Valvoline is always open on Sundays. I'm so grateful. Their goal is to do 15 minutes a car. Based on my experience I saw some cars less than 15 minutes. And some Cars over 15 minutes. I was less than 15 :) Whether if it's less than 15 or not it doesn't matter to me what matters is they have good customer service and we get to wait in our car while our car is being serviced. I'm back today because I didn't think I need wiper blades. And it's raining like crazy today. Again I'm in my car and they're putting on my new wiper blades. Thanks Valvoline Team!!

After discovering the mess they made of my truck (leaving oil all over the hood), I got the added reward of discovering they didn't bother ensuring they cleaned up the oil they had apparently spilled all over my skid plate. I went back to make sure it wasn't an actual leak, no leak but no offer of a refund. Just a bogus claim that someone would be out to clean my driveway. Spoiler; no one called or came by so I'm out the cost of the oil change and paying someone to come power wash this stain off my driveway.

Broke down what the different types of oil do for my car and didn't try to push any on me. I chose my oil and pulled the car into the bay and then they did a quick inspection of everything from my lights to my fluid levels. Then broke everything down for me right there and what the price of each thing would be, suggested what I should work on next or do today. I chose to get an oil change and a new air filter. It ran me about $145, which is pretty high for an oil change imo, especially as someone who typically does it at home. BUT for the service, the breaking everything down to make it simple and just the quality of the service. I would pay the price again. I paid him upfront, and took my truck back 3 times, first bc they just didn't put one of my struts on at all. But told me it was safe to drive. The last time was because the truck was unsafe to drive after leaving it with him to install the strut he was already paid for. He refused to fix it telling me that my front axle and cv axle were 2 different parts. He said my front axle was worn out and need replaced. This cv axle was supposedly something he was paid to replace. I have debit card receipts, but he refused to give me a receipt upon me picking my truck up and told me I was stupid and looking for free mechanic work. After, I paid that man/child a total of $4600.00! He was paid upfront for this and did not perform any thing he was paid for. there is so much more I could write, but I have filed a claim against him, as well as formal charges for stealing. Since I paid for services, he did not do. Gage stole my money and destroyed my truck. It is now not drivable, currently in another shop getting the repair's done Gage was paid to do. Finally, he up charged the parts he said he ordered and charged me for by 100% as he ordered them from O'Riely's. The sales tax on the order form that Carl gave to me (the only document they gave to me at all, no invoice, no receipt, no quote) the sales tax they had on the 3 three different orders were not even the strictly fixed tax rate that all business' must use, also included the labor rate of $125 per hour (a $50 mark up from his normal rate, as per his assistant told me). They broke my tie rod end, charged $42 for one quart oil, but did not change my oil at all, charged me for a filter replacement but didn't replace it. I have tried to resolve this matter several times, now I am forced to file suit. Gage said to me go ahead take me to court, I am ready, mind you Gage blamed everything on his assistant Carl, which whom he pays under the table dirt poor wages. Carl I would seek other employment, I don't think Gage will be open much longer.

But, what the heck, it's an oil-change shop, right? Well, you know what? You don't have to put up with that! And the Jiffy Lube in Sedalia showed me that. :) The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They were pleasant and made me feel comfortable and welcome. The waiting room was clean and cozy with complimentary water and coffee. (This Jiffy Lube is attached to a BreakTime, so I opted to go next door and purchase a fountain drink.) Wait time was short and I was informed of what they did to my vehicle and why. I felt involved in my car's maintenance. The price was a little higher than what I pay from the greasy oil-change places, but the guys at Jiffy Lube performed extra services, such as washing the windows, vacuuming the floors and topping off fluids, which doesn't happen at the places I used to frequent. I loved the experience and I will be back in 3 months or 3,000 miles, whichever comes first. :)

They check all your lights and signals as well as your fluids and filters. They'll give you a brief recommendation on maintenance for your car (replacing filters, rotating tires etc) but are NOT pushy at all with sales which I always appreciate. Turns out my rear reverse light was out and they replaced it for me ($15). I suppose I could have replaced it myself for cheaper, but it involved removing some paneling to access the light and frankly was well worth paying someone else $15 to do. After the tech was done changing my oil he brought me my dipstick to show me that the oil was clean and filled to the top. Honestly as a young woman who knows very little about cars I get nervous going to auto garages, worried that I'm easy to take advantage of (you hear stories of people ripping you off, not actually changing your oil and such) but everything felt very legitimate, up front, and honest. Louis was the tech who helped me and was very kind and professional. He surprised me by giving me a $15 discount (which covered the cost of my light replacement) because I waited in line a bit longer than usual due to the car in front of me having an unexpected issue they had to resolve. The manager ERIC refused to take responsibility for there actions. They also changed my air filter and unplugged something in the process. Roger was the only one to return my call. He asked me some questions and correctly diagnosed my problem over the phone. It was the alternator. He allowed me to leave my car at his shop, and when I came back for it on Monday afternoon, it was ready to go home. The price was so affordable too! This guy guarantees his work for 6 months or 6000 miles. I have never in my life had a mechanic guarantee his work. Roger doesn't take credit cards or out of state checks, but that was not a problem for me. If I lived a bit closer to Clinton, Missouri I would want Roger to work on all my cars and trucks. He was great to work with and cared enough to text me later to make sure I'd made it home okay.

On reccomendation of a friend, we had it towed to Cameron Automotive. Roger, the owner, was pleasant and helpful, and even though we had to leave the car there and head home, he stayed in contact with us about the repairs. His prices are extremely reasonable, and he got the job done within a day or so. He even called us after we got it home to see if everything was okay! We would absolutely use him again. Highly professional and reccomended! One small thing: He doesn't take credit cards or out-of-town checks, which was surprising, but not a big deal.
