We needed a truck asap. Mr. Lewis, came out to meet me and told me the price of the truck. Ask me about my credit and I told him what it was around. Well they ran my credit late that afternoon. However, the weather may have delayed the report. Nevertheless, Brad and I agree that I would check back in the morning. Much to my surprise! I called Mr. Henry ,and he said" come on down for your truck." Walked in the dealership and was met by Brad. Mr. Henry was on the phone and waved me into his office. He had my interest cut by half and my payments for under $70 dollars a month cheaper than my old truck payment. He had my payments for a shorter term too. Which really help me out. We have the truck that works for us. Mr. Henry had the paperwork done in 20 minutes and the truck was ready for us to leave . For a small town feel. I recommend the drive out to Lewis Chevrolet highly. It made not be the Dallas experience. Hitting the bell and people shaking your hand you don't know and telling you that you got a great deal. I got to deal with the owner and not multiple salespeople and a finance person. Mr. Henry C. Lewis, tells you what he can do and you can take him at his word......I'm glad of my new relationship with Lewis Chevrolet. We paid cash for the car it ran very well and the sales man said it had been parked and belonged to a old lady and that she only drove it church and grocery store. So we took it for a test drive it drove very well. We paid cash for it took it home and drove it for about 2 weeks . One day we were bored being at home so we drove out to the country side and to the grocery the pulled into the driveway turned off the car and in about 25 mins. My comes running to the back yard screaming the car was on Fire. It was the most frightening thing that had ever happened to us. The police and fire dept came out to help and the whole neighborhood came out to witness the FIRE. They all wanted to know where i had bought the car. So i told them Hall Chevrolet in canton. I have called the dealership talked to the employees and they have just managed to play phone tag and was told they would talk to Mr. Hall but never heard back from anyone. It took 6 weeks before I even received my car title. I regret ever buying a car from dealership where all you do is haggle over the price and then literally get burnt. The car is still under investigation by toyota Corp waiting on the final results of why the car caught on fire. Im retired, live in the neighborhood down the street and I thought we were all family in this community but was i ever wrong. Now, we are without a second car and sometimes need a second car to get to the doctor. I dont like giving bad reviews this area is my home and I deserve to be treated better then this. They recommended two places, the other shop, who eventually repaired the issue, didn't call us back. Until I called begging after being deserted by Rush. So first, the first guy arrived without the proper plug-in for testing. Based on a guess, he sent the TCM, transmission control module, out to be repaired. This was after he borrowed a pad and tried it. It was not the TCM. That company cleared the code and sent it back. This took two weeks. Next, they tried another pad. Each time, I had given them the trouble shooting guide to determine the issue. The 2nd man they sent went through half of the guide and determined it was wiring. He was directed to borrow a 2nd pad and try it, then take it back. He had said he was being sent somewhere else where the next day. He left everything unwrapped and disconnected. We didn't realize no one was coming back until I received a call to pay the bill by entering my credit card into a website. No bill, no explanation of what was done, nothing!! I found Rush Truck Center in Tyler, TX to open until 7:30 and it was on my way out of town. What I found was the "Shop" is open until 7:30 but "Parts" closes at 6:PM normally. I said "normally", as pulled into their parking lot Chris was locking the door and heading out. I called out to him that I was need of a couple connectors, he turned around opened the door and told me to come in. He opened the parts department to a non-commercial truck owner, a guy with a small motorhome that needed a couple of inexpensive parts. This really inspired both confidence and trust, particularly because this was my first time here. It took forever to get the component I needed, but I do not fault the business for this, it is simply a reality of the parts shortage happening today. That was further evidenced by the business' parking lot being full of parked cars. I suspect more than a few were waiting on parts back order. I was able to pay the invoice from my phone, a big relief considering that I am away for weeks at a time. My car is now safe and sound in my garage, and works just fine. I believe I got an honest price for the services, the work was good, and most of all the process was transparent all the way through.

Told them I had to be out to pick up my child from school and they made it clear I would b out b4 then. End up being late to the school and left with the tire still making noise (which I didn't hear right away... was probably a few days later I noticed). I went to another tire place to get the tire replaced. Told them about the noise and they pulled out the old tpms sensor and showed me that a regular valve stem was used. Came back to Bill Day (which I've used for years and have throughly trusted with all of our cars up UNTIL NOW)... I showed them the sensor. They show in the computer that they did a "flat repair"... which is NOT what I asked for and didn't need a flat repaired. So if they did said repair?... why didn't they find the noise that I heard in the tire and pull that loose sensor out that was floating and then to put a regular valve stem in....? I got NO apology and not even compensation for my time or paying for something that I didn't ask for. I end up paying for the sensor I originally asked for the 1st time... I asked to at least get the amount off from what I was charged for the 3 HOUR wait for the "flat repair" that wasn't done... they denied to give me a minimum of that. .... IF you go here.... DOUBLE Check their work unless you want to have to pay to get it fixed AGAIN!!!!!
