Bottom Line: Advanced Auto Parts does NOT have a real-time inventory system and they intentionally say they have a product in the store when they really have NO clue. NONE. Before you ever buy online it is best to call a store and ask them to confirm it is in stock otherwise you will waste hours and hours of your day and come away empty handed and then have to deal with refund BS. Their site and inventory system is not reliable.

I immediately drove to First Choice to ask their advice. Eric dropped what he was doing, and hooked up a diagnostic tool to the truck. It showed an oxygen sensor error. Right then and there, he could have said make an appointment; you need a new one. Instead, he said that it was rare for them to fail. He cleared the error code from the truck, and told me to drive it for an hour or so, and go get it tested again. I followed his advice, and it worked! First Choice did not charge me a penny, and the solution was simple, straight forward, and took little time. I've had other instances where these guys have really bailed me out over the years, and I won't have my vehicles serviced anywhere else. If you want it fixed correctly the first time, this is the shop to do the job.

They have filtered water and a coffee machine that makes a variety of hot drinks (coffee, latte, hot chocolate, tea...) and a few snacks to offer. I appreciated the heads up from my service representative, that they were running just a little behind so the wait might be longer than I'd planned, but they were able to finish the maintenance on my car within an hour and a half, so it worked out well.

I have gone here twice for batteries, once with my old car and once with my new car. Both times the…read morebatteries were fairly priced, as was instillation ($15 compared to $30 and up or I'd have to install it, elsewhere). They cleaned up the connections and corrosion and didn't charge me a core charge, since I was exchanging my battery with them. Other places, where I would have to do it myself, required me to take the battery home, install it, return my battery to the place I bought it, wait in line again, turn in the core, get my $15 or something, and drive back home. The convince of being at ABE is all that was taken out of the equation and for difference of price to, for example Costco, my time was and also freezing in the cold putting the battery in, was saved. It's a great family business with the grandpa, dad, and sons all working there. Good people (and a super cute dog there too!)
