Pulled up, no one to be seen, door is closed. It took me calling 3 times for someone to answer and figure out where the employee on site was. He finally comes out. I worked with Mel today to get my car smog inspected (moved from out of state) and he was very explanatory as to how the whole process worked. He even gave me advice as to how to approach the DMV side of registration since I am new to the process. I heavily recommend anyone that need a smog or safety inspection come here. I have brought all of my Vehicles here and they have always passed. Brought my new truck in and it failed. They asked if I had done any maintenance or changed the batteries recently and I informed him I had just gotten my truck out of the dealer for a recall. Apparently the dealer reset my computer and there was no data on there so that OBD2 system wasn't ready. he informed me to drive it couple hundred miles and there's a specific way to drive it. Couple weeks later I came back and the system was ready and it passed. If you do any maintenance or change your batteries, make sure you drive it a few hundred miles before you get a smog. Quick and courteous service at this nice clean multi lane smog station. He can scan the VIN and pull up your cars info right there. If you've misplaced the paperwork and your registration is about to expire, save yourself some time and aggravation, and get your Smog Cert here. Then it's a short 2 minute drive to the Lancaster DMV office, or 3 minutes to AAA to pay your registration, get your new sticker, and quit looking in the rear view mirror :) read more

Had to wait 1hour because tech was late and said they made an error on posting time on Google when even on office door it clearly specified opened at 8am. Tech showed up at 915am then he works on2 cars that were behind me at the same time as mine. If tech would of offered some type of apology then it would of made experience better. I went there originally to get a smog done and the gentleman informed me that because he saw my husband took bag he assumed I had just hooked my car up to a scanner. He advised that I drive around a specific amount of miles and then can return. There was no charge and at this time I was mad because he made an incorrect assumption because my husband is a mechanic and he saw his tool bag. When I go back to finally get the smog completed which is my son who took my original paperwork he states he's gonna charge twice! This was bullshit! The first time nothing was done he voided the receipt but because my son took the receipt with him to use for the address the guy took complete advantage of him and charge him twice!!! I'm so mad and do not recommend anyone to go to a place of business where you will obviously be taken advantage of! My son unaware and trying to help me paid the fee and upon calling to talk to the man working there was nothing he was going to do for me! I paid double because he took an opportunity to take advantage of my son and the situation. I will never return and will continue to voice my frustration of the poor customer service this location provided. read more
