AutoZone 24723 Aldine Westfield Rd Spring, Texas 77373 3:45 PM Thursday, 6/19/25 I stopped in for the first time to pick up a batteries for my key fobs. (simple right?) Knowing absolutely nothing about changing a battery in one of these I asked the person behind the counter if he could help, let's start by saying he was not very friendly, he gave me one of those looks like yeah. I let it go I asked for 2 batteries for my 2023 Chevy Trailblazer key fobs. they were on a rack next to me and he said they are right there on that board which I did not see a part # 2029, after looking for a few seconds he kept saying right next to you right there look. I started to lose my patience because all he would have had to do is walk 2 feet and grab what he knew was there. So I grab the batteries and hand him the key fobs he then says you want me to change the battery? Instead of just grabbing the Key fobs & helping me he looks at me like WTF? How hard would it have been to say "Hey let me help you with that" ALSO No one was in the store the last customer walked out so there was no one at the counter. It was at this point that I take the batteries and toss them back so he can shove them. Piss poor attitude...very poor. Customer service nonexistent. So my first visit to my neighborhood New AutoZone store was a bust. Every time I pass that place in the future, on my way to Walmart I'm going to say that is where I met the biggest A$$ hole who is responsible for me going back to O'Reilly's where I should have gone in the first place. But no I try the new store for the first & last time. BTW went home looked at a you tube video & changed the battery in 30 seconds, you moron! read more

Brought a battery in for my dad to see if I could buy a new one for him. I asked the bigger guy at counter if they could test my battery before I bought a new one just to be sure since you can't return it. (Which is fair). His answer was he can't test it if I didn't buy it there. So I left. Went somewhere else. Asked the same thing. They brought a portable tester to the counter and in 3 seconds told me. Yes this battery has no charge. So the decision was made easy for me. To buy a new battery. Not sure if this is your store policy. But had your guy done this for me, it would have been a quick sale for you guys. You may want to change policy of testing batteries at your location. I came here to trade in my old battery for a new one. It was still under warranty, so the process was quick and easy. After describing the problem I was having with my battery, one of the staff members told me to bring the car in after I replaced the battery to make sure there wasn't an issue with my alternator or starter. I did that a few hours later, and no issues were found with either part. I didn't have any issues with the staff or service. read more

I called before I went to AutoZone and the sales person said they had the right battery for my car and would install it at no charge. When I got there they refused to install so I couldn't buy it. My car battery died. When I asked the sales person to give me a jump, he refused even though his car was parked next to mine. AND THEN GET THIS... when I found someone else to jump my car, HE REFUSED TO MOVE HIS CAR SO I COULD GET A JUMP FROM SOMEONE ELSE!! My battery died today and I was fortunate enough to be able to jump it and take it to a nearby AZ. The staff were so gracious and helpful despite it being a rainy, cold mess. Vuber and Sandra were kind and funny when putting in my new battery. My car is fussy so there was a snafu but they quickly figured it out. The manager checked in the entire time to make sure things were going smoothly! Now if only AZ would add a tip line to their receipts because they deserve it! Thank you to them! today was the first time I went to this autozone and I'm very disappointed at this store. my car has the Check engine light && I went so they can check it out. I asked the guy that helped me out to please show me the part that my car needed and he said "man we just waisting time here" and just started laughing just because I'm a woman. I've been to many autozon's && they never treat me this way they are usually polite and answer all my question. they need new employees that love they job. read more

Eh, back in my day I'd go to a parts store and describe the issue I was having and the old experienced gearhead lady/gentleman behind the counter would give advice on what the issue is or how to install a part. These days, that's very rare and instead I have to wait for a while for someone to show up to the front while i hear giggling in the back. Then when the 17 year old looking guy shows up, I tell him exactly what I need - in this case a blend door actuator and have to repeat it a half dozen times and watch him type it in wrong as "blendor" "no it's two separate words, blend and door" "blendor door" "Noooo, blend space, door then actuator...it controls the blend door so you can control the ac/heater temperature" *blank look* "blend door acetu..." Eventually I got the part, but god damn kid, you work at an effing parts store - at least fake some interest in you know, car parts. Eventually, you'll get what you need like the other stores, but you'll feel like Hank Hill. read more

The staff was rude and dismissive. No one was friendly. It's very stressful when your car breaks down, especially for a woman. They added to the stress by acting like I was bothering them by needing service. The guy that helped me seemed like he didn't know what he was doing and no one offered to help him. I gave two stars because they did get the new battery into my car but the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I needed my headlight bulb replaced and I got assistance as soon as I walked it. It was not an easy job the man had to wrestle with the bulb 15 mins but he managed to get it done and I really appreciated the help!! I'd recommend this AutoZone location for sure! read more

Huge shout out to Christian that works at this location. Extremely professional and polite. Told me right away my battery was pretty much dead as I suspected. I want to start off by saying I have come to different Autozone stores numerous times through the years and every time everyone has been great, they have always been eager to help but today was different. I bought a headlight and I asked the gentleman if he could put it in for me and he said no that he has tried before and couldn't fit his hand in the place where it goes in. This is the first time that there was no effort on his part. I come here because I have no one else to help me and at least in the past they would try but he wasn't interested at all to make any effort. There were there men and one young girl working and he made no effort. I will never come back to this store because you all are definitely lacking in customer service. Waited 15 mins to return an item and then when my truck wouldn't start as I was leaving i came back inside to ask for a battery test and was told it would be a few mins. That turned into 20. After that i my wife pick me up took me over to pep boys on bellaire bought a battery from them then took it back to install in my F150. Customer service is severely lacking by several employees. I even heard the General Manager very loudly complain about her job. This was in earshot of many customers. If you don't like it then leave. I will give my business to pep boys or advance auto parts even though they're a bit further out. At least then I'll know the service will be better. I used to be a long time autozone member but not after this. read more

Every single time I call there I get put on hold and no one picks back up. I wouldn't even trip on something like this if it happened once or twice maybe even three or four times but it has happened every single time I have called! And I get parts a lot! It has become ridiculous and it makes me not want to mess with autozone over it read more

First time I've walked into an AutoZone, told them my problem and they said they can't help me. I came in knowing I had a blown fuse, but not sure witch and unable to pull them out of the box to check. Given past AutoZone experiences at other locations I expected them to have a way to test the fuses, suggest a way to get them out of the box, or at least go look under my hood and pretend to care. Perhaps I just expected to much. Guess I'll just take my jeep and my business elsewhere. read more

This store always seems to be pretty busy, and it must be because their customers are satisfied. I needed a battery, and Alfredo was very helpful. He switched out the old one for the new one and took some extra time and trouble to clean up corrosion products that had formed around the terminals and wires from the old battery. Even though it was hot out, he was cheerful and didn't rush. Very nice service. I will be back. (Well I hope I won't, but you know what I mean.) read more

Just five minutes down the street, I think I found my neighborhood auto parts shop. The general manager was very very very helpful, knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. It just made me want to take my car to him every time to get fixed even though it's just Autozone. They have free service for check engine light, battery change, and I think even a tool rental. Call them and they will tell you. One of the employees changed my car battery and he was very patient and persistence. He almost gave up because one of the parts were stuck shut and wouldn't budge but he managed to pull through and got the darn thing off. Not a great explanation of what I'm trying to explain, but because he didn't give up it left me feeling like a happy customer. Shop was very organized and neat. Not very busy at night but I'm guessing they are during the day. I would definitely come here if I ever need anything again. FYI if you leave your battery with them you won't have to pay the extra $12.00 fee. read more

Stephanie went out of her way to help me with my car. After placing a new battery it wouldn't start and she helped me get my car to a mechanic and spoke with him personally about the problem. My car was looked at right away! Stephanie went above and beyond and I would recommend this store to anyone! read more

This is my second time at this Autozone. I usually find everyone at Autozone incredibly helpful. Not this time, Jose the manager was incredibly rude and took no responsibility for the leaking battery that ruined my turmoils they placed in my car 5 months ago. I was simply shocked and disgusted by his lack of customer service. read more

customer service is ok although could improve in inventory they didn't have some parts for my Acura RSX.
