Very incompetent staff member here. Older guy with gray hair had absolutely no clue how to help me with my high beams being out on my Hyundai Elantra. Pretty much sent me away. Didn't bother to sell me anything to fix it and said he can't help me. Wow. Very dissatisfied with this and will never come back to this store again. Very unprofessional. Kudos to you for loosing a customer because of your laziness to check out what I needed and lost a sale not to mention how many other customers are getting your service or lack of service. Respectfully, they were literal morons!! Manager was dismissive and rude, didn't particularly help us at all and was just watching a game on his phone. The employees kept joking around and taking their absolute sweet time when we were in a serious rush. I understand slow business, but they were not apologetic or empathic about their lack of services or anything at all... then they just redirected us to go to a different auto parts store. This happened on 11/20/23 between 6:45pm - 8:00pm. So I'm currently working on my car and I needed some O rings. Autozone's website said they were in stock at an Autozone a few miles away from my house. I called to confirm they actually had them in stock since the website isn't always accurate. The first time I called they put me on hold for almost 15 minutes. I assumed they forgot I was on the line so I hung up and called back. When they answered, I told them I was checking to see if they had this part in stock like the website said, the guy put me on hold to check. He came back on the line 5 minutes later and said they do have them. After confirming with the store, I purchased them on Autozone's website and planned to go pick them up. I called a friend to ask for a ride. She picked me up brought me to the store. When I arrived, the employee who looked to be in his early 20s started looking around for the part and eventually said they don't have it. Frustrated, I said that I called them just an hour before coming and that they assured me the part was in stock. The employee called his coworker that I had spoke to an hour ago (I'm guessing his shift had ended already) they went back and forth on the phone for a few minutes. Eventually the guy told me that they don't have to part in stock and that the employee I had spoken to on the phone had looked at the wrong part when he went to confirm they had it. Such absolute fucking incompetence. I did everything I was supposed to do. This wasted my time as well as my friend's time. Not only that, but the repair of my car is at a standstill until I get this part. Also, I already purchased them so I'll have to call the store and see what they plan to do about this. I went to buy the special of oil with the air filter, didn't have filter on stock (understandable), Frank Salcedo (store manager) said give you a call (never called) , I went to pick up filter gave me attitude( because he never like to be wrong) when I mentioned I was waiting for a call. This is the best autozone I have been to. I had the most stressful day today trying to get Triple AAA to change my battery and after 4 hours they said they didn't have it. I called ahead and someone told me they could change it for me as long as it's easy to get to. I was helped quickly, and Louis changed my battery with no problem, even ran around comparing sizes bc the original battery was too big. 103 degrees outside, he changed it while he had Sergio do the transaction. This is my first review ever in my life!..Okay so my car's engine light starts to flash and my car starts to shake. I drive to Pep Boys and this lady at the reception won't even go with me to my car to see what's wrong. She explains that her engine code reader is broken and that if she uses some computer whatever I will have to pay $90. She suggests I try Autozone or O'Reilly. I drive to the nearest Autozone (Pomona, Holt). This worker (Mac) follows me to my car and reads the engine light code. Mind you I am female, I don't know so much about car stuff. Understanding my situation and seeing how frustrated I am, this amazing worker prints out what the code says and suggests places to get it fixed at. ALL FREE OF CHARGE! I am one tough customer, very difficult to impress, but i was totally awed my Autozone's services today. My car is back on the road!..Thanks Mac!!! read more

Went to get my battery replaced. They checked it said its fine just needed a charged, so I left it for them to charge it. Came back after an hour and a half and apparently it couldn't charge, so I had to get a battery anyway. Asked clerk if I where wrenches were I needed one he offered to let me borrow one. I said I'll check home than come back if I really need one. Come back the next day. Another clerk is helping me. Ask to borrow wrench gives me a dirty look and says we don't do that (loan-a-tool is on door as you walk in). I said I nought my battery here yesterday he says no we only do these things, shows me a list of power tos. What kind of place allows to borrow more expensive tools, but not a simple wrench? I understand that is usually for in parking, but my battery was dead how was I suppose to get the car I was suppose to work on to there?
