It was a short notice place since I was only in town for a week. My insurance company recommended them out since all the surrounding shops could not complete the street legal portions on my car any faster. The actual service I was not 100% satisfied with. Unfortunately due to timing I did not have the time to fix the problems or voice my frustrations. The windshield was replaced but you could see how sloppy they were when taking the broken windshield out. (See pics). On top of the scratching of vehicle the wipers now scrape do to the over torquing of my blades. My caps to the bolts of my wipers were not on there and I had to go back for them. Lastly you could tell nothing was put down to protect the inside of my car. Their were footprints everywhere and even a few glass shards remaining. I would not recommend this place.

They tell you your vehicle will be ready on a certain day, then turn around and say they aren't finished! Their customer service is terrible and they never seem to be able to answer their phones! I had them look at my vehicle because i was having front end issues. I asked them to diagnose and fix the problem. As i am aware they are a "body shop" but they assured me they could look at it and fix it! Well they diagnosed a few things but they didn't finish diagnosing the problem (which should have been very plain to see) and it ended up costing me another $800 to fix and almost my life! I will NEVER go back there nor recommend it to anyone!

I have been doing business with Cardona's for many years and I can testify to the fact that a…read morebetter auto mechanic shop would be difficult, or maybe even impossible to find. This is a family owned and operated business. Operated by honest hard working people that have always been willing to go out of their way to help me with my many vehicle issues over the years, even after hours, and on Saturdays and Sundays when they are typically closed. In my opinion, if you find a good doctor, dentist, or auto mechanic stick with them because they are all hard to find. I know I found a good mechanic shop with Cardona's and I definitely have no plans to go anywhere else for my vehicle repairs. David R. Brackettville, TX.

I went back at 8am dropped my car off, I called to check on it around noon and they were "working on it" they said call back around 3pm. I called back around 3 pm and the lady said the man UV light broke that he was waiting on another one to come and waiting on a part... not in 10 minutes go by and the man calls to say I would have to pay $2,000 for a part and 1,000 for labor. He never said anything about a leak, moisture etc... I picked my car up and he charged me $95 for the dye and Freon and then I took it to Toyota where I purchased the car and they tested that there was no Freon in the car or dye detected anywhere and there was no leak or moisture. Today when my father went back and asked the cardonas what's the deal he said well I put in the Freon and dye in for free. He said there was moisture And His $95 test was bs his business doesn't deserve anyone's service they want to gouge your eyes out! do not go to them No stars I had to pick one to post this

DO NOT CONTACT this company or rather "Baldes Jr." He will try to rip you off! He quoted various…read moreprices that were made up from the top of his head. First he quoted around $300 BUT only if he took the vehicle to his shop. He quoted $1200 for a nearby city. When we asked for him to quote us for towing the vehicle 12 miles to a residence instead, the $300 turned into $1000!!!! WHY??? A city hours away is $1200? But a home close by is $1000?!! Then he switched his response and raised the price for the city to around 3400 because he got caught throwing out random numbers. Towing to his shop was cheaper because once the vehicle enters his shop he would have RIPPED US OFF to get it back!!!! Do not contact this company as they will change their price without telling you if you aren't careful! I'm repulsed by this "companies" actions. They try to take advantage of your misfortune situation... look somewhere else!
