Also chose this one because they are in business long, and are certified in all different mechanics. Anyways walked in here with my dad, and both the female and male who was the owner, were very nice and answered my dads questions. The reason why we didn't ultimately bring the car here is because of an insurance issue, as progressive didn't list them after we filed our claim and wanted an estimate which involved a vehicle inspection in which we did for the claim. Despite their website saying that they accept most insurances. But doesn't rule them out completely, maybe well use them for non insurance work if needed or for something else!

I brought my car in because my right headlight was out. I was charged for 470 for a diagnostic test…read moreand an oil change and then they charged me over 3000 for all my labor, I asked if my warranty covered it and they took days to check back up on me about it. I go end and pay that 470 and they tell me my warranty doesn't cover it, I then call my warranty and they tell me there was never a claim submitted. They end up having my car for two weeks and I have to pay another 500 on top of that for a headlight. Within this I would get my car back and my car door wasn't locking there was parts becoming unloose and scraping the floor with a terrible sound when I went over 20 mph just problem after problem. I finally get my car and I have parts hanging from the bottom of where my broken headlight was. Genuinely the worst shop ever, scammed me out 400$ and left me carless for days and the worst hospitality especially that dude Rick. I called them and tried to get my 400$ back and they told me that they charged that diagnostic test for a different reason and they had to hide a wire from a specialist from my warranty and got into a screaming argument with me genuinely the worst most disgusting people ever. Do not come here if you genuinely like your car. Fakest mechanic in all of horry county.Do not recommend. For the sake of yourself do not bring your car to these fools of mechanics.

Even though I originally did not believe I needed a starter, I was told that the starter needed to be replaced. I went ahead with the repair because I trusted that they had properly diagnosed the problem. After getting my car back, it was doing the exact same thing it was doing before I brought it in. I took it back, and then I was told that the battery had been damaged because of the starter. That did not make sense to me, but I went out and purchased a brand-new battery anyway. Unfortunately, my car STILL had the same problem. I brought the car back again, and only then was I told that I needed an alternator. What makes this even more frustrating is that my receipt actually says "customer said car need alternator." So if I was already telling them that I believed the alternator was the problem, why wasn't the vehicle properly diagnosed before I was charged for a starter? I also have a recording of them stating that I needed a starter. At this point, I feel like my car was never properly diagnosed in the first place. They saw that the car wasn't starting and replaced the starter instead of fully investigating the actual cause of the problem. I spent money on a starter and then a new battery, and my original problem was never fixed. If something isn't broken, don't replace it just because the car won't start. Properly diagnose the vehicle first. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in this shop. I expected professional service and an accurate diagnosis, but instead I feel like I was charged for repairs that did not solve my problem. I would not recommend this shop to anyone based on my experience.

The owner called and kept me updated . He also let me know of an upcoming oil change , he never pressured me to do it just let me know if I wanted to get it done he could do it then or schedule an appointment when it was due.
