I needed a 2018 Kia Sportage engine and found one with 41,000 miles at a good price from them. All good so far. Called, paid with my credit card, told them I wanted to make sure no one bought the engine out from under me. Yes sir, all good, it'll be ready in a week. I called back in 7 days and they tell me I have to fill out a credit card form, and I haven't paid and it'll be another week. Meanwhile I'm paying for a rental car... they did figure it out and they took the card info which they did have and he moved the removal up to try to make up for the screw up. Not great but OK... then, I get a call, the engine is ready. I live in Nashville, it's 2 hours and 40 minutes each way to pick it up. I hired a friend to pick it up, paid him $300 to do so. He goes and picks it up. My mechanic tells me they gave me an engine with 71,000 miles on it. The number on the receipt doesn't match the engine number. I call and talk to them, tell them the situation, they didn't offer anything to make it right. I threatened the BBB, so they said hold on, let me call you back. Per the internet, I should be getting close to 30% off for the mile variance - 20% vehicle depreciation for every 20K miles. The engine was $2600 plus. To make it simple, $2600 - 25% is $1950. To be fair, it should be a minimum of $1000 off. At first they wouldn't do anything and the best they offered me was $200 off. THIS IS A COMPANY THAT GIVES VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DOESN'T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY WHEN THEY MAKE A MISTAKE.

I deal with them from time to time. Never left out mad…read more Recommend as a parts finder. Maybe they have a engine that'll fit a 1995 GMC Pick up 2 wheel drive automatic 2500. Maybe they will install it for a reasonable price. I'm calling them tomorrow morning. Thanks.
