Five Stars. I just barely moved here from back East. I bought a 3.99 fuel filter for my classic car and without asking out of the blue the kid "Marc" from behind the counter at the parts store (last name not mentioned for privacy) went WAY out of his way and offered to put it on in the parking lot. He brought out his own tools and in a jiffy put it on and didn't want a cent for it. What the H??? I went in and told the manager that kid needs a RAISE. HE goes: "...already?? He just GOT here..." LMAO but from what I gathered this free work they do all the time as a matter of course. That is simply amazing. Out of this world. read more

I am giving a one solely on my experience this morning with Joseph. My battery light came on then went off. I went to Auto Zone a young lady came out checked my battery and told me it was good but needed to be charged. We couldn't locate the battery. She looked up my car and found that it was in the trunk. I went out to find it. I came back in her and Joseph were discussing my car. He stared at me and never said a word. He looked at the girl and told her the battery light means the alternator is bad not the battery. He asked me the year of my car I said 06 he says yes that's the issue. I then asked could they not charge the battery he told me to go home and charge it (pretty sure they do it there for free so why send me home to do it) he then started to explain the charge wouldn't fix the issue. Mind you he hasn't inspected my vehicle to be diagnosing it. I let him know that wasn't my question and could they charge it. He says not while it's in the car. Obviously I know nothing about cars and rather than answering me like he's paid to do he chooses to be sarcastic and rude. I asked what do I do I explained I really didn't understand. He starts shaking his head, exhaling loudly and says go home take it out and bring it back. I let him know that he came off as unwilling to help. I reminded him he is paid to assist. He says not to take my battery out. I never asked him to do that, I asked what I needed to do and he in turn acted immature over talking me repeating that he doesn't get paid to remove batteries. Blah blah like we are grade school kids arguing. He took out his phone and took several pictures of me. I called him a fat fuck and walked out. I turn around and has his camera up to the window taking more pictures of the back of me. For what idk! He acted like a kid so I responded as such. All the man needed to do was tell me to remove my battery and have it charged but to also get my alternator checked as there may be further issues. Instead he choose to respond this way. read more

The big plus about this place is hard to argue with anybody for any reason. Their open 24hrs.Without this Autozone the only other option there is at 2 am is, "midnight auto supply". The drawback with "Midnight Auto Supply" is their rewards program. When redeemed there is no parts discount or a couple of bucks off your next pizza down the road you redeem it for a sentence of 1 to 3 yrs in the penitentiary. So midnight auto supply is out and AUTOZONE is in, unless you want to get away from your wife for a couple of years. When you reunite with her after your rewards program stint it would be needless to say," she probably never looked better". read more

Terrible customer service. The manager Josh decides whether he likes the color of your shirt or not and will treat you accordingly. My friend in AZ was out on the road and financially needed help getting brake pads. I called this branch since it was the closest to him, and asked if it was ok for me to purchase online and have my friend pick it up in the store. We have the technology today to help out our friends and family even at a distance, how cool! I was told this was perfectly fine, in a tone that suggested this was a common practice they were happy to comply with. After filling out all appropriate info online, the purchase went through successfully. When my friend arrived, the manager was extremely rude to him, and he was refused the brake pads. When I called to find out what happened, the manager tossed out the "its store policy to release goods only to the credit card holder". Then why in god's name did you and 2 of your staff say that it was perfectly ok???? This AutoZone wasted the time, money, and gas of my friend who just needed $40 worth of brake stuff. I could understand the level of hostility encountered if we were suspiciously ordering hundreds of dollars of premium car parts. But the manager was just in a mood to be an obnoxious d!*k, so he won over a $40 sale. Wow. Called customer service and emailed several times. Finally was called with an apology from headquarters. read more

4 days ago-Edit i never had a problem with this autozone store until they sold me shocks for my truck. one of the front shocks did not come with the nuts and rubber bushing but the other shock came with it and it has two nut but the other nuts is really thin. Anyway i installed both front shocks and i used one of the nut from the other shock the thin one. after i installed everything, i went back to this autozone, thinking i would have no problems getting the nut and the rubber bushing that is supposed to come with the shock that i purchased. but they would not give it to me because i already installed the shock. ofcourse, i got upset and left and i will never come back to this store again. by the way, the front shocks, that i got from them looks like somebody return it and sold it to me. i guess the deal is, check everything you buy before you leave this store because they will sell you incomplete parts and will not help you out when you go back for the missing parts. i think this is a shady way of doing business. read more

Literally the most unhelpful place I've ever been. Probably one of the workers was the helpful until someone cut him off and told him that there was nothing they could do. One "mechanic" here REFUSED to touch our car to help us, but I saw him sticking his hands into other peoples cars with no problem. First time we came here they sold us the wrong lights and then refused to return them 5 minutes later when we realized that they were incorrect. Next got a flat tire right outside and nobody could help us when our lug nuts were stuck except to tell us to use WD40 after about an hour we realized that fix a flat was a thing so we bought that just to get a quick fix to get out of there read more

I love autozone and they are helpful and I love the 43ave and Cactus location because its open 24 hours.

This autozone is pretty rock solid. The staff is very knowledgeable although you may have to wait awhile in line to get anything. It's also very convenient that they are open 24/7. I'm not some crazy person who is there at 3am to get anything but when me and my buddy need something for my car at 8 or 9 it's nice to go to the autozone right down the street. Only getting 4 stars due to the wait time that you may have to go through. Be careful idk about anyone else but this is a place I can definitely blow the budget. read more

By far the best autozone I have been to. The employees were great helped me out and got what I needed thank to, and the employe who help me my car is now starting right up wonderful without problems didn't get his name but this place gets 5 stars from me. Just a quick stop in at 5:30 in the morning for a set of wiper blades. Figured I should get before the rain hit and I was stuck on my way home from work. Jason was awesome! He provided exceptional costumer service. My battery was dead and I had no clue how to replace it. He didn't hesitate to take replace it for me even though it was only 44° out. I have always had good service from the store when my nephew was working on my car and picking up parts from the store. I admit, I am clueless and needed some help with selecting a simple headlight for my car. All the girls at work have told me how helpful the employees are, I'm guessing because I am not a perky 20 something, I did not receive the same service they did. When asking if there was someone who could replace the part for me, I was simply told, "Oh I don't do that for Kia's", When asked if there was someone else there who may be able to, I was told; "Oh, I don't think so". If the store had been busy, I could understand, there were 4 other people working, and not all were busy. I am very disappointed, as a 56 year old woman, who knows little to nothing about cars, I can't even begin to explain just how bad that young man made me feel. He did some fun jokes and such too while we were waiting as it wasn't a quick process. This location is 24 hours! That is a huge advantage over any other company in the area. The staff does what they need to do. What I mean is they do their job...nothing quote more and definitely nothing less. It's always clean and easy to find everything. Just the check out staff is lacking but I can't imagine that it would be an easy task to figure out staffing with it being 24 hours. The longest I had to wait was about 25 minutes on a Saturday at 11ish pm but I was able to get my car up and running that night rather than start all over the next morning in the Arizona heat. read more
