Service manager said they never heard of this problem before and said I should get it towed in and they would work on it. I explained it was in my barn and with it not coming out of Park that could make for another whole problem. He agreed, so I asked if they had anyone that could come and look at it, after a very short pause he said he'd have someone out in mid-afternoon. At 2pm a mechanic called and said he was on the way. !0 minutes later he showed up. 5 minutes later my truck was running. I was never so relieved in my life in a very long time. While He (Mechanic) was showing me what he found that was causing the trouble the Service Manager call. The Mechanic told him what he found and did. The Mechanic then put Us on speaker and Service Manager informed there was No Charge, I figured there would be a good service charge. (I CAN NOT THANK THESE TWO PEOPLE ENOUGH) Max Motors Service Department has my total business from NOW ON. Again THANK YOU to Max Motors Service Department. The staff seemed especially fun and helpful. I happened to buy the "small" bag of popcorn and it was massive. I saved 1/2 of the popcorn and brought it to my office and shared it with my staff. Roger was the only one to return my call. He asked me some questions and correctly diagnosed my problem over the phone. It was the alternator. He allowed me to leave my car at his shop, and when I came back for it on Monday afternoon, it was ready to go home. The price was so affordable too! This guy guarantees his work for 6 months or 6000 miles. I have never in my life had a mechanic guarantee his work. Roger doesn't take credit cards or out of state checks, but that was not a problem for me. If I lived a bit closer to Clinton, Missouri I would want Roger to work on all my cars and trucks. He was great to work with and cared enough to text me later to make sure I'd made it home okay.
