Had to stop in first thing on a cold day while it was raining. Within seconds of entering the store…read morewe were asked how we could be helped. We expained what was going on with our car and explained that it was dying but starting back up, and we would like him to test the battery and alternator to see if that was the problem. He put on his rain coat and took his computer out in the rain to check our car. He told us the readout was fine and there were no problems with either the battery or alternator. Then he told us that Honda's have a problem with the distributor cap and coils and that he really thought that was the problem. Well the part was over $200 and of course he explained you can't return it once it is purchased as it is a non returnable item. We figured since the battery and alternator tested fine maybe he was right. He continued to explain how to replace the part on the car and said people have changed them in his lot before. He said he had the tools if we need to use them and explained everything I needed to do. My friend called his mechanic friend who was willing to install it for $125 but I told him it sounded like something I could do. Advance Auto Parts really came through on this and saved us a lot of money and time by explaining why he thought this was the problem and the proper way to install the part. After we installed the new cap and coils the car ran and started excellent! He diagnosed the problem correctly and we got the car back on the road very quickly. Greg was the guy that helped us and I must say he is really very knowledgeable and very helpful. He didn't complain about the weather and tell us to come back later, he did his job and he went above and beyond to diagnose the problem and he made sure we knew how to install the part. Honestly this has been the best experience I have had at any of the auto part stores and I will make sure I return to this store for all of my parts. Thank You Greg!! I must say, this team knows how to put the customer first…read more I should begin by saying that we love Hyundai vehicles. Our last 4 have been Hyundais (2 Sonata and 2 Santa Fe). I say this to explain that we love the company. Now let me explain why we love this dealer. First, and foremost, their service department is the best we have ever dealt with. They actively work to build a rapport and relationship with each owner, and do what they can to make the experience satisfactory. Even if you don't buy a vehicle from them, take it to them to be serviced! Now, their sales team. As I said, we've had 4 Hyundais, but only the last two have been purchased from them. Our first was not purchased due to a less than satisfactory experience with a salesperson that was not customer-centric. The second was because they did not have the specific used vehicle we wanted. Our last two vehicles, however, have been the most painless purchases we have ever made. Not only did they offer several options as far as vehicles, but the negotiation process with both vehicles was without all of the "let me check for one more discount" back-and-forth that happens at some dealers. You can quickly get them to the "This is the payment amount we want per month" and they will do everything in their power to get it there. As long as Hyundai keeps making vehicles that we are happy with, we will continue to use Extreme.

They have now replaced 2 transmissions, the engine, the axle, spark plugs, and now 2 catalytic converters. Still no help from the dealership. Talked to the GM on 4/22/2026. First thing he made clear was he was not going to help until I removed my social media post. I informed him when I made that post, it was removed within 24 hours so then he was willing to speak with myself and my husband. He ended the conversation with a promised return phone call. He has yet to call us back. I have reached out since via phone and email. All I want is for someone to listen to me and help me. I have been nice. I have been respectful. I have not found one helpful person within this company. I do not know what else to do at this point.
