From DAY one Alice was polite, PATIENT (cuz you know how furniture shopping can be) and professional! She worked with us on pricing and style and delivery options ! Alice never forced us to buy anything... she was never pushy or demanding about "get it now get it now" like other places out here are !! She has this confidence about her that is extremely caring about what the CUSTOMER wants ... and needs! Alice made all of our worrying and decision making pay off ... we must have gone back to her at least 10 times ... and I am sure she was irritated by us .... BUT she NEVER once showed it and was always patient with us ! I seriously can not say enough wonderful things about Alice or the entire team at ASAP... from the manager to the delivery men! Which by the way... the two men who came and delivered to our home, were EXTREMELY careful when putting all of our furniture together!! You could actually see the pride they had for setting up our things! As you can see by the pictures I have attached... the furniture there is quality quality quality! If you want great furniture at a great price, you have got to RUN to ASAP Furniture! And be sure to ask for Alice ! Thank you again Alice and we appreciated all of your hard work ...more than you know !!!

That was well over a month ago, and now they say it won't be in until the end of the month at least. I've been trying to cancel my order for a couple weeks. First I get told that I have to speak to Nolan, then he tells me that I have to speak to a manager, but the manager is rarely in the building. Today I called to see if a manager was in the building and was told no. I asked if they knew when a manager would be in and was again told simply, "No." I explained my problem to whichever salesman I was speaking to, who told me that I need to speak to the "Customer Service Person" Aida who will be in tomorrow. I'll give them one last chance to make this right and if that doesn't happen I'll be speaking to my bank to get the amount I've put down on this theoretical dresser reversed. UPDATE: I spoke to Aida and she advised me to stop by the store today, 6/17, and I'd be be able to speak with her and the owner and proceed with the refund. I got to the store today, unfortunately without my copy of the receipt. Aida (not the store owner) advised me that without my copy of the receipt, the best they can do is store credit. This was never explained to me at any point during any conversation I had with any member of staff until today. What good will store credit do for a shop that's supposedly "going out of business" according to their signs? I'm now disputing the charges with my financial institutions. If this store is really going out of business, I can see why. If not, that's a really low marketing tactic and I cannot recommend strongly enough taking your money elsewhere.

First, I had a couch that was passed down to me from my parents. I took in the pillows to see if he could find a match for a foot stool. He found that the couches were already discontinued, but he went above and beyond to find the materials and had a foot stool made for me. I bought my dining room table with him, which is still gorgeous. He also found my TV stand, which I had very specific dimensions, but he found it anyway. I have had to get a chair for an elderly person who needed the chair to lift for him. When it broke within the first year, Ben made sure it was replaced per the 1 year warranty. Just recently, Ben, his wife and staff helped me and my friend who is elderly, to find furniture for her first apartment. She has never lived alone and he was very attentive to her needs. We recommend Furniture Plus, because the plus part means you get great customer service as well..

When you are taking things in ask what would you get for it at a yard sale and what would you have o do to sell on the other platforms and than realize you are helping a local business and local people and look at it in that positive way ..Now as far as a buyer there is no where in this area that offers better prices on current style clothing and accessories and the sales are crazy I just bought so much at their 1 dollar sale and it was not crap. Uptown truly is a great resource and if you look at it as the business it is you will see the value they truly do provide for all.

While they have a large selection of clothing, frequent new inventory, and a staff that has generally been friendly, the overall experience has been disappointing. The biggest issue is the lack of quality control. On my most recent visit, I purchased two shirts and a pair of shorts. One of the shirts had a terrible odor that didnt bother me at first but I noticed it a lot more when I got home. Even after washing it, the smell wouldn't come out. In fact, it became even stronger in the heat - it smelled like a mix of cigarette smoke and mildew. It's so bad it's unwearable. Really wanted to like it too. The shorts were another disappointment. They were sold to me with the security tag still attached. Since I needed them for the weekend, I tried removing the magnetic tag myself rather than making another trip to the store. Unfortunately, the tag broke and ended up damaging the shorts, leaving them unwearable. To make matters worse, the cashier also didn't honor the advertised 30% discount on shorts. I didn't notice until after the transaction, which only added to my frustration. The only reason I'm not giving this store one star is because I did find one shirt that I genuinely liked. Every once in a while, you can come across a good find, and the prices aren't outrageous. However, between the inconsistent quality, items being sold in poor condition, forgotten security tags, and advertised discounts not being honored, I can't recommend shopping here. There are better thrift stores that offer more reliable quality and a better overall experience.
