes through that and picks up every single inch of the rocks and the cement that's in there then this ground cover is not going to recover. The same as the grass that they've scooped out and put to the side and have assured me that they will put everything back. I live in a neighborhood where it's expected that the house looks nice. Like I said when this is all set and done if it looks fairly decent, I will be moving my rating up. For $40,000 they should be putting in new landscaping after this. They need to let you know right off the bat how disturbing this is to your yard and your landscaping.
