I'm a long time patron of the Diamond Bar and Pomona North autozone stores because of their excellent service, but this Rosemead store is a shocker. 2005 Corolla CE. Battery is dead, needs a new battery. Tell the clerk the battery is dead. Clerk checks the computer. Two batteries available "red" for $79.99 "gold" for $89.99". He says if I buy the red battery he won't warranty it. If I hook it up and it won't start, the battery is mines because it's an electronic part and all these new cars have lot of power accessories. No returns. So I tell him, my car has manual everything. It doesn't even have power locks or windows. Still clerk is being a-hole about it. What's shocking is the manager then concurs with the clerk says. I'm thinking... both the manager and clerk are both a-holes. Trying to take advantage of people. "If you buy the gold battery I'll change it for you." says the clerk. Again he reiterates, if the car won't start, he's not responsible for it, so I should buy the gold battery. At this time, I'm looking at screen seeing what the amp rating is cause I will compare it to the factory battery in the car. I'm thinking, WTF? If it don't start? If it wasn't the correct battery its your computer system that is ffff'ed up. it said two batteries are available. How is that my fault? beside all the BS, I buy the cheap battery which provided 550 amps. which was already 50 more amps than the 500 amp factory battery in the car. These guys were a-holes.... they were trying up sell by threat and trying to take advantage thinking we didn't know anything about cars. So we bought the cheap battery and was installing in front of the store. Another customer walks in with a dead battery in hand... walked out 2 mins later, no sale. Couldn't put up with the pricks I bet. read more

Especially rude crew here. Came by to recycle my oil and was told they wouldn't take over 2 quarts. I asked the worker again if I could recycle my oil and he muttered something under his breath, gave me a dirty look then said OK. The man slammed my containers down on the counter as he returned my bottles. I gave him a 2nd set of bottles to empty into the container and I was flashed more dirty looks. He returned and slammed the next box of bottles down even harder. He must love working at Autozone. read more

Great place well managed. Great staff. Very firendly, and helpful. Found everything I needed. Definitely recommended read more

AutoZone - Auto Parts & Supplies Near Me - Rosemead, California

Spent a weekend replacing my CV axle and going back and forth to this location several times. What's great about Autozone is that they have a special program that allows you to rent specialized tools, just put down a deposit (generally the full price of the item). You can find a full listing online at autozone.com You can also recycle your used oil here. Just come by with the container and have them dump it into their holding tank (you get the container back). You don't need to buy anything. I really like the crew that works here. Pretty laid back and helps you out really fast. Their prices are pretty competitive with the other auto stores. read more

Frank M. exemplified great customer service. He called me by name, looked up my make, model and year to ensure the windshield wiper matched with my car, provided recommendations and didn't suggest the more expensive model. He even installed it on my car. Great experience at this location. read more

This kind of garbage makes me sick. They act like they are Hollywood stars and they don't want to help. I came for a simple gas cap and I had to wait for 20 minutes. They all have attitude except for Edwin and the supervisor. read more

The attitude of service is worst asf! Don't come here cuz you will regret it. This Autozone store is the worst store I've ever seen before.

Went into Autozone this past week, and was told the employee who had helped me so many times was transferring to another store. I say this is a mistake, Frank M. Is very helpful, and courteous. And he gives the feeling of making others feel safe, there was some gangsters walk in, veey intimidated, but not him, my 7 yrs old daughter and I felt safe, with him in the store. You need to keep. Please keep him. read more

When I went there to buy the oil drain plug, their attitude was absolutely bad. And they not allowed to returned the thing I bought because they said I took off the designation strip. Guys don't come here to buy anything NEVER! Believe me! read more

Been driving around with one headlight and a flapping windshield wiper, came here not knowing what kind of headlamp I needed or wiper, I was going to YouTube to find a solution on what or how to replace but then when I walked in, one of the workers quickly came up and asked what I was looking for, suggested items that were inexpensive and even went out and replace the headlamp and wipers for me. I didn't know autozone would go outside to replace these things, thank you so much Autozone!! read more

Tony and the staff there are so helpful!! They Helped me find the correct headlights and even went out of their way to help me install them

Took my battery to get charged and they told me it was dead. Picked it up and took it to Kragen auto and they told me it was good and fully charged it. They just tried to make a sale. Keep away. read more

Went back again. Still hate it. Rude workers as usual (or as expected)--I will avoid this store at all cost from now on because this Autozone obviously doesn't want my business. There are plenty of big chain auto parts stores in the area. I don't need to put up with anything. read more

Going to AutoZone in Rosemead is taking a chance on customer service. We have had a few really helpful clerks. But, unfortunately, most of them are jerks. They make it very clear that YOU ARE BOTHERING them when you ask for assistance. Sadly, it's the closest auto parts store to my house. (!) read more

I heard on the radio that AutoZone dose diagnostic test if you have a check engine light and that they will help you either find a mechanic or do it yourself. Unfortunately I found out the hard way this is not the case. When I visited the AutoZone today because I had a check engine light on my truck. They gave me this little scanner to plug into your car and you turn the key on it reads the computer when it says done you go back inside and they tell you what's wrong with your vehicle. On the computer screen inside the store it told us that the O2 sensor was bad. When I asked the guy which O2 sensor he could not answer that was he was not familiar with the computer program he wasn't even familiar with vehicles or parts. He gave me a print out and said give this to your mechanic he was unwilling to help any further. Back in the day when you go to the auto parts store the parts person knew about cars and the parts they were sold in the store. He didn't even try sale me any parts. I would've bought the part and maybe even a couple tools and now Very disappointed in the customer service I'll never go back to this AutoZone again. read more

Manager of this Autozone is a jerk. He sold me snow chain for my SUV. After I gave him the tire size he sold me the wrong size snow chain and told me it is non refundable or exchange. Fine I don't mind that. When I got to the mountain the chain was too small. We were turned back because we dont have snow chain. Ruin my day off. This Autozone has bad service and a terrible manager. Don't go here!!!! read more

I came here to get my car battery checked (Free service) because it had a slow crank. According to the device, it was weak and the worker recommended a replacement. I asked if he would install it for free which he agreed. He checked my make and model and asked which battery I would want. After he installed it in 2mins and everything worked (windows, sunroof, radio, etc). Overall the workers were friendly and nice. I would recommend getting batteries here. read more

Best Autozone I've been to. Tom is the best person to go to. I have been going there for over 5 years and Tom has been there for me, he treats everyone with the best attitude you can think of. I have not had any bad experience with them, there are some downfall on some of the staff members that I question myself (How in the world are you working here) but because I know this place I know that those employee's wont last long. I recommend this place to anyone, if anything ask for Tom..... Thank you Tom for everything...... read more

Got my battery car replace here. I didn't know autozone replace battery for u. Super cool, didn't have to reset my navigation or radio.

This AZT has been here a long time! I buy very little these days, but this store is local, and seems to always have parts, lubes, cleaners, and stuff I need! I check prices here, and O Reilly, and then with T's auto in So El Monte. I buy serious parts if priced ok, as KYB shocks from T's, if Frank is competitive price wise!, and beats prices when you know what they are,and has OEM Toyota stuff also! Always check here for prices and check other places before getting parts! read more

Everything at Autozone is overpriced. And one thing about their Dura-Last batteries are worthless now, it used be great but not anymore, I think they are reconditioned car batteries that only capable of lasting for a year to a year and a half until dead which is unusual. A normal new battery usually last up to 3 to 4 years of usage, but not Autozone batteries. Luckily Autozone has 2 year warranty on their car batteries, I usually get my car battery from this neighbor Autozone, I have had replaced the battery twice during the 2 years of warranty, it's very frustrated when the battery dead in a year or so, I don't trust Autozone battery from now on, hate to replace it every year. I would rather buy the car battery from dealership or mechanic shop. Definitely better and longer lasting than from Autozone. read more

I bought all engine oil filter etc from this place. After I have done the oil change and bring back the oil to recycle, the Mexican guy in the red shirt give a very bad attitude. He is not willing to show me where is the recycle oil container in the back but have me holding the oil looking for it. Eventually, after I pour everything by my self. I used couple piece paper towel to wipe the oil pan so nothing will be dropped on the floor. The red shirt guy was talking rudely and not happy with me using that couple piece of paper towel! Cheap ! Cheap! Bad attitude and rude. I would go to Orelay and never come back! read more

Don't come here if you need help! The Asian old man with black hair was rude, my fiancé asked more information regarding the coolant that should be used on his car and the guy said "if you don't care about your car you can use any of them" like obviously he's asking because he cares about his car! The guy wouldn't even look at us in the eyes and kept pretending to work behind the counter. So unprofessional! The guy clearly wasn't knowledgeable about the products that they sell there or even about cars. read more

One of the worst autozones, it may be the area, they hook you with "on sale" prices but every price is different once you get to the register read more

Our car wouldn't start so we thought something was wrong with the battery. We went in to get our battery charged. When we came back, the guy said the battery is dead. But then when we tried to install the new battery, the car still wouldn't start. Turns out that there was mechanic problems and not the battery problem. Now we are out $135!! read more

November 19, 2017. Came in her to buy oil for an oil change. Waited almost an hour to check out just for them to call various auto zones to tell us they can't sell it to us. Had the materials and promotions out. Really retarded to display things not for sale as well as promotions that aren't even valid. Was told they can't sell it but other auto zones can and when I ask which one sells it he says he doesn't know. Old asian guy with beanie and glasses very rude. Lost all my friends and family as customers. read more

Great service here! All workers are very nice and helpful. I came here to check my alternator. After checked, it needs a new one. I left the shop to the mechanic to change my new alternator. After I drove for around 70 foot, my car is broken down at the middle of the street. I called them, and one of the worker came to me in 1 min to charge my car. However, I think my alternator is super bad that the battery wasn't charged at all. She tried to charge again, and again doesn't work. We tried to push the car to the parking lot. One of her co-worker saw us and came out to help us. Finally, my car is in their parking lot. I really appreciate their hard work, especially under almost 90 degree. read more

My mom got flat tire on couple days ago and she tried her best to get it to Autozone on the way to home. A man whose name Frank was helping her changed it. After he finished I offered to pay him for the labor. He denied and told me if I could let his boss know what he did. Of course I and my mom were happy to do that and thankful them for this help. Sometime we stop here to buy coolant. After this, I hope we can find more stuff to buy to help their business. Thanks again and we appreciate your hard work Frank. read more

Came here needed some breaks for my Honda and the worker was really helpful!!! He went out took a look and got everything that was needed.

place is koo and the staff is really helpful and they always have deals on oil changes!

When I first came in, I really had no idea what I needed besides a new battery. The first guy to help me didn't really seem to know too much. We went outside to test my battery and he saw all the corrosion build up on some part of my battery, and he didn't really want to help me change it at all. Not knowing much about cars, I didn't know if it was serious or not. So at that point I was pretty much prepared to take my car to an auto shop, however; it wasn't until he tagged out with Mike that things actually started happening. Mike was able to show me all the things I needed to get to get my car working normally again. As soon as he found everything, him and Ruben went outside, change my battery and some wire with the corrosion build up on it like it was nothing! I was really surprised at how easy they were able to do it considering how bad the first guy made it seem. Afterward I offered to tip the two guys, but they didn't accept it. So I thought the least I could do is write a review about them. FIVE STARS FOR RUBENS AND MIKE L's CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! read more

I came to o Reilly's to buy freon since it low. It was working but needed extra freon to keep me cool in this hot weather. The employee named Ty, which I am not sure if that was his name because he shirt read Esteban, offered to put it the car. I assumed he knew what he was doing since he offered straight out and said it was an easy process. Ty proceeded to look at the car and said it was really low. He then added the entire can without using the gauge on the can. The car immediately started blowing out hot air. He said it should cool down and it never did. I found out that cars need a certain amount of freon or else major problems can occur. I called and talked to tys boss and told him it wasn't cooling down. And he said we usually don't let our employees do that and said the car was broken beforehand. My car is bran new and has had no issues in the past. He then blamed it all on me that the car was broken. I got the car looked at and ty added over more than half over the limit of freon. The guy had NO idea what he was doing. Do not go here for any work on there car. They were no help and obviously hire people that are not qualified for the job. I went to autozone instead and they fixed the problem right away. read more
