I took my transmission to B&B to have them rebuild it. They were more expensive, by $600 than the…read moreother shop I called, but I went with them. The other shop had one week turnaround time. B&B was not as fast but once I installed the transmission they had rebuilt I would not shift gears past 2nd. I called them right away, took the car to them and they first said it was my fault, next they said it was my cars fault that my car doesn't shift. I had to ask them what was going on with my car and they said that it was the cars fault that I could take my car. They didn't even have the decency to call me to say come get my broken car. So took car to a mechanic shop down the street. after 2 months they said that the car was running perfectly as it relates to the transmission so returned car to B@B transmission in Sedalia, MO. and it has sat there for three weeks and they havent touched it. At this point I haven"t had my car for about 5 months. I had to but a cheep car and then had to pay to have it fixed. I went buy there shop to see what was going on and they yelled at me saying I didn't need to come to them with an attitude when all I told them was that I haven't had my car for 5 months and that I was moving to another country in three weeks with my car. In three weeks It will be about 6 months that I haven't been able to use my car and I do not believe that they will try to fix their work in the next 3 weeks. So take what you will from this but I wish to God, I had taken the owner up on his offer to take the disassembled parts from my transmission home with me and he would give my money back, when I went to pick it up and it wasn't ready.
