Before paying the $3 entrance fee, I asked if I found a tire in the yard, but didn't want the rim, did they have a tire machine to dismount the tire and if they would charge for that. I was told that they can dismount the tire from the rim and I would not be charged for this. I found a tire on a rim and ran into 3 problems: 1. They tried to charge me $10 for removing the tire from the rim even though I was told that there would be no charge. 2. They tried to charge be about $45 dollars for the tire even though the price listed on their website for a 13-16 inch tire is $21.99. 3. They added the "90-day worry free guarantee" fee of $6.60 without asking me whether or not I wanted it. Their price list does say that this fee is optional. I was happy with the fuse cover that I found, but not happy with the tire. I did not buy the tire. As silly as this sounds, you might want to consider bringing a non-honky friend with you so that you can avoid getting charged the higher and non-standard honky prices.

When I popped the trunk to perform what I assumed would be an easy-out/easy-in procedure, I was stymied by an usually complicated set-up due to my less-than-pristine car. A couple of my friends were unable to help me, nor were the head-scratchers at the Carquest Auto Parts I stopped in to help get some information. Out of options and not wanting to PAY someone to do something so seemingly menial, I took the long-ish drive south of the city to the nearest Advanced Auto Parts. Not only did the guy working the counter immediately help me accurately troubleshoot the solution to my problem, he provided (free of charge) all the tools necessary for me to do it, and do it correctly, right there in the parking lot. Advanced Auto Parts, for going above and beyond the call of duty, you have certainly won my business.

The waiting area includes free coffee, sodas and water. There is also a vending machine for a snack. Upon completion, my service advisor shared no additional services needed to be completed which makes sense since it's relatively low mileage. Only taking a star off due to post communication. Day after my visit, I received a text and email for 10% off deferred recommended services. I checked my paperwork and nothing was recommended. I called to follow up. The service advisor shared that due to mileage, a new cabin air filter would have been flagged but they checked mine and it was fine. I thanked him and shared I was initially upset about the text and email thinking information had been withheld and I had just been in. They mentioned it was part of their AI system and still were making adjustments. Well imagine my frustration when i received yet another text and email today around d my deferred maintenance. I will still come here because I prefer going to the dealership for maintenance however frustrated by the AI messages.

Apparently, the safety of customer means absolutely nothing to them as long as they make the sale. The general manager, Dave, refuses to take any accountability and told me to my face that he doesn't care if I inform others that they are endangering people along with wasting their money. And for the record, ALL of this was reported to them in the first few weeks of the purchase, they just repeatedly lied about its condition. Negative 10 stars.
