I you live in Uvalde, Real or Zavala counties you have only four choices for auto parts, and they…read moreare all located in the City of Uvalde. Forget Auto Zone, they sell junk. Forget F&F, they charge three times more than O'Reilly's. Forget Main Auto Supply, they stock about as many parts as the Cheese Shop had cheese in the classic Monty Python sketch. (For those that have not seen the sketch, the Cheese Shop had no cheese whatsoever). You need a flashlight to navigate the empty isles because the owner only turns on the lights behind the counter. O'reilly's is the only choice. They sell quality parts, have a vast inventory, and offer a lifetime warranty on most parts. If auto repair is your business then buy here. The biggest problem with this store is they can only hire idiots because they will not pay for a knowledgeable sales staff. They hire untrained staff that do not know the difference between an alternator or a brake shoe set. A good parts counterman is worth $25.00 an hour. This store manager pays only $7.00 an hour. If you have a good automotive background, this is the place to shop. They probably have what you need in stock at a good price but you will have to look the parts up yourself or they will try to sell you the wrong parts. If you not a trained auto mechanic, you deserve all the bad advice you will get here and all the parts they sell you that you don't need. Believe me, you will get bad advice. Most of the sales staff are former McDonalds cashiers. While they can tell you what beverage compliments a Big Mac, they don't know what spark plugs compliment your Dussenberg.

This is a family owned and operated business. Operated by honest hard working people that have always been willing to go out of their way to help me with my many vehicle issues over the years, even after hours, and on Saturdays and Sundays when they are typically closed. In my opinion, if you find a good doctor, dentist, or auto mechanic stick with them because they are all hard to find. I know I found a good mechanic shop with Cardona's and I definitely have no plans to go anywhere else for my vehicle repairs. David R. Brackettville, TX.

I went back at 8am dropped my car off, I called to check on it around noon and they were "working on it" they said call back around 3pm. I called back around 3 pm and the lady said the man UV light broke that he was waiting on another one to come and waiting on a part... not in 10 minutes go by and the man calls to say I would have to pay $2,000 for a part and 1,000 for labor. He never said anything about a leak, moisture etc... I picked my car up and he charged me $95 for the dye and Freon and then I took it to Toyota where I purchased the car and they tested that there was no Freon in the car or dye detected anywhere and there was no leak or moisture. Today when my father went back and asked the cardonas what's the deal he said well I put in the Freon and dye in for free. He said there was moisture And His $95 test was bs his business doesn't deserve anyone's service they want to gouge your eyes out! do not go to them No stars I had to pick one to post this

Less than 2 weeks we had to have the short block and other engine parts replaced. We originally thought 2 days after buying it that it needed a tune up but when the car stalled on freeway we knew it was something serious. Took to another Ford Dealership and they gave us a list of what was wrong. They said there is no way anybody looked at this car or they would know engine problems. We called Griffin and explained what was told to us and after $6,000 worth of repairs Griffin said they would make good on this car. They would repair other things we discovered, etc. They would call the dealership that certified the car and get some of our money back. We have called for over 2-1/2 months weekly and sometimes twice a week trying to get some communication. Never a return call no communication at all. We left my husband and my numbers. Left so many voice messages. Nothing. This was not an inexpensive car. We have come to the conclusion they are blowing us off. They got their money and their word does not hold true. We feel cheated and are very sad as we really liked the people there until we could not trust them. Please get everything in writing if ever buying a car from them.
