I came in seeing if I needed a battery replacement and Yoana did all the right things to my best belief. When I came in, I was immediately helped as there was no line. She did a battery diagnostic and I ended up buying a battery. As I was completing my purchase, she multitasked and answered the phone as appropriate. Once I completed my purchase, she notified her coworkers that she'll be right back. Then she saw a customer with one item only and then helped them out! I didn't mind as it makes sense to take care of that customer first as it their purchase was less than a minute. Yoana completed the battery replacement with ease and sent me on my way! Overall, I can't imagine where she went wrong as she delivered great customer service and was able to multi-task! read more

Came in to buy a battery, a young cashier was so rude so condescending and ridiculously rude. I will never go to AutoZone again. This is the worst experience that I have had in many years. Some kid they said his name is Clemente, that probably wasn't his name. It was a young kid with top hair and a crop across his ears. Horrible customer service just horrible. Don't go to the store. Coming from NoHo for a meeting in Reseda, car battery dies. Good thing I had the portable jump starter to get to a nearest AutoZone and the experience was great! Trinity and Javier were super helpful in getting me the best battery needed for my little VW, installed it and I was able to make it to my meeting. Staff and experience was awesome! Only thing I would recommend to the people who are in charge is to schedule more people for the evening shift because it seems like there's always a huge line for this location; and I think it's because you guys have everything that other places don't -even your other stores- so quick service service would definitely bring your star ratings up. But other than that, thank you Trinity and Javier for your awesome knowledge and customer service!!! Because of you two, I would come back to get any car supplies or service! I had to get a new battery today and was very happy with the service I received. The store manager was helpful with my battery purchase and did not try and rip me off by giving me a more expensive battery for my Nissan Rogue. There was one person ahead of me for the installation and I waited about an hour but the manager came over, apologized for the wait and she even offered me a drink. I went in to AutoZone in Reseda CA to purchase a replacement for a burned out headlight on my car. I was assisted by Ricky and he went above and beyond to assist me with what I needed and my questions. I ended up upgrading to LED light and purchased some additional items I needed such as a windshield cover and headlight cleaning kit. Had about 10 people in the line at a time with only 2 workers at the register. There were 3 more employees in the back that would occasionally walk out and just stare at us then walk away. I asked one of the workers at the register to see if she can call someone else out to help and she said we needed to wait about 10 min for someone to help. Do NOT recommend for women shoppers. I was picking up some coolant for a car my brother is working on as a favor because i was close by. I called ahead of time to check if something was in stock at the Northridge location... they were out, but said there were 16 at this Reseda location, so I drove over. I also called the store in advance to make sure I wasn't driving all the way over here for no reason and I was on hold the entire 12 minute ride it took to get here; with no help. When I arrived, I hung up and looked for the item myself, but didn't find it. Hoping there might be some in the backstock or perhaps I had missed it, I asked the cashier for the item & showed him a photo. He meekly came to me and said that he couldn't find any (OBVIOUSLY - he looked at the empty shelf and turned around,) but offered me an alternative - I needed this specific one for a test, so the answer was no. Meanwhile I'm assuming the person who is the manager is completely ignoring me while counting out registers (to which I observed he was not really busy at all because he had no problem socializing with anyone behind the counter while I waited to ask my question.) Literally 4 people behind the counter and not one was helping me. Even the man near me in line me who was helped BEFORE ME was wondering why they were blatantly ignoring me so long and why they were treating me that way, which only added to my humility. This location sucked. This isn't the first time I've felt like trash at this AutoZone. They have no customer service skills whatsoever. Oreilly's is way friendlier & helpful. I'd rather go out of my way to pay more with people who actually help their patrons. read more

I have a feeling that robots will soon take the place of the employees here. Thank God they have a self check out. I came in here and not one human acknowledged or greeted me. There were about 6 that I counted just lollygagging. I am giving the self checkout my 2 stars. I was able to find what I was looking for but I gotta say for someone who has worked in customer service for over 15 years, I'm surprised Auto Zone doesn't provide stellar service with the bare minimum of a "hello".
