Customer service can make or break a business reputation. On more then one occasion of frequenting this auto parts store at this location in the past year, I've walk out thinking to myself "what the F just happened or did I come here." Mainly do to the customer service that was given or not given. There are three or four other auto parts store within a mile or two of this Autozone that I'll probably go to before them. Two stars because they have the basic stuff I need and they give a discount/sale on most stuff. read more

My wife had to go to Clovis to take my daughter to an appointment. Her battery started to go dead so I told her to go to Autozone buy a new battery and they would put it in for her. The guys at Autozone wouldn't help her they said they could not put the battery in leaving her almost stranded. Luckily I called Advance Auto Parts 2 blocks down the street and they said they would be happy to sell her a new battery and put it in for her. Autozone is the worst, her car had a simple battery under the hood a 10 year old could do it but not the guys at Autozone. read more

My air conditioner went out in the middle of the Arizona desert, during our triple digit days on my home to NM. I have been doing business with Autozone since they were bran new business, And I was happy to call them on the phone and place an order for a new condenser and a new compressor, I already have the other parts in my garage to do the job. My mechanic could do the job on Sunday on his day off from his other job. I pay well! Brandon D. took my order, he was efficient and professional. We ordered the compressor and the condenser brand new and immediately paid for them in the first five minutes after he found the part numbers. So ordered and paid for on thursday. Expected delivery date was friday, the next day. I call friday, they say, the condenser is here but not the compressor, the HUB didnt have one so its coming from California, and more deliveries expected today. I called later, still no compressor. OK, so saturday my alternator went out in Lincoln and I was towed to Roswell Autozone, who had one in stock and we fixed it in the parking lot, and they were even very helpful to re-charge my battery that was now dead. So I didnt call autozone Clovis that day, it was a long day! So sunday morning we are ready to do the air conditioner replacement, I call and get Justin on the phone, he was short and impatient with me, so I then moved to explaining to him what was going on with compressor, ( I was not rude or mad at this point), and he then chews me out, the customer. Declaring (with mean raised voice) if it wasn't paid for, in the first 15 minutes after ordering, the computer would kick out the order, I said it was paid for immediately upon order. He says well its not here, and the computer shows it is not even ordered. And that there are NO deliveries from anyone on Sundays. So he will order another one and it will come about the 5th, thats 4 more days, and in the middle of the next week after it was ordered and paid for, my mechanic wouldn't be able to get to it for 2 more weeks after that. I would have bought one some where else if I knew it would take a week to get it. BOTTOM LINE: I went in to Clovis autozone Sunday about 4, (the same sunday july 2nd)and guess what? My condesor was still there, good, and "THE COMPRESSOR WAS THERE SITTING ON JUSTINS DESK." "So Justin is a liar." He cost us the whole work day. Compressor was either there all along, or a delivery did in fact come in on Sunday, and he didnt call to let us know, on account of he was already rude, and unprofessional declaring it was not there and he couldn't get one in, until the 5th or later. Or he is just evil and vindictive, and wasnt going to give it to us, as we were not happy, it wasnt there on Friday, or saturday, or Sunday..as promised. Were we supposed to be happy and maybe bake him a cake to get our promised and paid for parts? To top off the cake it was like pulling teeth to get a receipt that showed the parts warrentees, that is autozone corporates fault, the way they have their systems booted. The receipts that were taped to the condenser and compressor, had no warrentee information on them. (shady) Taylor kept after it and finally got us one! Good job Taylor and Brandon, but they shouldn't have to work that hard, to produce a receipt with warentee information on it for any parts we order, ever. read more

I highly recommend using this store. All of the employees were very friendly and went out of their way to help with my dead battery. They only had one battery in the store that would work with my vehicle, the manager checked the battery and said he did not want to sell me it since it was a year old. He ordered a new one and had it in by that afternoon! I appreciate all the help and how friendly they were. I Will use Autozone again for my car troubles. read more
