I came in to get a battery for my Volvo, they had it in stock, ask if they could take out the old one and drop in the new one. " Sure we can" until they couldn't figure out how to find and loosen the bracket . They said there was not enough room to take it out. My pickup's alternator went out and I came to the store and had it tested. The employee said it was the alternator and I proceeded to buy an alternator from Autozone. I came home and put it on the pickup and it worked fine for about a day. Went back to Autozone and they told me that they could not test it because the battery was too low to test the alternator. They kept giving me the round-around and will not test the alternator nor give me my money back for the bad alternator that they sold me. This store as poor customer service and the people who work there do not know what they are doing. read more

My car's alternator went out and I managed to make it to this store's parking lot before it died completely. While I had to get a mobile mechanic to replace the alternator, employees at this store were very helpful. My car's battery died on Labor Day. Run to autozone. Ask for a test. The old guy (forgot his name), says my battery, alternator and starter are all bad. I know for a fact that it's just the battery, that the car is still under warranty, and that this guy is unhinged. I purchase only a battery. We do an alternator test, in which he says I "Failed." Money grabbers. I have zero trust in this brand. I quickly went to NTB and confirmed the old man was full of it. Don't come here. Go somewhere else at all costs. read more

My car battery didn't work anymore and it was under warranty. I couldn't take the car there and had no transportation to swap the batteries. The manager personally came to change the battery with an assistant in 100+ degree weather. I am so grateful for this more than you'll ever know! Kudos to this business! Teesha and Steve were awesome at this Auto Zone! they went above and beyond for my wife and I when we were in a bind heading back home to AZ and A light went off on my car. they took there time to evaluated the issue and helped us find someone local who could fix the issue and also helped find coupons to get the parts at a decent price. This autozone has improved its customer service and has also improved it. Service technician availability. Stephen S was extremely helpful on the changing of a car battery. This seems like a simple task except that doing it in the heat and doing two or three of them in a row. That's not as simple as it sounds. But he handled the task with extreme speed and professionalism. He even carried out casual conversation while performing a task. The battery was installed and ready to go in less than 15 minutes and because the battery was bought at AutoZone. It was under warranty and had no cost to me. Stephen S, was very helpful at the Auto Zone in Forney TX. Stephen tested my battery, which was only 7% left. He changed out the battery for me. then checked alternator and starter to make sure they were not draining the battery. Stephen was professional, customer oriented and polite. 2 days prior I spoke to a man named David over the phone from this same location and David said to make sure I asked for Stephen when I came in. When your co-workers acknowledge you for your greatness it truly shows your value that you add to the company. No long waits to be helped, employees are very knowledgable about the products and the store is well kept. It's clear to me that most men believe that women doesn't know anything in regards of cars, car parts, car dealerships, or even getting second opinions. At least David in this particular Auto Zone seems to think this way. I got my Honda serviced at NTB who told me I needed to get my battery replaced, when I went to Auto Zone the same day, because my battery was still under warranty, a young man came out and told me that their reading was 100% charged. So I left. Fast forward to today. I went to Honda to get my car serviced and spent over $1000 and guess what, they told me the same thing that my battery was low charged even added that I need to go back to where I purchased my battery if it was still under warranty. I went to the AutoZone and David told me that NTB and Honda only wanted to take my money to get me to purchase a battery from them and that my battery was 100% charged and just because it was under warranty they will not be getting me another battery to replace it with and that is their policy. When I asked who the manager was David told me that he was a manager on duty so I asked to speak to the general manager he told me that he didn't know the name of the general manager or the name of the regional manager. No cards, no numbers, nothing. But as I was walking out I seen all 3 names along with numbers that I needed. So in the parking lot I called Jorge, explained to him the situation and added that David may need some additional training and a whose who list in the workplace. Jorge called me back within minutes and told me to go back in the store and get the battery replaced. With Oreilys being next door David is in need of some serious training on how to handle situations like these. He needs to learn how not to interrupt anyone while bad talking another business. I will change my star rating when management tells me that he has been retrained in customer service. Just like I made a call, he could have as well. Simple. read more

I've gone to AutoZone twice to get a battery replaced at this location and have been denied twice. First excuse was the worker who does the batteries doesn't come until 1:30pm. Next excuse was the worker in the store isn't familiar and can't be left alone plus it's courtesy and walks off away from me.
