He also touched base when the day of our appointment was coming up, which is a nice touch. Scheduling was a breeze. When Joe and Tony arrived, they had such a naturally warm and cordial nature - you'd think you had family in the carpet cleaning business. I appreciate professionalism, but Joe and Tony took to to the next level. As far as the quality of their work, I have zero complaints. They breathed life back into a "seen better days" couch, our carpets look great, and our rugs look a few years younger. Pricing was more than fair. I appreciate that DeFranco is a family business, love that the work they do quality work, and genuinely value their amicable nature. We'll be working with them exclusively from now on.

in Well, regrettably I have to give a follow up review for Mike. While my initial encounter with…read moreMike last fall (closing down our system) was wonderful, this spring and summer interchanges have been incredibly frustrating. On 2 occasions Mike made appointments with us and did not show and did not reach out (I totally understand that unexpected things happen, but you have to let the customer know). On the first planned rescheduled visit he came several hours later than he had indicated and by then we had guests over that I had to completely ignore. Mike was tired (it was late afternoon on a Saturday) and asked to come back a month later to address some issues that needed to be fixed and in the meantime he had me order parts (about $100) which I did for the follow up which was supposed to happen last weekend. I texted a day or so before the appointment to confirm (got nothing back), then reached out early on the day of the scheduled appointment and he texted that he would not het there in the morning as planned, but would again come in the afternoon, then a couple hours later texted that he needed to reschedule (again very frustrating since I had rearranged my day (which also happened to be my birthday to accommodate). He never called in follow-up and his voicemail was completely full and not taking messages. Then 2 days later I again called and he immediately texted that he would call me. I never got a call back! So now I have to move on. I get it that life can sometimes be complicated, but a little respect and communication goes a long way. I guess I should be glad it's not my physician or my father, and just a sprinkler guy who has ghosted me, sitting with $100 of unused parts he had me get. A couple of points in response to Mike (the owners) reply to my review. 1) I ended your phone call this morning after you started to scream and called me a "Liar" 2) I have provided lots of availability for us to get today; as I indicated to you when you asked if Saturdays were okay (and we agreed upon July 11), I had/have availability almost every Monday and alternating Wednesdays 3) The system I have in place has been working fine for the past decade, and yes does have some issues now that I was hoping you would help with...presumably this is the type of repair service you are skilled at. I would have gladly walked away from proceeding if you had indicated any hesitancy or inability to achieve remedy of the issues. However, you did not do this, and instead had me purchase replacement parts in preparation to your appointment this past weekend (which you cancelled midday. 4) The bottom line is, at least with me, you were impossible to reach (through either your intent or lack of organization). I work intimately with over a hundred people every week as part of my job for the past 30 years. And while it is not always possible to meet everyone's expectations perfectly, for the most part, an open dialogue and truthful follow-through goes along way. It is unfortunate that you didn't always "mean what you say" nor "do what you say".

My boyfriend's family was looking for a tuckpointing service to fix a crack spanning the front of…read moretheir brick home and also some repair work on the front porch. We set out on a Google search and precision tuckpointing was one of the first companies to come up. I though we might as well check out a company who literally has tuckpointing in there name- they must be the experts, right? After going through photos online we felt this was the company for the job and we sent an inquiry. Responses were fast and an appointment was made quickly. When they came to the house his mom was told that they could absolutely tackle the crack but that the brick porch was not a job they felt comfortable taking on due to too many bricks that needed replaced. This may sound like a bad thing- but we sincerely appreciated the honesty. Especially during this time of COVID-19, many businesses need our patronage more than ever. Having a company who knows what they do well and what is beyond a service that can be provided at a high quality level is a company we want to work with. They were able to complete the job with the crack across the from of the house and if you had never seen a before you wouldn't even be able to tell that a repair was made. They were very happy with the results and it has taken a weight off of their shoulders to know that further damage has been avoided by making these repairs. Very happy with the service!
