Now I have wasted countless hours and $2k+ trying everything and anything to get it running threw the 2 hottest months of summer let alone having my 1 year old son here as well. I emailed them asking to return the unit and they denied me since I opened the box I have contacted both Lippert and Elkhart Rv Parts continuously threw this all only to recieve 1 email back from them a week if I was lucky. Yesterday all the pieces have finally come together and it turns out they packaged the wrong A/C unit (a unducted unit) into a ducted unit box and shipped it to me. So I wasted most of my summer threw excruciating heat trying to get it fixed to find out they packaged the wrong one. Now to say im pissed is an understatement, I contacted Lippert today and they said I had to contact Elkhart where I purchased it online, so I emailed them and now its a waiting game again, as far as im concerned Lippert packaged the a/c there just as responsible for the f*ck up and one of them will make it right and send the right unit and the one they shipped wrong will remain with me since they refused to return it months ago. I will use it in the front of my camper which is a unducted unit but not the one that burnt out and needed replaced originally. I am highly dissatisfied with them you spend that much money, you expect it to be right or fixed promptly not 4+ months later "hopefully". Id be extremely cautious dealing with these clowns because trying to get into contact with them is damn near impossible due to only source of contact is threw email, seems a little shady if you ask me personally.

Truckchamp.com has their vendor drop ship orders placed on their website for these window vents, somehow messes up the order to their vendor then points the finger at the vendor as an excuse to not provide any relief other than a refund. Now I need to roll the dice to see if another vendor for this product doesnt put me through the same ordeal. It should be unacceptable in this day and age to take 3 hours from a customer service call and not respond in some fashion with a status update requiring me to place 3 more calls to avoid voicemails from a company that proclaims top notch customer service ratings in their telephone hold music and on their website. Additionally, it should be unacceptable that the vendor ships one item of 2 on the order and they didnt already know about it long before I called to ask about it. We have a rig with which had a special ac systems on it. When we bought it gently used (less than 9,000 miles) everything was peachie. Just peachie right up until the time we camped overnight in the summer. And suddendly that fancy AC in the house of the unit just did not cool. We took it TWO places on the I-4 corridor with great repair reputations and they thought they fixed it, but they didn't. Then we took it to a third spot with a nationally based service center. Again, it looked like it was repaired until we tried to sleep in it in the summer time. Since we bought the thing to drive, we made an appointment with Rich at ProAir. The tech was able to figure out the problem immediately, replaced the faulty parts, corrected the mistakes the other repair shops made and fixed us up in a few hours. We were in at 7 am and out eating lunch with fully functional ac system in our rig by 11:30. We can't give Rich and his team higher praise. They were considerate, professional, fast and kind.

However, when he purchased it, he never told him it was not returnable, the receipt did not advertise this, nor was it posted anywhere in the store. It appears he was mad when it was first pointed out that the part he tried to sell him initially was not new. This was over $200. His next step is to contact our attorney.
