The underpromise, overdeliver factor is a plus too.

When in to borrow their code reader because my master () light was on for the past couple weeks and couldn't find the problem. After using both my personal scanner and theirs, it came back as 0 codes and in the green. They didn't have to, but they decided to look up possible reasons why both scanners read "0 codes" and said it could possibly be my brakes as that's an issue not connected to scanners but more the system itself. They referred me a mobile mechanic too if I wanted that extra reassurance who would be able to tell what exactly the issue can come from.

I was so incredibly stressed out, and I felt bad about arriving to their shop within 45 minutes of them closing. Right away Ricardo saw my stress and was compassionate and thoughtful in managing my expectations for the car. By closing time, they had a diagnosis that it was totaled, but they gave me another ~45 minutes to gather my things and make travel arrangements. The whole team I interacted with was very compassionate and kind to me throughout this process. They even offered to hold my car for a couple of days to allow me to get back home safely and make arrangements for a tow. Thank you pep boys at Lakewood Blvd! You guys really helped me out and kept my spirits up in a time of distress.

I found a vehicle online and Tony reached out after I requested more information. I asked if there was any flexibility on the price, and he was completely transparent that there wasn't. I understood, especially since I had been searching for a 4Runner with a third row for almost two months and knew how hard they were to find. I decided to go see it and I'm so glad I did. I worked with Tony and Mack and shared some of my hesitations. Instead of trying to convince me to buy that specific vehicle, they listened to my concerns and showed me other options that better addressed what I was looking for. They gave me time, answered my questions, and never once made me feel pressured. Once I made my decision, the finance process was just as easy. Emilio knew I planned to finance through my credit union unless they could beat my rate, and there was no pressure. He asked if I wanted to hear about any additional products or add ons, I said no, and that was it. No sales pitch or back and forth. The entire experience was such a breath of fresh air. Tony, Mack, and Emilio were transparent, patient, and easy to work with. I left with my new car feeling great about my purchase. This was easily one of my favorite car buying experiences, and I would absolutely recommend this team.

Our sales rep Ruben Bustamante was super professional and easy to work with, Tony the Manager worked some magic on the numbers and Sergio in finance was a straight shooter, no hustle or bs - he wrote the deal as was agreed upon. All in all, a great car buying experience - plus we were done and in our new car in less than 2 hours and my wife loves her new car. We drove to Penske from Venice after visiting several dealerships and it was well worth the trip. I highly recommend stopping by if you are looking for a new or used Toyota. I'd give 6 stars if I could

It's strange because three different cars, including mine, all started making loud scraping noises and had much louder engines after being serviced here. None of these issues were happening before the oil changes. It really seems like something wasn't done correctly. My car is currently at another repair shop being inspected, and another person's car is being checked out as well because they're having similar issues. Based on my experience, I would not recommend getting your vehicle serviced here.

I contacted…read moreseveral dealerships, and this Honda was the only one that came straight out the gate with their best quote: no gimmicks, no runaround. Only after I had this quote in hand did another dealer try to come back with an offer that was $20 less a month for the Prologue Touring, but by then the decision was already easy. The Prologue Elite is such a great choice: it drives incredibly smooth and quiet, the range is impressive, and the fast-charging capability makes it easy to keep moving. Inside, the cabin feels spacious and premium, with comfortable seating. The tech is user-friendly and intuitive, a plus for my tech-challenged self. Najma showed us the car and gave a clear recap that made everything easy to process: it never once felt like we were being "sold." Michael Lopez also stepped in to make sure we fully understood all the terms and details, and he added a personal touch that made us feel completely comfortable. Hugo took care of the leasing paperwork, and I really appreciated that he wasn't pushing anything extra, no surprise add-ons, just exactly what we had been quoted. On top of all that, the building itself is modern, welcoming, and stocked with awesome snacks and coffee. Plus, you can charge your car for free here, which is such a great perk. If you're looking for a transparent, no-hassle, and genuinely positive experience, I'd absolutely recommend this Honda team.

I recently brought in another punctured tire from the same year as the one they previously repaired. The associate told me they couldn't fix it because it was too old. He didn't even check it/measure my threads properly just eyeballed it. When I pointed out that a tire from the same year had been repaired there only weeks earlier, he immediately responded, "Oh, so you don't want to buy a new tire?" The response made me feel like he was being misleading and simply trying to push me toward buying a tire I didn't need. Unfortunately for him, I'm in sales and can smell a bad salesperson a mile away. I probably won't give them another shot and just take my business elsewhere. Beware.
