NEVER go there! They are DISHONEST people, they do not keep their OWN verbal quote! I agreed for $39.95 OUT of DOOR. When I want to pay with credit card they REFUSED it. Told only debit card accept . When I gave my debit card they ask me to put pin, but on the little display was NO PRICE, Finally they charge me $48.20 all together. ($8.25 for certificate)! This is very unfair. Two years ago I paid $39.95 TWICE for the same car, on the same Day for smog certificate. I never knew after the battery changed NO DATA in the car computer, so they suggest go about 30 miles and come back for the certificate. So they CHARGED me TWICE!! read more

I called this shop to get a smog and they told me theres a running special for $49.95 so i went and after smog they charge me extra $10 for certificate while others when u called the certificate is included so if u used this shop make sure to ask the out the door price or else you will get ripped off by this shop of 10 dollars so shop around because this shop is a ripped off. read more

So Jay messaged me and contacted my husband and gave reasons on why people don't want smog passed....But nevertheless non of those reasons applied to us..he offered to re-test for free to make up for this and I didn't want to because of the principle of the matter but my husband agreed to it cause it saved is money..when we came to get retested all of the men in there had an attitude and didn't believe my husband when he said Jay said to come in and they had to call him to confirm which is fine but the way they act towards people need to change. One word horrible! I work for a car dealership and always referred this smog station to my all customers. As of yesterday I will never give my recommendation again. I get it their a smog location they can do whatever they want it's their business but it's not good clientele when you charge $60 for a smog check and it doesn't pass you ask your customer to go drive it and they have 60 days to come back and get it tested for free. So what are you do? you drive off and come back in an hour to get retested and guess what happens they hit you with another fee of $40 instead of sticking to their word. And then when confronted about it they want to tell you do you want the smog done? Of course I do well then shut up sit down and let me do my job is their response. But when you need to get your car registered you're at the mercy of somebody taking advantage of you. So my advice is either don't go to this crappy location or make sure they put it in writing cuz obviously they can give two s**** about their customers. After contacting the California bar they're entitled to do what they want to do but I think it's still really messed up taking advantage of somebody within an hour, I can if it was right before the 60 days but for 1 hour to charge again ridiculous. I will never go there again and they will never get my recommendations. read more

Worst Ever! Don't go their. Very Shady. Same issue with Coupon. On the main webpage it was $21.75 + Cert. Total about $30. I printed the coupon handed it to them and he said it's $30 if I fail and another $9 bucks if I pass for the Electronic Cert sent to the DMV! The coupon said + Cert. I immediately left and told them that the reviews were correct. I hope they go out of Business! I went to another Smog shop and they said + Cert means sent Electronically to the DMV. I've been using this smog shop for several years now. I always have had excellent service from the owner and staff. Most of the time I can pull right (like today) and have my vehicle done within 10 minutes. The longest wait time I had was about 30 minutes, but that was because their were vehicle lined up to get smoged. I recommend this place to any one who needs a smog. Fast smog check, in and out. They did offer me a deal when I called, compared to others near Sierra highway but upon check out they added another 10 dollar fee. I was kind of confused and the guy didn't really explain. I was going to try and argue about the price but to be honest they saved me 40 bucks compared to others around the area so I kind of just left. Lmao but other than that everything went smoothly.
