Good service friendly employee smog was done in less then 10 minutes also had great gas prices

I came in today this morning right at 855am because they opened up at 9am. I waited in my car for ten minutes, nothing happened. At 910am, I went inside the gas station to ask the clerk what's going on. He knew nothing. Waited another 10 minutes and then left. After "being open supposedly at 9am", I waited for 20 minutes and they never opened. Time is Money. And I'm a very punctual kinda guy. They lost my business and possibly MORE with this review. Don't waste my time. Especially on my day off. I won't ever come back and if anyone asks me about this location, it's bad comments coming from my mouth. Lost business in a VERY competitive market. read more

Star Smog Check - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Lancaster, California

False advertising! I called 3 times to ask questions about the total out-the-door price if I passed the test. I was expecting $39.99 per coupon and online ad as well as yelp ad plus $8.25 certificate fee. I asked about ETF fee but was told, it would be difficult to say. So $48.24 +an unknown ETF (electronic transfer fee) which ended up bringing the total to $69.99 with discount coupon!! BEWARE. The service was quick and professional just felt very misleading. Had he told me the whole facts beforehand, I would have arranged my schedule to go elsewhere. BEWARE! Also the "Free Re-Test" is "within 3 business days, so good luck managing that if you don't pass! I was in a rush but could have saved $24 by going to the Smog on 15th street that quoted me $46 out -the-door but had an hour wait at the time. read more

Went here last week to get a star smog check in Lancaster and the service was amazing. They do DMV registration and they gave me my tags right after the smog. So happy I didn't have to go to the department of motor vehicles. This smog place saved me a bunch of time. Most highly recommend. read more

Went to get my car smogged from them and it was such a positive experience. 10/10 the guy who helped us was really nice and we were done quickly. I came today to do the smog check and they were very friendly and quick. I was able to use Yelp coupon. They also offered the DMV convenience benefit that they have so I was able to pay everything at once and safe money, time and trip! read more

Mike is your man. Very polite, very nice and friendly, super fast smog check service. In and out in 15 minutes.

It didn't go well at all. Due to a cover on my intercooler that is carb compliant, the technician wrote "tampered" and turned me away. This cover was on my car when I bought it, it was there during my last smog check and it was there during this attempted smog check. My advice to anyone trying to get their car smog checked here is have absolutely nothing dressing up your car or anything that is compliant but not stock. read more

I was really confused when the DMV sent me a renewal notice saying that I needed to go to a Test Only Center. I just didn't know where to go. I went on Google and did some research and found 76 Smog Test Only near my house in Lancaster. Their website was really helpful and they helped me answer a lot of questions over the phone. My car had to go to a test only facility and not a regular mechanics shop. I went in the next day with no appointment and they performed a smog check on my car. The tech was really kind and charged me only 50 dollars flat with no other fees. My car passed and at the end of the day I was less confused about the test only process. Ask for Chuck. read more

The guy is very nice and gave me a great deal! Plus it's right around the corner from my house so that's a bonus! Definitely coming back.

Husband had to get his 2000 Corolla smogged and he was, well to say he was freaking out is an understatement. The service was fast, friendly and I cannot recommend them highly enough. When I called to get pricing, I was told it is $50 but if I had a coupon they would honor it. THEN! Awesomely enough, he told me I could get one on Yelp! Seriously, pleased with the whole process. read more

I highly recommend this Smog Check shop. They were fast and very friendly! Darnell had me in and out in about 15 minutes. What a super professional guy! Keep up the good job! read more

They are a star certified station and can take care of your vehicle and DMV registration, located right in the heart of Lancaster on west Ave J. I've been to a few other stations in the valley and this is by far the best smog check station on this side of town. Very clean super fast and for a good price. I printed out the coupon and he honored it right away. The smog guy was nice and gave me a free fountain drink inside the store while I waited. They are really convenient because you dont have to wait in long lines at the DMV anymore. Just come to this place and they can issue your stickers after the smog check. That's service you can't get at any other smog shop in Lancaster. I'm coming back for sure. read more

I looked this place up and it stayed brake and lamp inspection. I call and they said they don't do it anymore. Lazy asses...change your stupid ad. I heard this place gives you your tags and pretty much handles the paperwork so there's no need for the dmv. These fools told me a different price than what they told my girl. She pays 20 cheaper. It's all good tho, I had her pay haha. Suckas. Ask them about the smog hookup hahaha read more

Ok so I've gotten my car and suv smogged somewhere else before and this place was way better. The guy was soooo nice and he explained everything really well!! I will keep coming here everytime for sure. I just checked in and got the 29.99 deal from their Yelp page read more

Went in Monday afternoon to get my out of state vehicle SMOG'd. Unfortunately, the tech had left early and I was left with no option. The man working there apologized profusely and offered other businesses close that also could help. I decided because of his professionalism and amazing customer service that I would wait and return the next day. I returned today and was given a discount for coming in previously and not getting the SMOG as planned. They were so nice and professional. Im so glad I waited to have them check my vehicle. read more

They were helpful and very knowledgeable. Got me in and out in less then 15 min. They do registration for your car, truck and boats. After the star certified smog check was done I didn't have to step into the DMV or the auto club (AAA), witch was nice for change . I just paid my registration through them and got my tags and registration up to date. I got my stickers right after the inspection. It was issued right away. But no membership or appointment is required here. Just come in. The best smog shop in Lancaster read more

This place has a five-star rating on Yelp - and it lives up to it. Quick and professional, and you are out the door in record time. Don't forget to print and bring in their coupon on their website for big savings. read more

What a great experience!!!! I believe I spoke to a guy named Pete. He was so professional I thought he owned the place! I needed a smog. He got it done fast but not before making sure my friend and I were comfortable. He then gave me some $ saving tips where he could have easily lied to me and gained more business. He'll get my business and my recommendation because he was HONEST!! It feels weird to say "I had a great experience" at a smog place. But it was just that. HONEST, SKILLED, PROFESSIONAL, RESPECTFUL!! Great experience!!! read more

The posted business hours for this shop are 9am to 6pm. I arrived at 4:45pm and the employee that came to my car informed me that not only do they close at 5pm, but because it takes him 15 minutes to close, by arriving at 4:45pm he couldn't help me and told me to come back another day! He could have easily completed my smog check and closed down before 5pm, I was the only car there. It doesn't take 15 minutes to power down a couple computers and lock up the place. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more
