The person at the desk apologized and I left. So I tried to give them another chance and scheduled an oil change for 8. They changed to oil even though it was a 2 hour wait. I needed new headlight bulbs and called on 12/2 to schedule an appointment. It was about 3:30. I asked how much they charged to change headlight bulbs. The man asked in a very nasty tone "in what?" confused I said a car? then he nastily says I know a car, what type of car? Insulted by his unnecessary nastiness I hung up. This was totally unprofessional for a simple question. I will no longer use them. They have lost any future business from me and I will let everyone know of my experience.

There is no convenience shop attached to this gas station. It is an old-school gas station and service center. You can but a soda from the vending machine, but that's it. No Slurpees, chips, or lottery tickets here. But the gas is priced 10 cents per gallon lower than the gas at the BP across the street, so that's a good value. The station is tidy, garbage cans attended to, great neighborhood location, and access is easy from Lake Street or Ridgeland. You can buy air for your tires, but I didn't see a vacuum station.

I go inside and tell them I have an appointment for 8am oil change and they tell me it's a 3 hour wait because it's first come first serve. I then ask what's the point of making an appointment? He looks completely dumbfounded and responds "to be honest... I don't know." I remember that I checked in online and ask if I checked in online would that not mean that I'm ahead of some of these "walk in"? He then tells me that the car was not physically here and some of these people were here since 7am and that Saturday is their busiest day. I ask him "since I already prepaid for multiple oil changes... can I transfer them/use them at a different dealership?" He immediately responds no... but after looking it up on the computer finds out that I in fact can use it at a different dodge dealer. I call DuPage Dodge and ask them how long is the wait for an oil change and the nice lady tells me typically an hour- hour 15. She said but I'd have to make an appointment. I explained what just happened and she said no, it's appointment only. I made an appointment for the same day at 10:15 am with no problems. I will never be returning to Hawk even though it's only 5 mins from my house... I'd rather drive to DuPage!

You know if it's a long post...it must have been bad…read more.. It really pains me to have to downgrade my initial experience of 5/5 to 2/5. I'm only keeping it a 2/5 instead of 1/5 because of Mannie in sales. This dealership started off strong but fumbled badly with communication Purchased a Prius Prime in December 2024 and got a flat tire in Jan 2025. Here are my issues 1) Tire repair kit was incomplete - I get that spare tires aren't a thing in some cars, but I hated finding out that my tire repair kit didn't have the liquid needed to fill the tire. I couldn't use the kit and was stuck driving on a flat. Why was this not checked before I was given the car? Mannie gave me one when I came in, but I think this should have been included when I got the car initially 2) Service Department- one day I had to call 5 TIMES AND NEVER GOT AN ANSWER. This is ridiculous. I was on hold for 5 min and 9 min with no response and I told the front to stop transferring me to service. They said they would take my name and number and have service call me back. No one ever did. I got a call faster from sales at 6pm about a dashcam than anything from service. Got towed and was finally brought to the dealer just for them to tell me their tire machine was broken. The day of they even called me and told me they had my tire ready. If I had known the machine was broken I would have gone elsewhere. While waiting at the dealership, two service folks told me they didn't have my tire in stock, but then I said I was literally called that day and told it was there. One said he would go in the back and come back out after clearing this up. I waited for 40 min and I finally went in the back and asked "what is going on with my car?" He said "oh no one told you?" "Dude, I've been waiting for 40 min! Why didn't you just come out and tell me?!" I had to call every day for 4 days to get updates on the fix and never was proactively called. 3) Payment- I finally spoke to the manager and expressed my grievances and was hoping to get this amount waived or reduced due to this poor customer experienced, but I still had to pay $400 for this tire fix still after all this work and after buying a new car just 30 days ago TLDR: I get that things are out of our control like tire machines breaking. However, communication and checking that all the spare kit is complete is within our control and that needs huge improvements at this dealership and I wish them the best.
