Great job water vac cleaning our screened in porch (Tony) and marble restoration in a shower (Shawn). A cleaning person had used the wrong material on our shower marble and basically acid etched it. Shawn did an amazing job, literally making it look brand new. No easy task as it took 3.5 - 4 hours of using various grade of buffer pads showing his knowledge & experience. Also, their General Manager of Operations, Joe showed up which was very impressive as well. I would highly recommend this company as they have great guys working there who totally got your back! read more

Had. carpet and duct leaning ordered. The duct cleaner was knowledgeable and pleasant. His equipment was old and dirty, I now have an odor that smells like dirt in my HVAC system. The carpet cleaner was unable to follow parking instructions because he claimed his truck broke down and was told by his supervisor to not drive it. And was obviously upset over the whole situation. Which left him with a 75 yard walk with the portable cleaner on a hot day. A replacement truck was delivered and the broken down truck was driven away? Was told the carpet would be dry in 4 hours and was very wet for 24 hours and still damp for another 16 hours and finally dry in another eight. Will not use again. read more

I just had two wonderful gentlemen from Coit at my residence today. The first one vacuumed all of my vents, including the dryer. He even sanitized the vents and the furnace! I had a dog pee situation which Coit did say they can't guarentee they could remove stains and odor. BUT I paid for the deorderizing and paid over $300 extra for their "unleashed" specialized pet deorderizing. There was absolutely NO DIFFERENCE after the carpets had dried. No stain removal. The odor was not reduced. I feel this was a complete scam to get extra money from a client. Additionally, the technician did not move a single thing unless I mentioned it specifically. I had to call him back to move chairs and end tables - all of which had nothing on them which could fall or break. The lady who gave the estimate did not even return my call. I've used COIT several times to have my wool area rugs cleaned and I have never been disappointed! I have had rugs that I thought couldn't be cleaned or revived but COIT always brings them back to life! I would never trust my rugs to anyone else! Very poor job of cleaning my carpets. Workers spent minimal time and effort and it showed in the result. Missed areas, no stains removed, traffic areas looked untouched. Sent a second worker days later with even less time spent. Both seemed more interested in conning me with excuses and untruths than doing the job. The second guy actually said, "we never get stains out." I will never use them again and would never recommend. read more

I made an appointment 3 days ago for cleaning my AIR DUCTS VENTS, I was very specific. The appointment SCHEDULED was not on time, after waiting and waste my appointment day, I called COIT, and after 5 min I RCVD a txt message saying MARK WOLLERMAN the adviser will arrive after 4:00 pm. After he enter in my house he said it was here for an estimate on my CARPET cleaning, I DO NOT HAVE CARPET. I asked him twice if he is for real, and asked him if he can see any carpet... but he said he is in my house for carpet cleaning because its what the papers said, I taught its a joke, but it was not, and than I became very angry, frustrated and asked him to get out of my house, At that point he started to raise his voice over mine IN MY HOUSE AND STARTED TO ARGUE WITH ME. I cannot believe it, I started to yell get off my house. All my neighbors asked me what happened. All conversations its been recorded, I have a video ring bell. I called COIT and asked to speak with the manager or supervisor, finally after 3 phone calls Rick THE MANAGER listened the complain... I was distressed, angry, disappointed and very frustrated, Its no excuses for a company to send out UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, UNCOOPERATIVE ADVISORS OR TECHNICIANS in our homes, they need to review their policy and their EMPLOYEE even they worked for 20 years... its no excuse to treat a customer in their house with disrespect, unprofessionalism and arrogance. 900 square feet of carpet vacuumed and "cleaned" in one hour? That equals a terrible job at a cost of almost $300. Don't waste your money as these cleaners want to get in and get out. He left spots I was able to remove with Resolve in seconds. I'll rent a machine and do it myself next time. read more

So my first experience with Coit was not good. They did a poor job cleaning my dryer vent and had to come back out to fix it. But they were difficult to pin down for a time to come back out. This was an awesome find online for our home. We were having some allergy issues like coughing, runny nose etc ever since we moved into our new home. We clean, vacuum almost daily and still we had no relief. I searched online for help and coit cleaning and restoration came up. I read their reviews on their site and decided why not get a vent cleaning. A nice gentleman came to our home and explained the process of the cleaning. He even gave me an estimate for carpet cleaning in the future. We had someone from coit come by to clean the vent and they did half of the job and the machine broke down. He apologized and said they would give us a discount for the inconvenience and asked if they could come back to finish the job. We agreed so they will be back on Monday. Overall a good experience with coit they have amazing customer service and for that we will likely so future business with them. read more

So COIT really saved me today. This is a sort of disgusting mess story, so reader beware! I have two rescue dogs, one of whom has been with us about six weeks. Before Gracie came to us she was abused, neglected and starved in a crate where she apparently learned to eat her own excrement. I didn't realize quite how skilled she was at this and she was outside yesterday for quite a while. While I've cleaned the back yard we have two dogs and it had been several days. At 4:45 this morning Grace started throwing up all of the stuff she had ingested yesterday. The epicenter of the blast was my son's bed but she vomited on my son's floor, twice in my daughter's room, once in the hall and twice in my room. I woke up when she hit my room and began the cleanup. It was every bit as bad as you'd think. I started doing laundry at 5 a.m. and finished at about 7 pm. I got the worst of the carpet mess up right away and started calling around for a carpet cleaner about 10:00 a.m. COIT told me they'd have a driver call me within half an hour. After 45 minutes I started to wonder when they'd call, when the COIT truck pulled into my driveway. Ryan was my technician and he really worked hard. As awful as the mess was, they ended up cleaning another room for me so I'd make the minimum charge (around $110 which isn't bad at all). He did an absolutely fantastic job!!! We have white carpet and there is no trace of the mess that I can see. I am so, so grateful. It looks beautiful. COIT was fast, reasonably priced and did a great job. I honestly couldn't be happier. Unreliable! I scheduled tile floor cleaning for the time block of 11-1 and customer service called to confirm time. At 1:00, no technician, no phone call. I called customer service and they told me I was scheduled from 2-4. Had I not called I would have never known and I scheduled that time block for a reason in addition to taking a day off from work! Don't bother giving them your time! Update to review going from 1 star to 3: I was contacted by Amanda and she apologized on behalf of the company for my experience with the scheduling of my tile floor cleaning. Amanda was understanding to my frustrations and offered to rectify the problem immediately. We were able to get a technician scheduled that fit my schedule for the same day. After our conversation, I was satisfied with Amanda's resolutions for my inconveniences and the technician did an excellent job cleaning/sealing my floors. My water heater busted, which ended up flooding my whole downstairs along with my neighbors. (We were in condos). The clean up crew for Coit that did the restoration was great, but after that process, it went downhill. The person responsible for making arrangements for the repairs (Laura) was very uncooperative and unresponsive to calls/emails. Coit subcontracts the work out to other companies, which were also undependable, slow, and just did a horrible job. Coit does a great job at cleaning carpets, that's about it. If you have a restoration job, I suggest you go somewhere else as this was a complete nightmare. read more

Coit Cleaning and Restoration is due well-deserved praise for the work they did in my rental home, when I arranged for them to do air duct cleaning. The Coit technician discovered asbestos wrapping some of the air duct junctions, etc. (some of it torn) and immediately advised me of this health hazard. After an asbestos removal company took care of this, Coit came back and did an excellent job of cleaning the air ducts and I noticed an immediate difference in the air quality of my home (and am looking forward to much less dust and need for dusting)! Their technician was prompt, courteous and highly professional. He was very careful and respectful of my property as he moved through the house cleaning vents and cold air returns. We waited over 3 hours past the original confirmation time for the appointment. Needless to say, this disrupted our work schedules, daycare plan, etc. We were NOT happy, to say the least. Customer service offered a $25 coupon for our next service, which is ridiculous, considering the job was well over $700! Our carpets look great and the gentleman that cleaned the carpets was very nice and professional. Yet, the major inconveniences caused by Coit were not worth the hassle. Called Coit after my washing machine flooded carpeting that had just been installed. Can not say enough about the service Craig and Dave provided. Within one hour of calling, Craig sent a service rep to my home. Dave was excellent in providing great service and saving my carpet that was just one day old. Craig has followed up with me twice, to be sure the service and results met my needs. I am most impressed with Craig's empathy and understanding by treating my situation with urgency and being willing to rearrange schedules to get someone to my house immediately. What terrible customer service. I delayed my carpet cleaning service until a day during the week when I knew I could be home for most of the day, and although I could not request a specific appointment time, I could request morning, afternoon, or evening. I requested a morning appointment. Got a call the day before to confirm, and while the morning thing was not mentioned, the rep told me that I would get a call early in the morning with a two-hour window. Great. Get a call this morning saying they'll be here between 3 pm and 5 pm. Called back, explained the situation, was told that there was nothing they could do, so when I asked if they wanted to lose a customer before they even got one, I was told that a lot of people need to have their carpets cleaned before the holidays and are in the same situation, but they'd see if someone could come earlier. As I tried to rearrange my day to accommodate the later time, I called twice to see if there was any change in the status. Both times, I was assured that I would receive a call, at least from the technician when they were on the way. No call. Just a guy showed up at my house right as I was beginning the meeting I couldn't move. No apology. No happy customer. Also, I've always had hardwood before living in this house, so I'm not really sure how carpet cleaning is supposed to go, but the salesman led me to believe that the carpet would be nearly dry by the time the technician left my house.
